Simply the best!

Simply the best!

Waking up, Ren wasted no time to log into the game, yet as always his size had grown massively , about twice his previous height and easily triple his length.

He was shocked by this sudden growth spurt, however he assumed at the rate he was going, he couldn't reach 300m in 20 days.

He first shrunk down to an appropriate size, and teleported to the control room, he had decided that today he needed to explore some real cities, mainly to gain resources and to get people to come to the dungeon.

At the moment the only people who would come would be NPC's, however, unlike some games,  the NPC’s could fight, though none could match him.

After notifying the maids he would be gone for a while, he teleported to the control room and turned on all defences, excluding invisibility.

Ren then proceeded to teleport to the front of the island, checked his map, changed to his largest form, and started to fly towards the closest city shown on the map.

Normally he would have checked the area when he first moved the castle to this place, however he knew all he needed to with the ingame map.

With his new form, flying was at a ridiculous speed, and he easily covered the 100 miles in 30 minutes, entertaining himself along the way with daydreams of the future of his city.

As he came within one mile of the city, he lowered himself closer to the ground and changed his form every 100 metres, till he was in his smallest form, However, this was not how he would enter the city.

He had gained many skills from the pile of scrolls, however there were some that were not for fighting, he had gained two of such types that caught his attention.

Humanification

Change [Appearance]

Once he reached the ground, he activated Humanification, To transform into a human, only then could he use Change [Appearance] to transform into an elf, then again to transform into a man in about his 20’s.

His armour and weapons also changed, the armour looking like white gold, with diamonds and rubies encrusted all over.

The sword was solid mithril, with a hilt made of Adamantium, and a diamond pommel, the sheath looked like it was simple steel, and when the sword was placed inside, turned the sword so it looked ordinary, this function could be turned off and the sheath also became rich with jewels, It had invincible durability to hold the sword without it breaking through.

The staff was made of dark oak, the rarest type in the game, it was almost unbreakable with a crystal at the end for channeling and strengthening extra mana, a crystal this large would easily cost as much as several castles.

Ren closed towards the city, and ran around the outside till he saw a city gate in the distance, he walked further away, and followed the road back, then walked towards the gate along the road, looking like a normal traveller, well, partially normal.

There was a long queue to enter the city, which he joined at the end, attempting to not stick out, however, this was obviously impossible.

People all around issued gasps of surprise at his body that was seemingly glowing in money, Ren, however, acted unfazed and attempted to look like an expert, looking at those below him.

By now, the guards had come over to see what the disruption was, only to see Ren standing there, in all his glory, they immediately escorted him to the gate, as instructed they should do for the rich by their superiors, and let him go straight through.

Ren was taken aback by this, however realised it was to gain his favour and ignored it.

The city was fairly nice, with well made buildings and stylish clothing.

He could see players all around, with their NPC parents or on their own. His first reason for coming was to get people to go to his dungeon, therefore he headed to the adventurers guild to report his ‘findings’.

As he entered in, the smell of ale was in the air, with a murmuring of voices all around.

With his heightened senses, he could make out some words. Many were shocked at his armour, with some jealous and calling him just a rich merchant.

He walked up to the desc, where an extremely respectful elderly man stood, “Handing in a Quest sir?”

“Ah,no, I’d like to actually register one and also… Register as an adventurer”

“Oh! I assumed you already were by your attire, anyways, please state the specifics of your quest”

Ren proceeded to tell the man about an island in the sky he had seen, giving map co-ordinates, to the surprise of the man, and giving a reward of 1000+ gold for information about it, and also more for more detail about its inside.

“Ok then, Sir, We need to test you to determine your adventurer rank” This surprised Ren as most games had the classing, do a some quests, go up ranks system, however this got rid of the whole, super-strong low-rank problem.

They proceeded around to the back of the adventurers guild, where a large sigil was on the ground.

