On the other side of the door, was a bright room. The overall structure of the room was gigantic compared to the rest of the dungeon. It was still made of stones, but it was three stories tall, and sunlight sprayed down from the top of the room.

Jasmine could barely open her eyes due to the harsh sunlight, but as she stayed in this room for longer, she got accustomed to the sun. As she regained her eyesight, she investigated the room and saw a human-like figure laying at the corner away from her.

When Jasmine walked closer, she noticed that it wasn’t a human, but instead a human and a robot. Leaning against the wall, a skeleton wearing a dress was sitting on the ground. Beside her, a robot sitting with similar posture. The skeleton’s head leaned on the robot, and they were holding hands.

Jasmine had never seen a real robot before. She’d only heard from her parents and other adults, about how dangerous they are, and why she should never approach a robot if she happened to encounter one.

Despite those warnings, it was too hard for Jasmine to suppress her curiosity. As she walked closer toward the robot, she noticed that it was well preserved. The robot’s skin was made with black metal, and no rust or scratch was visible. The robot had something written on its face, under its eyes., but the words were too small to see from a distance. Jasmine noticed the words, and stretched her head out to try and read it.

Abruptly, the robot’s eyes opened, and a spark of red light shot out from its eyes, onto Jasmine’s face. Jasmine backed up several feet to brace for an attack, but she soon found out that it was just scanning the surroundings.

“Human confirmed, please identify yourself.” A cold voice came out from the robot.

Jasmine remained silent at first, but the robot kept staring at her. Since she didn’t want to run away, Jasmine saw no other way than to speak to it.

“My name is Jasmine.” she said

“Unknown human identity.” The voice replied. “Start operation in limited mode.”

The robot’s head shook for a second as it closed its eyes. There were sounds of metal parts moving inside it. After a few seconds, the robot spoke again, but this time with a different voice. The voice of a real human.

“Hello Jasmine.” it said. “How can I help you ?”
