‘The colours are so confusing.Yesterday I chose red.It was so spicy I couldn't eat it at all.Today I want to go for either blue or green’Beth said telling Aurora about her lunch the day before.

Aurora wasn't a big fan of food, she always ate whatever her nanny gave her.Her nanny Stacy loved her food spicy making Aurora a fan.

‘I think I will go for red’ Aurora said hoping not to run into the princess.She had come to hate crossing paths with princess Autumn but her luck seemed to be running out.

The queue was just as long as the last.She was almost at the front of the line and she hadn’t seen any sign of the princess which lifted her mood.She was still thinking how much of a mess it will be if she ran into the princess when she heard clicking of heels. The principal walked towards her with a look on her face that made Aurora wonder if she had been found out.

‘Miss Aurora,I heard you earned yourself a badge. I hope you continue, you may be selected to visit the palace’ the principal said and that earned her Aurora’s attention.

‘I see you are very interested in visiting the palace.Just earn five badges in the next two weeks.The queen allows five students to visit the palace before the Abadi festival’the principal said with a small laugh and walked away.

Aurora heart sank. She had read about the traditional Abadi festival. It was a festival where the young adults were classified according to the powers they possess. She would be found out at the festival but she hoped she would live to tell the real story of Orben.She was determined to find the reason the town disappeared during the next one months. She couldn't help but wonder how beautiful the palace will be. She was still deep in thought when she was at the front of the line.

‘Miss what colour would you like?’ a fat lady asked her.

‘Red’ she answered and the fat lady placed a red tube on a plate and handed it to her.

Confused she took her plate and went to sit with her friends conscious of various eyes on her.

‘What do I do with the tube?’ she asked looking at their plates containing actual food.

‘All you have to do is press the tube’ Beth said pressing the tube. After pressing the tube the plate glowed, the tube disappeared and left was a plate of steaming spicy porridge just the way she liked it. She was extremely hungry because she has skipped lunch and dinner yesterday. Digging in, she couldn't help but praise the school, they had excellent cooks. She was still relishing her lunch when she heard hushed voices.

Wondering who they were talking about, she looked around and she instantly regretted it. Princess Autumn was coming towards her like a child whose candy was stolen.Aurora sat in self pity wondering what the princess had to do with her again.

‘You earned my badge today but I will make sure you never get any badges again.You want to visit the palace,just wait till I throw you out of Orben’ princess Autumn said in her ear, anger evident in her voice.

Aurora was about to apologise when the warning bell rang.The hall buzzed to life as the students hurried to get to class early. Aurora also stood up along with Beth and Pina and were about to hurry to class when she tripped over something and fell flat on her face.

‘You look better on the ground because that is where you belong’ she heard princess Autumn say before scurrying off.Aurora sighed, there was no way they could make it to class on time.

‘Good morning students,I am Rider Tulip and I will be teaching you guys Economics’

Surprised she looked around her, she saw Beth and Pina look at her in confusion as well, they were in the classroom.She was still wondering how when she saw wings fly past her.

‘The fairies’ she thought as a smile played on her lips.

‘Thank you’ she mouthed and they all nodded in reply.