“Sir, stand on this, various monsters will attack you, how long you last for will determine your rank.”

First was a goblin, which he simply killed off with his aura, this continued for the next 20 monsters, till they reached level 100, by this point the elderly man was on his knees with wide eyes.

He tested even SSS rank adventurers here, yet even them had to use physical attacks to kill the creatures.

Up till level 150, the monsters were all defeated in one strike, however at this point the monsters stopped.

“S-sir, You completed the entire test, I normally would leave this here and just give you SSS rank… However you clearly far surpass that, Please follow me”

Ren followed the elderly man around the side of a building, where an unsuspecting outside storage closet stood.

He opened it up with a key by his waist, and revealed a set of stairs leading down into the darkness, Ren stepped into the closet and down the stairs, brushing away cobwebs.

At the bottom was a large stone room, with another, red, sigil in the center, the elderly man stayed back, however motioned for him to continue forward.

As Ren stepped into the room, it started glowing with an immense light, this light slowly started to form a being.

It condensed into a being that emanated an aura of power.

Embodiment of Destruction, Level 221

Swish. Off goes the head.

The old man was on his knees, “H-How! That was summoned by the strongest known magician!”

“Oh… Really?”

Ren walked over to the man and offered him a hand to help him up, which was accepted, although trembling.

“You.. You are the only Alpha rank in the world, That summon was given to all of the cities, and has never been defeated anywhere thus far… come, this information needs to be registered on the system.”

Ren followed the man back to the desk, where the man took out a clear, glass device.

“Please give your name, an alias is fine if you wish.”

“Azure Flame”

“Also, please hold this stone so we can assess your strength in numbers.”

Ren held onto the tablet, as he felt a small bit of mana drain out of him, the man was shocked like never before.

He had expected that Ren had been at most level 300, which was already unequaled, however, his current level of 478 was shocking.

This was marked down with fingers trembling like reeds swaying in the wind.

A blue and white medallion was handed to him, “This is to show your Alpha rank status, show this anywhere and you can get privileges equal to an emperor.

Ren cut off the fabric holding it in place and with the shaping of the armour, attached it to the area around his left chest pocket and without another word he left the building.

The old man was still behind with a pale face, as he sent off this information to the capital, in the event he should ever go there, he would have the king greet him personally.

Now Ren had another place to pay visit to, The merchant guild.

Whatever game you played, a merchant guild would have incredible wealth, meaning incredible power, this was another group he needed to get on his side.

He strode into the merchant’s guild after a while of looking around, and exuded an aura of nobility and power.

Immediately the guild leader stumbled over to him to greet him

“Great sir, Do you need something?” This man was obviously attempting to smooth talk,

“May I join the merchants guild?”

“Yes sire, however, there is a fee of 100 gold, with 6 ranks of wealth, your rank depends on how much money you have.”

“What rank for 12000000 G?”

The man had a grin plastered on his face, however you could see patches of sweat all over him.

“Surely you're joking?” However the man knew that Ren had a large amount of money simply by his attire.

“I never joke.” Ren was still attempting for an aura of nobility.

The man could not help but stutter as he said the words “Midas class, merchant king”.

(Please tell me if you think of a better name for the highest rank!)

After procedures similar to the adventurers guild, another man left shaking, the same capital shocked, and a medallion on his right chest pocket, he left the building.

As Ren left, he could not help to breathe out, he felt he may have rushed, but had to get away from all that pressure.

“Teleport, Azure Flame, Player Home”

He appeared back at his home, and using his powers, erected a gazebo in the garden, which he would rest in for his next growth, as his room would not be able to hold him any longer.

Again, He had shocked himself.

So much had happened on that day, and it had changed the course of the game entirely.

Firstly, the game producers were confused about where this mysterious expert appeared from, as they knew he was not a player, and he could not be found in the NPC database, however, they did not want to interfere with the game to a large amount, so they left it be, without interfering unless he did something too major.
