CHAPTER 17 : Cold Truth

CHAPTER 17 : Cold Truth

As Blue's mother delivers a punch to his head, her words cut through the air like a blade. "Don't say such things. It's easy, even if you don't want to. Let it out. At least smile. Aren't you happy to see your mother?" Blue's heart sinks, weighed down by a heavy burden he cannot articulate. Try as he might, words fail him, and he remains silent, his emotions swirling within him.

His mother holds him tightly, urging him to release his pent-up emotions. Blue's tears flow freely, a torrent of anguish and confusion pouring forth. In this moment of vulnerability, he allows himself to grieve, to mourn the loss of innocence and the shattered illusions of his past.

Meanwhile, in Omega's office, the human fused woman enters, her left eye bearing a clean, surgical cut. She presents herself before Omega, her voice steady despite the pain. "Omega, we have a problem."

Omega pauses from his work, his attention drawn to the woman's revelation. Inside the room, Dorothy stands motionless, her consciousness absent from her body.

The woman presses on, undeterred by Omega's menacing presence. "I have discovered new information about Blue. His skeleton is composed of the same substance as The Purgers. He's... he's half-robot. There are robotic properties in his blood and brain."

Omega's reaction is immediate, his expression a mask of calculation and intrigue. "Then there's no need for him to tell us about himself. Copy his memories onto a hard drive and erase his memories from his body."

The woman hesitates for a moment, grappling with the weight of her task, before finally acquiescing. "Yes, Omega."
