A small fox can be seen playing, jumping and chasing butterflies.

No one knows where it came from, or who and where are its parents. As if it popped out of nowhere.

Since the fox started to be aware of its surroundings. Playing with other animals in the forest is its favorite thing to do. Well, aside from eating and sleeping.

Playing is the only thing that makes its life colorful, things that make its life entertaining.

Then one day, when he was playing with play dead with his mammoth friend.

Biting the hairy and fluffy neck of the poor mammoth, the fox was having fun while the mammoth sweating coldly feeling danger for its life.

A huge shadow loomed over the peaceful forest, the entire forest become quiet the body of all the monsters and animals alike froze except the white fox, holding their breaths afraid to be heard by this humongous monstrosity.

While the white fox tilted its neck with its pure eyes staring at the shadow full of interest and curiosity.

This monstrosity is the King of all the monsters, the king of the endless forest, the forest that is said impossible to conquer.

The Ten-Headed Hydra!

Even in the Era of Gods when Gods roam the world, it was invincible.

Even the Demon God Hekator, known to have incomparable regeneration paled in comparison.

Even though it was far away it was heard throughout the forest sending shivers down their spine as the shadow went away.

Everybody heaved a sigh of relief even the overlords like the basilisk, thunder condor, lightning wolf, sweated coldly like everybody else.

At that time the only thing that is in mind of the fox is he wants to be like that not because of pride, dignity or to rule over the forest. No, the fox thought with its young and childish mind that if he became like that then no one will refuse to play with him anymore and play with everyone in the forest.

Years passed after the incident the once little fox became as huge as a mountain, the white fox grew more bushy tails. Though the fox just shrugged it off after he lost interest and resume to play.

The white fox became popular with the inhabitants within their small community because of its natural playfulness and coupled with its gentle personality. Though with its strength it can even rival the Ten-Headed Hydra or even stronger. Of course, no one really knows.

Even the fiercest monsters known for being savage and cruel became gentle and kind. Making them wonder its origins.

On a peaceful day, the inhabitants of the forest oblivious to the impending tragedy that will change their life breaking the peace that they enjoyed for thousands of years.

Then it happened.

The Hydra has fallen.

The world became dumbfounded, all the races outside the forest were all surprised.

They thought that the human race is preparing for the war against the Demons but it seems that they were all wrong.

They underestimated the greed of humans.

Their greed truly knows no bounds.

3 kingdoms out of the 6 human kingdoms collaborated to attack the forest bringing half of their army with their Gods leading the army.

The 7 Gods from the Council including the hundreds of demigods and heroes leading the army fought the Hydra.

But their "victory" comes with a huge price, they sacrificed their life by creating a sword to slay the Hydra.

A sword made from the combined divinity of the seven gods, The God slaying sword Cra'al, the first holy sword that existed that can slay a God.

They underestimated the Hydra and the Dragon tribe.

The three Ancient dragons fought the human's hundreds of demigods while the warriors of the dragon tribe fought the heroes of the human race.

The 7 Gods perished together with the Hydra.

While the demigods and heroes of the human race are heavily injured unable to fight anymore it was also the same for the dragon tribe. Both sides retreated but it wasn't the same for the monsters and the army of the human race they continuously fought each other resulting in millions of casualties.

The human race has the upper hand with their ingenious weapons, creating devastating effects.

The Forest was burning, millions of animals and monsters died and tens of millions displaced.

The monsters fled for they knew that they already lost.

The humans continuously advanced.

While this was happening unbeknownst to them they let a monster that will almost make all of the races go extinct.

The white fox is too kind. He should've killed those humans in the beginning.

Seeing the numerous corpses of the monsters and animals lay dead on the ground.

While saving the animals and monsters as much as he could. He felt the new emotion he didn't know before, it's rage an uncontrollable rage that he wants to unleash to the damnable invaders. Seeing the burnt corpses and trees, something inside of him snapped.

Blinded by hate. Its eyes looked at them coldly.

Then all of them became rooted on the ground widening their eyes as they sweated coldly while staring at the Nine-Tailed White Fox with fear and apprehension.

It opened its mouth wide in the direction of the humans. Then an enormous amount of mana gathered in its mouth compressing until it became liquid forming a blue sphere. Then with unbelievable speed, it shot towards them followed by a blinding light and a deafening sound. Within tens of miles, there's nothing left behind but a huge crater with flashes of lightning. All within the area turned into ashes, the ground became charred.

The millions of soldiers of the human race along with the demi-gods and heroes got annihilated leaving nothing behind.

But the hatred of the fox is still as strong as ever.

It continued its rampage destroying numerous cities along the way.

All of the Races band together for fear that they will be the next. They were right though.

Even the arrogant demons put their differences and joined the alliance but even with that they only put up for half a month as Gods and Goddesses, demigods and heroes fell one after another.

The strongest Demon God Zerathin, The Humans head God Arthur, The Elven Goddess Aelena, The Dwarven God Marduk. All of them perished. Resisting pathetically.

When they thought that it's the end for all of them. The Demon Fox spoke.

"Let that be a lesson for you all, if you ever dare to invade again there wouldn't be next time."

The Fox knew that it was impossible to forbid them because there is always a fool that will make a mistake again sooner or later. But he wished that with this they will no longer dare to for the next Hundreds of thousands of years or longer if possible.

All of the Gods along with numerous demigods and countless heroes have fallen.

With more than half of the population died.

And with that, the Golden Era, the Era of Gods came to end and the Dark Ages started.
