Luo mentally screamed as he felt himself breaking through the chains holding him and entering a new realm, but soon after he broke the chains a could resounded inside his mind as he could see a holographic screen in front of him stating.

"Congratulations on reaching [First Order]"

"You are now considered a [First Order] being"

Luo was perplexed by the sudden appearance of the message as he read the title at the top.

'First order being? what is this about? And wait this is uh, Akashic records?'

Luo was starting to question whether he was hallucinating, but he quickly calmed down and decided to get out first then think about it later.

After coming out Luo was greeted by Jenna who hugged and congratulated him

"You've done well enduring it Luo, congratulations"

"Yeah, thanks."

Things progressed quite smoothly after as Luo got promoted to a Leader's rank and created his own private team, he got Jenna in and some random other guys, after finishing all the experiments there was no other way for Luo to get stronger quickly, so he focused on doing missions to gain experience, learn new skills and also to finish repaying his debts both the good and bad ones, just like six years went by as Luo was on the way back from his solo mission of assassinating a mafia boss when he got the information that Jenna got kidnapped by Bruce.

"What does that old man want from her, sh#t I let my guard down as I was way too focused on my personal matters and growth, I should've just taken his head at first"

Luo talked to himself as he ran at an inhumane speed leaving only blurs behind. Luo and Jenna's relationship developed a bunch during these six years as they started dating and are even engaged as of now awaiting their incoming child. Jenna has long since retired thanks to Luo's request since his authority was constantly growing because the higher-ups couldn't refuse him as he was currently their pillar as Bruce's condition started worsening these recent years and his strength declined a lot, this was also the reason why Luo didn't pay him as much of attention any longer.

After reaching their base, Luo went straight into Bruce's office, knocking over the metallic door.

"Bruce Listen, you motherf#cker don't even think about doing something to her. I will kill you!"

Luo said with killing intent filling his voice as he said

"Oh, look who we have our little big shot. You have grown quite a bit these past few years, haven't you?! You even learned to threaten now"

"Cut the crap, where is my wife?"

Luo's words were filled with a great deal of killing intent. Since he entered, he has been checking the surroundings, but he was unable to find her anywhere around. This is why he is holding back from slicing Bruce up and trying to get some information about her whereabouts. In Luo's eyes right now, Bruce was no more than a sitting duck as he was covered by an intense white aura.

'This bitter taste, greed and madness?!'

Alarmed at how intense the emotions he could feel from Bruce, he said losing some of his composure

"HEEY, Bruce where is my wife?!, if something hap_"

"Nah, not this time Little Luo, you can do nothing to me. Take a look by yourself"

Bruce cut Luo mid-sentence as he turned on a screen showing Jenna draped over an operation table surrounded by people in coats as if ready to perform on her

"JENNA! HEY, YOU CRAZY BASTARD IF YOU DO SOMETHING TO HER I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE"

In the face of the screen, Luo lost his calm, sensing something bad might happen

"Relax, Luo we just heard that you guys were awaiting a baby so how can we not help with the delivery of the son of a star our organization is so proud of?"

Bruce's eyes were filled with greed and madness as he followed by saying

"I'm pretty sure the baby of our star will become another one as blood does carry talent"

Luo was trembling at this point not knowing what to do or how to save them in time as they might just be in another country

"Just listen to me little Luo and I will make sure to give you Jenna back at least, isn't it a good result"

All the sudden the screen on the other side turned completely white with a booming sound before the connection was cut off.

Boom *TSHH*

"Huh, what happened was there a failure in service?"

Luo looked at the now black screen worried, only to hear someone running in and shouting after that sudden change.

"SIR, it's bad, the lab, t-the lab"

"STOP STUTTERING WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAB"

Bruce held the worker by his shoulder as he rushed him to answer

"T-the lab got leveled by a-a b-bomb"

As he explained, the worker used a remote to change the screen image to show the previous location of the lab now leveled with a deep hole. This also included smoke filling the air.

"W-what, how, what happened, who did it!?"

