Lily could feel the warm rays of the morning sun on her face when she woke up. She slowly opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was Mia's face looking back at her. The other girl was lying on the edge of the spacious bed, wide awake and dressed.

"Uf, how late is it?" a sleepy Lily asked, rubbing her eyes.

"It's almost noon," her girlfriend answered, smiling. She sat up, and lifted the sheets covering Lily. The morning air's cold touch on her exposed skin made Lily realize she was naked, and she quickly pulled the sheets back, covering herself.

"Oh no, I missed my morning practice," she said with a hint of panic. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I had several good reasons," Mia answered with a grin. "First, you are my girlfriend, and spoiling you is my job. Second, a message from the temple arrived last night while we were away. They've made space available for you to train in, and Rick left to prepare it this morning."

Lily was glad to hear that, as it meant that she could start practicing her other skill soon. It made her feel better about missing a day of training, and she got up to a sitting position as Mia continued her explanation.

"Third, you were so cute while you slept that I just didn't have the heart to wake you up," Mia continued, causing Lily to blush slightly. "Finally, and most importantly, after last night's activities, I didn't think you would be in shape for any training without a good night's sleep."

Hearing that, Lily's face turned fully crimson as she recalled the events of the night after they returned to Mia's room. She remembered how Mia skillfully explored her body, while she squirmed in pleasure. It's just not fair, my skill makes me very sensitive, Lily thought as she remembered what happened when Mia's fingers and tongue got involved. She yelled out more than one blasphemous curse at her goddess as Mia sent her over the edge time and again. Lily wasn't sure what this world's equivalent of a 'hair trigger' was but she was sure Mia would let her know after her performance last night.

" Don't feel so embarrassed," Mia said as she sat down next to her. "I think it's cute."

"Really?" Lily asked meekly, and Mia nodded.

"It's nice to see that your divine body isn't perfect and has some downsides," she answered, using one arm to trace her girlfriend's curves through the sheets. "And it's a lot of fun to make you squirm." As if to make her point, she traced her fingers across Lily's chest, making her shudder as the soft fabric touched her exposed skin.

"I am glad that one of us is having fun," Lily said with a martyred look on her face, causing Mia to giggle.

"Oh, I think you had plenty of fun last night," Mia whispered in her ear, and Lily could only nod. "Besides, some of the priests at the temple have a similar skill. I am sure any of the priestesses would be more than willing to help you get a better feel for your new body."

" And my girlfriend would be okay with that?" Lily asked, thinking of the possible implications of a priestess of the goddess of love 'helping' her get a 'feel' for her own body.

"Sure I would, as long as I am there during the practice sessions," Mia answered with a wink. "Anything to make my girlfriend happy. Don't forget, you are the Avatar of Dahlia. I am not so delusional to think I will always have a monopoly on your affections. They say the last person to hold your position, Stella, left a trail of broken hearts and pregnant girls wherever she went. I am just one girl, after all."

"I would never do anything without your consent," Lily said, and she meant it. "I am not Stella, even one girl might be more than I can handle."

"I appreciate your concern for me, but you have to remember your position. What if one of the rituals you end up having to do for your quest requires sexual activities?" Mia asked softly. "That's not out of the question when you consider Dahlia's nature."

"It's not something I've thought about," Lily admitted. She didn't consider herself a prude, but her relationships back on Earth were monogamous. It didn't really cross her mind that her position as the living embodiment of the goddess of love and passion might include physical as well as spiritual worship. Now that it was brought up, the idea of more than one partner excited her more than she would have thought possible back in her previous life.

"I guess, if it's fine with you," she stuttered, trying to hide her newfound enthusiasm, and Mia nodded.

"That's more like it, my girlfriend needs to be someone who isn't gonna be satisfied with just one girl, even if that girl is the best one in the world," Mia said with a smug look.

"Did anyone ever tell you that you are a pervert?" Lily asked her girlfriend seriously and Mia chuckled in response.

"Only one of us was perverted enough to be chosen as the Avatar of Dahlia, and it wasn't me. You even seduced and slept with the first girl you met in your new life, which is pretty perverted if you ask me," Mia shot back, forcing Lily to concede the point.

"Maybe you are right," she admitted.

"Acceptance is the first step on the road of progress," Mia said philosophically. "We'll turn you into a proper follower of Dahlia in time. Imagine all the cute girls lining up to join our party when they hear that you're the Avatar. You could even hold tryouts…" Mia whistled as she let the image linger in Lily's mind. She grabbed some clothes and threw them onto the bed.

"I think it's time to get up, breakfast has been ready for a long time," she said, and smiled as she saw the hint of panic in Lily's eyes. "Don't work, the chefs made it, not me, I just set the table."

She sat down cross legged in the sofa across from the bed, and gave Lily a look of encouragement.

"Now, I think it's time you thank your hardworking girlfriend by putting on a small small show," she said, pointing at the pile of clothes on the bed.
