“ Hello young man, how can I help you?” the man asked.
Jorun looked at the man and replied “ hello sir, my father sent me with a note for you”
“ And youre father would be?” the man questioned with a hint of curiousity evident in his voice.
“ Halron, we live in the forest to the south of here”. Jorun handed over the note to the man. As the merchant opened the vellum, his eyes started to widen.
“Jorun is it? Its seems youre father would like a delivery of various components for tracking and trapping. Quite the big order as well” the merchant questioned the young man in front of him.
“ Yes sir, there has been a bigger than usual migration this year and we do not have enough components to make the traps. Especially as I have turned 16 two weeks ago sir”.
As Jorun said this the merchants eyes widened and a small laugh escaped his mouth “ Well well well, are you off to the towers of WILL? And yes I can have that delivered to youre father tomorrow.”
“ Thank you sir, and yes I am. Thank you for helping us sir” Jorun replied handing over the purse from inside of his brown leather jacket.
Jorun nodded to the merchant and started of towards the three looming towers in the middle of the city.
Jorun's feet took over from his mind as he started to think of what would happen if he managed to display his WILL. Not much is known about what happens when someone is enrolled into the order. He knew there were 3 levels within the order, although that sometimes is incorrect. Depending upon the situation, an initiate can match the will of a master. On a day to day basis the weakest are the initiates, they generally get assigned to city maintenance helping the architects and the sewage system. The next level are the journeyman, they are usually assigned to either the tower of smiths, alchemy or warrior depending upon there talents. Next up are the masters. Not much is known about these powerful individuals, what is known however is that they consider themselves to be makers. The trees surrounding the plaza's are one example. Willed into being through a process known only to masters of the order, these trees radiate a sense of peace and contentment, insuring there will be no crime of any sort, and fair trade within the plaza. The next level is grandmaster, only one piece of information is known to the general populace, that is they bind members of the order with oaths unbreakable.
An initiate can affect reality in small ways, journeyman can bend and shape the very fabric of reality, masters however are a whole other breed. They can take reality and create things. History is littered with tales of war, powerful artefacts, practitioners who have bent and shaped the very fabric of the land under there power. For thousands upon thousands of years WILL users used to plagued the land, until the war of five.

As Joruns feet continued on there journey, his mind was lost to the past. Not much has survived from that time, what is known however is that a group of fifteen of the strongest WILL users, capable of completely stopping the massive and inevitable flow of time within there bodies banded together. During this time there was no law, only the strong ruled and did as they pleased. Altering the climate, raising mountains regardless of the people in the way. Creating weapons that could level city’s, creating artefacts to alter creatures into mindless or intelligent beast depending upon there mood at the time. Some even created beast's of colossal power through sheer force of WILL.
However for all the bad, there was still good.
Artefacts that could heal any wound, even lost limbs, artefacts that could teleport people and goods between city’s.
But the bad far outweighed the good, this group saw that and decided to end the free reign of WILL users. They went to war with all the major powers of that time, eventually winning although only five survived.
After winning the long war, the last five survivors Malkk, Tolv, Shirhel, Solha and Dregla held a summit. They came to many decision during that summit.
There needed to be a regulation on WILL users, something to bind them so they can be controlled. They also decided to find and destroy all artefacts and weapons created during that time.
Also they decided to gather up all of the surviving users into the centre of the continent. They picked one hundred users each to start an Order in each of there territories thereby controlling all the users that would be born in the future.
After they came to those decisions they argued over what the land should be like, the weather, crops and even the skin tone of the people.
After a long argument and discussion they decided they all should have whatever they wanted. Although the one bone of contention between them was the skin tone of the people. They rightly thought that there will always be hatred between races, shown to be true by history.
After another long discussion they decided that all people should have the same skin tone, all the land masses should be bound into one mega-continent,and that there lands would be separated by walls as a symbol of there sovereignty.
It is unknown how they managed to accomplish these truly unfathomable feats, but all people now have skin the colour of gold, there is only one landmass bisected by five huge walls. And in the middle where the walls meet is a city where all trade between the different country’s is held once a year, derelict once finished.
As these thoughts finished Jorun looked up at the three towers.