Bruce was panicking as he looked back at Luo only to find him nowhere to be seen, but when he turned back to look at the screen, he was stunned to find him standing right in front of him.

"W-wait Luo don't b-be hasty let's tal_"

Before Bruce could finish his sentence, his world started filling up as he could see his headless body falling to the ground before everything turned dark.

"NO NEED, I'M DONE TALKING"

That night inside a huge underground military base, screams and the sound of gun shots were filling the air as blood tainted every single stone and a metallic smell filled the air, Luo went on a killing spree not sparing anybody as before it reached midnight the whole base turned so eerily silent with only the sound of a single man's footsteps inside.

Sigh

"And again, despite having the strength of a superman I couldn't even protect the newfound peace I gained, and it's all lost again."

Luo reached outside as he looked up at the moon in the night sky reminiscing about the moment he had with Jenna.

"Another person I couldn't protect how pathetic"

As he was talking with himself, he heard something and looked up at the sky

"Hahahhahahahahahahhaha, I'm really cursed aren't I"

He started laughing hysterically as he spotted a missile closing in on the base where he stood. Although if he tried to run away now, he could most likely survive he didn't feel the need to anymore.

"If there really exists a deity out there who is messing up with me F#ck you!"

He said as he looked at the sky, as in this situation he couldn't help but curse in frustration.

"What First order? I can't even save my wife much less be considered a higher existence"

[That is true, being a First order doesn't make that much difference, does it?]

"WHO?"

Luo suddenly started hearing a weird deep voice as he tried to track it back but to no avail.

[It's useless, I'm inside you, as for who I am, even I don't know, all I know is that I need your help in achieving our goal]

*Pfft*

"So, it is just another leacher trying to use me, well not today as I'm not planning on living any longer"

[You are right, I might be planning to use you, but our goals are probably the same]

"Huh, what do you mean? I've already achieved most of my goals apart from some childish dreams I_"

[No, you are wrong, you didn't finish your revenge]

"If you are talking about these people who bombed us there is no use. I don't actually resent them rather they might've just done me a favour."

[Not them, I mean the real perpetrator who tweaked your fate and cursed you, causing you most of your misfortunes]

"What!?W-what are you talking about?"

[We don't have much time, I will be brief, your life wasn't meant to go on like this, it was the doings of a higher being]

"You m-mean to say somebody actually f#cked my life up, wait is it_"

[What you are thinking is right, in your culture you guys call them ancestors, or maybe gods]

Luo was stunned by the answer as he remained silent processing everything

[I might not know who I am, but I know one thing for sure: I've been with you since the beginning, so Luo will you-]

[Will you become an ancestor or a god, a real one will you become an [Order Keeper]?]

"Before I answer let me ask you, can I get my revenge, and do you know who did this to my life?"

[That depends on you, but I certainly can help you track the perpetrator. So, are you in?]

"I don't really know if this is the right choice, but-"

"LET'S GET IT"

[Good, from now on I shall dedicate my whole existence to you and your will, Oh your majesty, Oh Order Keeper]

Luo was unsure about a lot of stuff as this was so sudden, but he decided to refrain from asking now, and to walk this path on a new journey as he knew that whatever that voice was it was telling him the truth. His conviction strengthened as he started looking around for a way out

'How weird despite us talking all this time not even a second passed by'

"So, how do we get out of this? Even if I sprint at full speed, I won't be able to escape in time from the range of the missile."

[Get ready, the road ahead won't be easy]

"Stop talking too much, and let's move "

[Good, then here we go].

As the ancient voice finished uttering the sentence. Light swallowed Luo leaving no trace of him, just before the missile hit

BOOM

It felt like eternity had passed inside the white light as Luo lost consciousness again and again. He lost track of time as he fell into a deep slumber only to be woken up by the ancient voice.

[Wake up Luo, we have arrived]

Luo groggily got up as he started surveying the surroundings. He was currently inside what seemed like a small underground cave. There were small cracks in the ceiling letting some rays of light through. Once he got a hold of himself, he asked.

"Where are we?"
