Currently on Hiatus The modern world was met with a tumultuous surprise when mysterious portals suddenly appeared and otherworldly monsters flooded through, wanting to destroy this world. On that day, humanity received their greatest tool in combating this threat: the Slayer System. Those who accepted the System's power were called Slayers, and they had created a new, prosperous peace. Decades after, Alexander Shen lives in Ordo, the Slayer Capital of the world, months away from graduating university. Although uncertain about his future, he wishes for nothing but a normal life for himself and his younger sister. However, as another disaster strikes, caught once again in catastrophe. Having his normal life snatched away from him, he is determined to fight, even if it means going against the cosmos itself. [SAGA 1.1: BASTION UNIVERSES] The Ordo Disaster has ended, and the world is reeling from the destruction that the Kreutz Sungrazers had inflicted. Everyone is in uproar of a new crisis looming ahead of them, and once again the world faces a terrifying possibility of an imminent apocalypse. However, a new star had emerged from this incident: Alexander Shen, otherwise known as 'Conqueror', who is determined to defeat Sirius Aethfell and his commanders. In order to do so, he collaborates with the world's strongest Slayer, Nathan Hyun-Creed, to create a new organization whose sole purpose is to overcome this new threat: Bastion Universes. However, Slayers often say that their own people are the largest encumbrances. Thus, Alexander is thrusted into a world of international politics of governments and corporations and organizations like his own, each with their own agenda and motivations. To accomplish his mission, Bastion Universes need to secure a place at the table.  Current Arc: HIATUS Order: Slayer is a modern LitRPG progression, inspired by works like Solo Leveling and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. If you like a character-focused story, a system that allows for various types of magic, some romance, a tiny bit of realism, then perhaps you will like this one. You will see clever characters, strong characters, absolute idiots, and more, interacting in the modern world.  The story is structured into Sagas and Arcs.
