Sam Williams was a young man with a passion for the entertainment industry. He was a bright, outgoing person who loved nothing more than to be in front of an audience. Sam had grown up in a middle-class family with his parents, John and Karen Williams, and his older brother, John Jr.
The Williams family had lived in the small town of Greenfield for as long as Sam could remember. Greenfield was a quiet, peaceful town in the heart of the Midwest, surrounded by rolling fields and forests. Sam’s father worked as a mechanic at the local auto shop, while his mother was a nurse at the nearby hospital.
Despite their modest means, the Williams family lived comfortably. They owned a cosy, three-bedroom house on the outskirts of town, with a large backyard and a vegetable garden. Sam had his room, which he had decorated with posters of his favourite actors and musicians.
As a child, Sam had always been interested in the performing arts. He loved to sing and dance, and would often put on impromptu shows for his family and friends. As he grew older, Sam’s interest in the entertainment industry only intensified. He became involved in his high school drama club and performed in several school plays.
He dreamed of one day becoming a successful actor or perhaps even the big shot behind the scenes.
After graduating from high school, Sam decided to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He enrolled in a performing arts program at the nearby community college, where he met his girlfriend, Sarah. Sarah was a fellow acting major, and the two quickly bonded over their shared love of the arts.
As sam was an outgoing person with a love for the arts, and he had always been drawn to games with stunning visuals and engaging plotlines as well as Anime and Novels.
One day, while browsing through a local game shop that was closing down, Sam stumbled upon an old Otome game. The game had been sitting on the shelf, collecting dust, but Sam was immediately drawn to its vibrant cover and intriguing description. The game promised a world of romance, drama, and adventure, with a cast of unforgettable characters.
Sam purchased the game and eagerly took it home to play with his girlfriend, Sarah. Sarah was also an acting major, and the two of them shared a love for all things related to the entertainment industry. They settled down in Sam’s room and began to play the game, immersing themselves in its captivating story.
As they played, Sam couldn’t help but be impressed by the game’s stunning visuals and engaging plot. The characters were well-developed and the story kept him on the edge of his seat. Sam was thoroughly enjoying himself, and he could tell that Sarah was too.
However, as the clock ticked closer to midnight, Sarah decided to step outside for a moment.
She got up from the bed and stretched her arms, feeling a bit restless after playing the game for a while. She looked at Sam, who was fully immersed in the game and smiled.
“I’m going to step outside for a moment, Sam,” she said. “I need some fresh air, and I’ll buy you a soda from the vending machine down the street. Do you want anything else?”
Sam looked up from the game and blinked, his mind still caught up in the story. “Huh? Oh, no, I’m good. Just get me a soda, please.”
“Sure thing,” Sarah said, giving him a quick kiss on the forehead.

“Be right back.”
Sam watched as Sarah grabbed her coat and headed out the door. He returned his attention to the game, eager to see what would happen next. But as he played, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. He kept glancing at the clock, wondering how long Sarah had been gone.
After what felt like ages, the door finally opened and Sarah stepped back into the room, carrying a can of soda in one hand and her coat in the other.
“Sorry it took so long,” she said, handing Sam the soda. “The vending machine was difficult.”
Sam took the soda, placed it on the bedside table and thanked her, then returned his attention to the game as Sarah just sat next to him.
As the night wore on, Sam’s focus never wavered. He was completely entranced by the game’s stunning visuals and intricate plot, and he didn’t even realize it when he started to feel thirsty.
But then, as he reached for the soda can, his hand jerked and the can tilt precariously. In a split second, it toppled over, spilling its contents all over his hand and the game controller.
Sam gasped in shock as a jolt of electricity surged through his body. He felt a sharp pain in his hand and his muscles tensed up, making it hard to move.
“What happened?!” Sarah exclaimed, jumping up from the bed. “Are you okay?”
