God forgive me for I will commit a sin. She prayed silently in her thought. The girl was wearing the most expensive dress she had been ever given by her parents. Her two siblings that were sitting in front of her still gave her annoyed look. Because of her, their parents spent most of the money to get her the dress and had no spare to get them a new one, so they were forced to wear the most fancy clothes they had from last year.
As if any other noble will remember and notice their clothes are old. she mocked them internally.
She turned her head to look at the window, throwing her gaze passed the blurry glass, out to the moving scenery on the road. The carriage they were in was moving too slow. She wondered if the steed her family used was too old to pull the carriage, or it was just the driver who didn't dare to acquire the ire from the Baron and Baroness of Mereworth by driving the rocky road recklessly, maybe both.
"Remember to shut your mouth and drop your gaze to the ground when we meet the viscount. That's all you have to do, we will do the talking. Don't mess it up." Her father who sat beside her reminded. The baron didn't even pay her a look, his eyes were still closed, trying to sleep away this uncomfortable ride.
"If things go as smooth as we hope, we will hold your wedding a week after today princess birthday party. Rejoice, you will marry before your sister. I bet Carla envy you, being able to marry so fast into a family with higher nobility." Her mother who sat beside the Baron chimed in. She too didn't pay her a look. The baroness gazed out of the window at her own side instead.
"Oh, not at all, mother. I feel tremendous joy on Maya's marriage." Her sister who sat across her joined the conversation. Carla opened and spread wide her fan then covered her mouth with it, though the fan wasn't wide enough so it couldn't hide her wicked grin she directed at her.
Maya, as they knew her, didn't give a single word as respond, not even a sigh. She kept gazing out of the window while resting her head on one hand.
"Try to hold on as long as you can, preferably longer than his two previous wives. We need his financial aid for longer term than we expected, he will not give it if you die after a single night." Her brother demanded, he sat beside her sister and shared the same wicked grin as her.
What a lovely family. She closed her eyes and sighed internally. I always hate Count Yornold faction, they always make a mess and none of the faction member is sane. She grumbled silently.
Her father was a knight who had served the previous Count of Yornold the longest. He could served the late Count so long not because he was the best among the other knights, but because he was clever enough to fade into the background every time the late Count had assignment for the knights. Be it escort or assassination mission, he had successfully got others to leave him behind to defend the mansion most of the time. That was how he could stay alive longer than any of his peers.
When the Previous Count bit the dust and his son inherited his seat of power, he made him a baron and gave him three villages to govern. After that, he immediately retired as a knight --literally and figuratively-- and focus on being a noble. With not much wealth and his territory was recently ravaged by monsters, he tried to sell her off --his second daughter-- to the Viscount of Whalley. The man was beyond old and notorious for beating his wives. The two wives her brother mentioned earlier were dead, allegedly by the viscount's rough treatment when doing sex.
Yet still, they want me to marry him. Maya sighed internally.
Using the second princess's birthday party as a cover so her parents wouldn't have to arrange a proper, fancy, and expensive dining to meet the Viscount, they intended to discuss the trade as well as doing the marriage interview in the castle.
God forgive me for I will commit a sin. She repeated the words in her mind. She closed her eyes momentarily and opened it again. A seen-through greenish interface appeared and hovered in front of her face.

The beginner bundle deal. Maya smiled. In the game, the classes option is the most friendly novice option, and was the most chosen by players because the majority of them are people who only wanted to enjoy the game without any difficult thinking. But players who already completed the game once, or they who prefer more costumed character, or they who decided to go pro wouldn't choose this option.
Back then the Fire Mage is the most popular one, with Solar Sorcerer as its final evolution at the maximum level of seven hundred, it was loved by huge number of player. Well, who wouldn't? High Damage, Lingering Effect, Compatible for fighting most monsters and bosses with the exception of few tens special one, Solar Sorcerer has almost everything every player need.
Choosing that class will also be my choice if I don't have a dire situation on my hand that I need to deal with quickly. The problem with classes option is that it is a long, steady growth of strength. What I need right now is immediate immense power, or else I won't be able to defeat the veteran knight. Maya stole a glance at the man who sat beside her for a second, then she glanced back at the window.
The hard road it is. Maya willing her mind to spend 20 points to get stone magic skill level 1, then she spend another 30 points to upgrade the stone magic skill to level 2, then she put 20 points on Arcane, 20 points on Constitution, and her last 10 points agility. After that, she willing her mind to move the interface so she could see her general information.

