‘My train!’Aurora screamed.
She ran to the door but it wasn't a door anymore. Looking around, she was in the market place and that she could tell by the noisiness. On her right she saw two women negotiating a bowl of pearls.Few feet from them, five children were playing with a seashell that glowed .On her left, she saw a man struggling to catch a fish as it tried to swim deep into a big bowl. Beyond him was a woman yelling for a refund. In front of her,she saw people with their luggage just like her and they were lead by a guard towards a large building that looked like a castle. She had travelled along with her dad to different cities but she had never been here before. She followed her heart and it was screaming at her with excitement. She followed suit, she could have found Orben for all she knew. With great hope in her heart she followed them pulling her luggage with her.
When they got into the building Aurora couldn't help but open her mouth in awe. Saying it was beautiful would be an understatement. There were crystals on the ceiling and the walls were made up of tiny pieces of diamond. From outside it looked like a large and normal castle but the inside was magnificent. They walked further into the building and Aurora looked back contemplating whether to stay back or to explore the magnificent looking castle when she saw on the door written in green, ‘Orben College’. Her heart leaped in joy, she had found Orben but she was confused. Since she had started reading the book on Orben she had never read about a college.Looking before her she found that the rest were entering into a door. Excited, she followed them prepared for a real adventure. The door lead into a long hall it looked beautiful also but all the crystals were blue. There were chairs arranged and they all took a seat. She noticed that they all looked expectantly at the stage as if waiting for someone. They all wore a look of happiness and excitement but Aurora was sure she was the most excited out of them all.
‘Good morning students, welcome to Orben College. I am Evelyn the principal of O.C’ she addressed and the crowd clapped.
Aurora's eyes were as round as saucers, she had really found Orben. It felt like a dream and she couldn't wait to see everything Orben had to offer.
‘Without further ado I would like to group you into rooms. In two round bowls at every section are room numbers written in pieces of papers.Indicated on the bowls are the one for girls and the one for boys. You are to pick only a single piece of paper. A room will only contain three students.Immediately you open your piece of paper you will be assigned a fairy. They will only stick to you for a month before the traditional event.Good luck!’ she said and the students hurriedly approached the bowls.
After a lot of pushing, it was finally Aurora’s turn. Her hand grazed the papers and she finally chose one. When she opened it, it read 124. She was expecting those behind her to accuse her of wasting too much time so she looked behind only to find out that she was in a room with three beds and she saw a tiny girl with wings sitting on the bed. Her wings were white with touches of blue, red, yellow, green and purple. She wore a pink dress and had an hair brush in hand. Concluding she was the fairy the principal was talking about she approached her.
‘Hi,I am Aurora,it’s nice to meet you'.
‘Hi,I am Maddie, your fairy. Wow!I love your hair’ the fairy exclaimed admiring her hair.
Aurora had always loved her long blond hair but hearing someone admire it made her happy. She was about to ask who her roommates were going to be when she heard a zap.Looking towards the sound, she saw two girls with their own fairies. One was chubby and short while the other was tall and slender like her.The tall and slender one looked familiar but she couldn't remember where she had seen her before.
‘OH MY GOD!Pi we’re roommates’ the chubby one exclaimed startling Aurora.
‘Don't mind her.I am Pina and she is Beth short for Elizabeth but you an call her either’ the familiar looking girl said stretching forth her hand.Immediately she said her name Aurora remembered. She was the girl who was crying at the train station.
‘I am Aurora,it’s nice to meet you guys’ she said happy that she has a familiar face as a roommate. She just hoped she won't be found out.
‘What is the name of your fairy?’Beth asked her.
‘She is Maddie’Aurora replied gesturing to her fairy who was talking to the other fairies.
‘I guess they are friends already. What are their names?’ Aurora asked with a slight giggle.
‘The one with black and white wings is mine Anna while the one with plain green is Beth’s Spink.’ Pina answered shaking her head at Beth who was jumping on the bed.
‘You guys let’s go for a tour, you have an hour before lunch' Spink said.