Sam tried to answer, but his throat felt dry and his words came out in a hoarse whisper. He looked down at his hand, which was now red and the game controller was smoking and sizzling, its plastic shell melting away to reveal the circuitry inside.
“Oh my god,” Sarah said, her voice trembling. “Let me get you an ice pack.”
“No, it’s okay. The pain is gone,” said Sam as he felt his hands.
Sarah quickly ran over to him and checked for any sign of burning but there were none.
She immediately suggested they stop playing for the night and go to bed. Sam reluctantly agreed, feeling disappointed that their game had been cut short.
As he lay in bed that night, Sam couldn’t shake the feeling that something strange had happened. He couldn’t explain the electric shock he had felt or the strange sensation that seemed to linger in the air. Sam drifted off to sleep, wondering what the future would hold for him, and for the mysterious Otome game that had captured his imagination.
As Sam slowly opened his eyes, he rubbed them, trying to dispel the remnants of sleep. When his vision cleared, confusion washed over him as he realized the room before him was vastly different from his familiar surroundings. The walls were marred with cracks, and peeling paint revealed the room's dilapidated state. This was no dream; it felt all too real.
Taking deep breaths to quell the rising panic, Sam surveyed the room's details. A flickering candle cast dancing shadows on a rickety wooden table, illuminating worn furniture. The frayed sheets and moth-eaten blanket on the lumpy bed offered no comfort.
His attention was drawn to a full-body mirror leaning against the cracked wall, beckoning him with its enigmatic reflection. He approached it cautiously, his heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. Would he find answers within this looking glass?
Just as Sam was about to peer into the mirror, he noticed a small maid girl sleeping in a chair beside his bed. Her head was tilted back, chest rising and falling with each soft breath. He hesitated, not wanting to startle her or draw any unwanted attention. Yet, an inexplicable feeling told him she held the key to the mysteries surrounding him.
Slowly, his widened eyes discerned that this room, this bed, and even his body were not his own. Panic surged within him, but he forced himself to stay calm, to assess the situation. The maid girl stirred, rubbing her eyes and gazing up at Sam with a sleepy gaze.
Seeing Sam, the girl's eyes widened, and tears welled up. She rushed toward him, embracing him tightly as she cried. Her sobs mingled with snorts, smearing his chest with a mix of tears and mucus.
After a few minutes, the girl released Sam from her embrace and checked his body for any signs of injury. Finding none, she led him gently back to the bed, urging him to sit.
"Young master Ellis, I am relieved you woke up," the maid girl stammered between sobs. "I was so scared that something terrible had happened to you."
The girl's tears and repeated use of the name 'Ellis' only deepened Sam's confusion. Who was Ellis? His memories felt hazy and fragmented, failing to provide answers to the girl's distressing words.
Sam reached out and placed his hand gently on the girl's head, hoping to offer some solace. "Please don't cry," he said softly, his voice laced with empathy.
Sniffling, the girl looked up at Sam with a mixture of relief and adoration. "I'm sorry, young master. I was just so worried about you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
As the maid girl wiped away her tears, Sam's gaze was irresistibly drawn back to the mirror. An intense need to see his reflection consumed him, a desperate search for understanding. "I... I need to see myself," he said, his voice trembling with uncertainty.
Nodding with concern evident in her eyes, the maid girl guided him toward the mirror. Sam's reflection stared back at him, a shocking sight that sent his mind reeling. No longer the young man he once was, he saw a 12-year-old boy with blue hair adorned with red strips and piercing blue eyes. His face radiated innocence and baby fat, a stark contrast to the person he used to be.
As Sam continued to gaze into the reflection, an intense headache suddenly struck him, causing him to collapse onto the ground. The maid girl gasped, rushing to support Sam's weight as he fell to the ground. Concern etched across her face, she quickly checked his pulse and breathing, relieved to find them stable. Carefully, she lifted him from the floor and gently laid him back on the bed, adjusting his position for comfort.
