Prey

As Gabriel was unbeknownst to the church's plan he was looking for a place to recover and heal his body. He had to wash the blood out of him because it'll definitely look quite suspicious if people see a bloodied man walking around the streets. As he was walking down a dark alley he heard the sound of an argument going around, curious he stealthily approached the sound. As he peeked around the corner he saw two young couple that were in an argument. The young man was quite thin and looked haggard while the woman also looked thing, but she kept up her appearances but you can tell the makeup for it was quite cheap. "What are you talking about? You're the one working all night? Hahaha I've been working ever since I left my family just for you." The young man looked quite crazed as he was arguing with the woman he was quite annoyed because the woman kept threatening him that she'll break off all relationship with him if he couldn't get his life together. He fell in love with the woman when he saw her as a teen, they graduated from the same school and he pursed her even though his family persuaded him to stay and get a better education for a better job. "You've been working? What a joke if it wasn't because of my night job we wouldn't even be living in the slum right now. We would be out in street living like those vagrants begging for food." While the two were arguing they didn't noticed a bloody young man eyeing them like prey.

"They would be great for an art project but I'm in too bad of a shape to be creating another art, especially ever since I created the siblings, they even fought against me." Gabriel fantasized of turning them into a painting and regrettably denied the idea. Although he couldn't turn them into a painting, they were perfect prey. The type of people that no one would even notice or care if they somehow went 'missing' as these thoughts were running through he walked steadily toward them, removing the weakness he had on him he turned it into a mask of a predator.

While the young man was arguing with his fiancee he spotted in the corner a blood young man walking towards them. His face turned white and out of fear he shoved his fiancee to the man, he didn't know he did this, maybe it was because of his survival instinct or him being angered by her, he knew that he was the one who caused her death. Although he knew he was the culprit of her death he couldn't care enough about that, he was too scared and he wanted to just run away, so he did without even giving another glimpse to his fiancee.

While the fiancee was still shocked behind the reason why her fiance would shove her, she felt someone putting their hands on her shoulder. She was scared but what was even worse was that the hands didn't feel like human. They had no warmth and she felt something wet running through her shoulders, she barely managed to turn around and was scared to death at the sight she saw. It was a young man who looked like he should be dead about now. He had what should have been fatal injuries on his body and he reeked a sense that made the woman want to vomit on him.

Gabriel was also shocked to see what happen when the young man pushed the woman to him, but he even just felt more regretful. "Ahh what a waste of a potential for a painting. Such disgusting actions I wish I could turn them into a painting." He sighed as he thought of this and placed his hands on her shoulder. When she turned around Gabriel just simply snapped her neck, he didn't want to create anymore potential and he wanted it to be a clean kill. With the woman who had her neck twisted 360 degrees around blood came out of her mouth and she eventually succumbed to her injury. He took out the painting of the teacher and showed it to the dead body, the painting then transformed into tiny blood red tentacles and drained the body into an empty husk. After it was done with this the painting then looked better than before, all the injuries and tears it had suffered miraculously recovered. Gabriel then placed his right hand on the painting and a blood red glow came from the painting and it flowed into his body. It was quite warming and relaxing to be surrounded in the blood red glow, he looked like a red cocoon right now. After 5 minutes the cocoon 'hatched' and out came Gabriel who looked better than before, although he healed all the injuries on his body, he was very fatigued. His fatigue didn't stop him from worrying about the bigger problem at hand though, which was the man who pushed the woman. "It'll be fine I can easily track him down, I'll just take it as a giving him a 5 minute head start in hide and seek."
