Fight

As the ghost lunged at the siblings the sister pushed her brother out of the way. The brother was pale and he turned around and saw the ghost plunging her ghostly hands into his sister's body. She tore out her beating heart and crushed it in front of him. Strangely the heart didn't explode into bits instead it transformed into a red mist that seeped onto the ghost's dress. He screamed and rushed to the door of his room and tried to open the door but he noticed there was fleshly substances on the door that stopped him from opening it. He banged on the door while crying and sobbing. "Unfortunately that won't work I know you would create loud noises when you're frantically escaping." Gabriel passively commented he looked quite pale right now, his black hair was swaying in the wind and he looked quite tired. Cutting open his palm to control the painting was quite hard for him but his blood shot eyes still stared at the painting fanatically.

Luke was in dread and terror this day had been quite a roller coaster for him he was happy when he brought back the painting home with his sister Maria but the painting was painted by a murderer. He watched as his sister was brutally murdered in front of him and if it wasn't for his sister sacrificing her life to save him he would have already broken down to a mess. "No I can't die here yet I have to survive, for Maria and get the bastard who did this to us." Luke valiantly swore in his heart as he thought of this. His brain was working at maximum capacity at this time of crisis and he suddenly thought of the painting hanging up on the wall he dashed towards it in a speed he never thought he would be able to make. The ghost hasn't moved ever since she killed his sister it was like she was concentrating on something more important than him. He jumped and tore off the painting hanging on the wall and held it like a shield something that would save his life, he was honestly a nervous wreck but this was the only hope he had, everything has been blocked off for him. The door wasn't opening because of the fleshy substance blocking it and the window transformed into a gaping maw, and no matter how much he screamed or made noises it seemed like he was the only one alive in this ghostly place.

"Please please work." Luke prayed and begged to every god he knew, although he wasn't a devout believer of any god his family did believe in Mercy the God of Modesty. As he held the painting like a shield the body of her sister started to leak a white gas that resembled his sister but her expression was in madness and pain just like the lady in red. He was quite shocked when he saw this, but with this shock he held a tiny belief that maybe her sister who transformed into a ghost would recognize her own brother and help him just like she has always did. "Please sister please recognize me." He muttered weakly unsure of the outcome.

As he prayed it seemed like the gods gave mercy on him because his sister started to fight with the lady in red. Her sister lunged at the lady in red in a very rabid manner and the lady in red shrieked a ear screeching noise, the lady in red should have won this fight quite easily but as she was absorbing the kill she just had gotten she was quite weak. Luke watched as the two fight like wild animals, there was no grace in the fight they were just scratching and biting at each other, he almost vomited as he watch the fight, guts was flying everywhere and a piece of brain matter landed on him, but it seemed like the two ghosts didn't even acknowledge or care about the injuries they had on him. Although the lady in red was in a weak state she still held the ground over the newly born ghost, and the newly born ghost knew that although everything was controlling her by instinct so did survival, and she was looking for a way to win this fight, and she scanned the room while her bloodied head rotated around the room in a 360 degrees rotation and she spotted a young boy quivering in the corner. She felt a sense of familiarity coming from him but she also had a feeling that if she killed him maybe she could fight against the lady in red.