They all agreed with Spink and got ready for a quick tour.Coming out of their room door, they were in a long hallway with many doors. The fairies led them down the long hallway and they finally saw a larger door and went through it. It led to another hallway. On the walls on the hallway were pictures. She caught sight of a tall, slender and beautiful woman with a crown on her head and beneath the picture read ‘Queen Emerald’.The name drew Aurora’s attention making her analyze the picture. Her gray orbs staring straight at Aurora’s green ones made Aurora shiver in pain. She didn't know why but she was sure she didn't like it one bit.

‘Aurora we don't have much time’ Maddie called her making her notice that she was zoning out in the middle of the lonely hallway.
‘I am coming’ she replied shaking off the strong feeling and joining the crew.
The fairies led them down another hallway into a hallway with a lot of doors just like the hallway of their rooms.
‘This is where you will take your classes. Every room is for a class. You want a tip?’Spink said gaining the attention of the girls.
‘Any tip will go a long way Spink’ Aurora replied and Beth and Pina nodded in agreement.
‘Classes start by five’she said and they all groaned except for the fairies who just giggled.
Aurora was never a fan of mornings but she could manage, she could learn a little bit of magic and she couldn't mess up in a land or sky for all she knew. She suddenly became scared, her thoughts being that of being caught and killed. They then went through a door and ended up in the principal’s office.
‘How did you do that?’ Beth asked in amazement because the door they went through clearly said ‘Geography’ though Aurora had never heard of it before.
‘We are fairies’ Maddie said and Spink and Anna giggled.
‘Welcome. Please have a seat’ the principal said sternly making them drop their chattering.
When they were seated, Aurora felt eyes staring at her. Out of instinct she looked around quickly only to meet the principal staring at her in concern.
‘Are you okay miss?’ the principal asked with a warm smile.
‘Yes ma’am,I am okay’ she said in a hurry feeling strange.
‘These are your schedules’ the principal said and immediately they were all holding their schedules. They were about to leave when the principal called them back.
‘Just a tip, classes start by five’ she said making the fairies giggle again.
The girls left the principal’s office confused but that was soon replaced by hunger. The smell of delicious delicacies filled the air making their stomach rumble. They were in a large hall with tables and chairs like a cafeteria.
‘Lunch is ready. Go and serve yourself but be sure which colour to pick’ Anna said making Maddie and Spink giggle.
‘YAY!’Beth exclaimed and quickly took a spot on the long queue.
‘Thanks’Pina said awkwardly and went to join the intensively long queue.
Aurora wasn't one that loved food so she took her time looking around the hall.It was the same hall she was in that morning just that now it smelt of food.Taking a spot on the queue she wondered what Anna meant by ‘be sure which colour you pick’.She was brought out of her thoughts when a girl pushed past her to the front of the queue.
‘What is your problem?’ she asked annoyed.
‘Everyone had to wait in line, what was so special about this girl that she couldn't wait also’ she thought. Immediately the words left her mouth, the hall became as silent as a graveyard.
The girl looked back at her with anger but Aurora didn't cower in fear, she stood her ground.
‘What did you say?’ the girl asked approaching Aurora.
‘Sorry please what did you say? I heard something like, sorry I have a bad eyesight so I couldn't see the queue’ she retorted fuming.
‘Looks like the new miss doesn’t know her place. Would you like to have tea in my dungeons with the lions?’ the girl replied with a smirk.
Immediately the words left her mouth, Aurora felt like cold water was poured all over her.She was talking to the princess who could have her thrown out with the snap of her fingers.
‘I am sorry your highness’ she quickly apologized with a bow. She had found Orben and she still had many things on her list that she wanted to see.
‘I may accept your apology if you were on your knees’ the girl replied with a sweet voice.
Helpless, Aurora knelt down very aware of various pairs of eyes on her.
‘I am sorry your highness’ she said her head down in shame.
‘You look better on your knees’ the girl said and stormed off.
Immediately she left, the hall came alive. People looked at her with pity, spite and some joy. Standing, she saw Maddie looking at her with a worried expression.
‘Maddie please take me to my room’ she told Maddie.
‘I am so sorry Aurora’ Maddie said using her tiny hand to pat her back.
Soon she was in her room and the bed looked inviting. Laying on it, she fell into an eventful sleep.