Maya faintly smiled, Now I have a magic skill level 2, it makes me as strong as 100 level player if I could make use of it properly. Some of the disadvantages of my current build is that I can only cast two or three spells, and while I have 20 points on CON which makes me 200% more difficult to be killed than normal human, I doubt it is enough to tank more than three serious punches or kicks from a veteran knight.
Maya pondered if it was enough to take down the Baron. If memory served her right, Knight-like class is among the second evolution options, which could only be taken by player if they had reached level 100. The beginners who had chosen beginner bundle deal, which was the classes option, could only evolved if they had 100 points to spend to buy the said evolution. And the pro players could only evolve it if they had upgraded the required status to a certain point and the necessary skills to the second level, which again, needed around 100 points to spend.
One of the major difference between the custom route Maya had taken, and the bundle deal route beginner players took by choosing the class of Stone Mage from the classes option, was that Maya now had stone magic skill level 2 without requiring her to grind 100 levels first.
Of course, this kind of route with unbalance build was high-risk-high-gain, but Maya had no choice other than to take it. Magic skill level 2 was necessary to fight level 100 enemy.
If I succeed, I could take over the household as the sole inheritor and I don't have to marry the viscount. If I fail, I will probably die and don't have to marry the viscount. Win Win it is. Maya resolved herself for one last time.
God forgive me for I will commit a sin. and just like that, Maya focused her mind to conjure the spell from stone magic level 2: Lance on the ground.
She felt the benefit of putting 20 points on Arcane as she was gradually able to grasp the invisible string of mana. She tightly clenched her right hand and lifted it up above her head. Suddenly, a two meter spike made out of stone rose from the ground, it penetrated the floor of the carriage and pierced past the baron's butt and gut.
The stone spike that had struck stopped the carriage, and the resulted inertia of the motion threw the passengers forward.
Had successfully caught her family off guard, Maya continued to conjure the second and the third stone spike, which in turn pierced pass the baron's liver and heart.
Not satisfied but had spent almost all of her mana, Maya pulled out a kitchen knife which she had been hiding in her dress and cut the baron's throat. Warm dark red blood spurred out of his neck as Maya repeatedly stabbed him in the eyes and thighs.
Hearing the sound of notification in her mind, she stopped massacring the baron and turned around to her brother. Still hadn't recover from the shock of the gruesome sight, Her brother didn't make any effort to evade or retaliate, despite the man having a swordsman class.
Mental fortification isn't amplified by status and classes. She noted, then proceeded to kill him.
Her mother and sister were finally able to process the horrifying sight before their eyes, and began to hysterically scream. Fear and horror overrode their mind as none of them were able to make the right judgement to reach for the door and exit the carriage. Instead, they frantically pushed themselves to their respective corner and wildly kicking around to keep the blood soaked Maya out.
Finished killing the sole son of the baron, she turned to the two people left in the carriage and threw them the same wicked grin her sister gave her a moment ago.
##########
"Please, Lady Maya! I'll keep quiet about this! I will not tell anyone! I swear! Please let me live! I have a daughter!" The rider of the carriage pleaded while slowly crawling away from her.
"Sorry Tom, I can't leave any witness, or it will be me who will die next." Maya nonchalantly replied, she caught one of his leg then pulled and dragged him to her. She swung her arm and let the bloodied cold blade penetrated his body.
Again, and again, she stabbed him until she heard a notification sound in her mind.
Maya let go of the knife as both of her knees fell on the ground. She looked up and found that the dark grey clouds had filled the sky and blocked out the sunlight.
She sighed, then stood up. There is still three things to do. She focused what left of her mind and willed for the greenish interface to appear.
Alert! You have killed Knight of Yornold - level 124
Alert! You have killed a Swordsman - level 33
Alert! You have killed a human - level 6
Alert! You have killed a human - level 4
Alert! You have killed a human - level 18
Alert! You have leveled up to level 2! You receive 1 point!
Alert! You have leveled up to level 3! You receive 1 point!
.......
Alert! You have leveled up to level 14! You receive 1 point!
I got lucky that the Baron has been out of fight for too long. Maya humbled herself. Then she spent 7 points on Arcane and another 7 on Constitution.
She willed the interface to disappear and looked at the carriage and the horned steed that pulled it.
"You are really too old to give a fuck, huh. Other Boulderbull might have run along time ago when they see their rider getting murdered." She spoke to the uncaring steed, who didn't even give her a single moo as a reply.
She then conjured a big blunt-tipped stone spike to topple off the carriage to the side, and another normal stone spike to kill the Boulderbull. She ignored the notification sound and grabbed the kitchen knife that she had dropped on the ground.
She stared at the bloodied blade and gulped, In for a penny in for a pound. She convinced herself for one last time and stabbed herself a few times in some non-vital area.
