A.N. a quick apology, sorry for not writing but I'm terribly lazy. Hmm anyway hope you enjoy.
The high-pitched cries of the majestic Eagle-Frog, *BRUUUUUUUUUUU-KAAAAAW!*
quickly rouses Henry who startled by the noise woke the small girl he is currently cradling against his left side.
"Huh~?, waz goin' on? ah? AH!?",
Steph waking up cradled against him, confused and then deeply embarrassed that she had been drooling on him as she slept, blushing she backpedaled and stammered something about being sorry.
Henry seeing her reaction couldn't stop the laughter bubbling out of his throat,
"HAHA URK!".
This aggravated his cracked ribs he gingerly held them trying to calm his breathing as he recalled yesterdays fight.
"Henry are you okay?!"
Steph rushed over to him as he held his ribs with a grimace clouding over his face.
"Y-yeah, looks like we need to see a Doctor."
Looking over her he saw a few scrapes and his eyes immediately latched onto her burned and blistered hands.
Using the wall of the alcove they rested in, Henry pushed himself to his feet and looked around, seeing puddles, their damp clothing and trails of sunlight peaking over the towns wall dispersing all traces of last nights storm.
"Let's go, time to find some help!"
With that overly optimistic statement they began searching the town, asking people along the way for directions to a healer.
They were getting no where as everyone they talked to said something along the lines of,
"Buzz off" and one strange man wearing a baggy trench-coat and hooded face said,
"Wanna buy some DeathStix?" after which he immediately tried getting closer to them but Steph elbowed Henry to get him to walk faster.
The sun was high in the sky, it was almost midday when they decided to take a break and rest at a water fountain they found in the middle of a small market square. Sitting against the base of the fountain Henry closed his eyes and breathed as deeply as his ribs would allow, as the day had wore on he had been sweating profusely and had felt as if he was suffocating being unable to breath properly.
Steph was cooling her blistered palms in the fountain letting out a small squeak at first then settling into a relaxed sigh.
Looking again at Henry, she was worried about how short of breath he was, she decided that she would leave him here to rest and find some help.
"Hey, Henry I'm going to go get some help, wait here okay?".
Without waiting for an answer she got up and started to walk away getting about 30 meters away before suddenly collapsing onto her face.
Henry heard a soft chime.
WARNING Partner has left the area WARNING
Making her way back over to Henry while avoiding the numerous stares of the people laughing at the fool who tripped over nothing she slumped down next to him, expecting him to laugh at her she stared at her sandals while hugging her knees.
"I'm sorry, I've been slowing you down...".
Looking at Henry she was sad to hear him say that but she wasn't sure what to say to him.
As she was pondering about this Henry just had an epiphany,
[Shopkeepers wont be able to run away!].
With his sudden and new found insight he quickly stood and beckoned for Steph to follow as he made his way over to a bald man wearing something like a toga except green in colour standing behind a stall draped in various bolts of cloth and rugs piled on top of it. The bald man was loudly declaring "The finest rugs in all of Altrecia! The softest and highest quality silk this side of the continent!", while trying not to see the two bloodied teenagers hobbling in his direction he felt that he was in for a long day today.
Henry came to a stop in front of the merchants stall, he was staring at the man trying to gain his attention, only to be met with him being blatantly ignored as he stared right through them as if they weren't there.

"Hey."
...
"Hey!"
...
The "Bald Prick" as Henry now saw him wasn't even batting an eye at them, so because he was having trouble breathing he quickly coached Steph on how to get the guys attention using the ultimate method, one he swore he would never lower himself to but decided this prick deserved it.
After a few seconds of Steph staring at Henry in abject horror, she then yielded to his plan.
Gathering herself and taking a deep breath she began,
"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seKaU-qQuts"
...
After the first few minutes the bald pricks face had turned a deep red as held back from yelling at the loud annoying girl.
...
They seemed to be drawing a crowd as people were gathering to see what the commotion was about, only to see a bald man who was obviously angry trying to conduct his business while a small brown haired girl wearing white clothes that are caked in dirt and singed around the edges was trying to get his attention.
Some people who were wearing similar white clothes were standing about pale faced and holding their hand over their mouth, watching in terror and relief that they hadn't warranted this kind of attack.
...
Finally after almost a full hour, the merchant lost his temper.
"WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU ANNOYING C*NT'S WANT!? HUH?! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO!?"
Seeing that she could finally stop Steph sat down heavily and groaned, while Henry clasped his hand over his fist as he'd seen in kung fu movies and looked into the sky as he bowed saying,
"Thank you, Annoying C*nt Shishou".
With a barely visible tear in his eye Henry turned back to the Merchant, not being disrespectful towards such a patient man,
"I'm very sorry for having to annoy you but you didn't even recognize that we we're right in front of you, so I had to use such a foul method, I sincerely apologize."
"Hmmph, yeah whatever tell me what you want and leave already."
"We would like to know where we could find someone to heal our wounds."
"Head west through the plaza until you see a building with a big wrought iron fence surrounding it, you can't miss it, it will be the one with all the explosions coming out of it."
Thanking the kind and benevolent man they walked in the direction he indicated, behind them they could hear an audible sigh and hearing something about joining a monastery.
Walking down the street taking the time to look at the buildings which were mostly made from stone, most if not all had a second floor with the first as a storefront or workshop. People milling around them they started to understand that life in this city is centralized around work, with little time for anything else as their clothes reflected that in being focused more on practicality over style, people like the rug merchant being the oddity.
Henry and Steph walked for a while not seeing a wrought iron fence, and soon began to think they had gotten lost when;
*BOOOOOM*
Something very similar sounding to thunder echoing about the streets, looking around they saw smoke coming out of a house around the next bend.
Hurrying over to see what happened they finally saw a large building that had three towers climbing up the side walls and rising above the roof, one of them currently on fire.
Just after they arrived the fire was quickly put out, via a localized rain cloud drowning the fire before it could gain any real intensity.
Looking over the building Henry saw a sign, which read.
