Somewhere in space, there once was a planet, Full of nothing. Nothing but water that is.
Some would say it's a dead planet because there is no life. But that'll change eventually. After eons and eons. Something appears to be living on the dead planet.
A microscopic speck of life. That still can't be called interesting. eons after the first sign of life the world is blooming with life. Creatures of all sizes roam the world.
On this planet, a tiny egg somewhere in the unknown depths of the water hatches with hundreds of thousands of others. Squid eggs they were.
The one tiny egg hatches into a tiny squid, this squid had hatched with an intellect far higher than other creatures, this squid, in particular, knew a lot from birth. Why? May god know.
Swim! is the first thing that pops up in my head. Just swim, swim far away. Try not to get eaten.
I had woken up to a feast, not meant for me. My brothers and sisters were getting torn apart. The world is scary, I'm scared, very, very scared. Life is scary.
I swim between my brothers and sisters and manage to escape to a little cave in a big underwater cliff. There's enough space in the cave for me to hide. I think I'm safe, at least I hope that I'm safe.
Wrong! I was very wrong! Swim, swim once again with your tiny body. I can feel the pain of my arms being ripped off. Is this the end? Am I gonna die so shortly after being born?
No! I don't want to die, not so soon! While thinking this a burning sensation spreads inside of me, telling me what to do. I know what I need to do, I have to fight to survive in this world. I turn around and dash towards the eel-like creature's right eye, the creature didn't expect me to turn around and fight it. It has a particular look in its eye that I don't like. Its the look in its eyes switch from shock to condescension in a matter of seconds.
It dodges my attack with ease and it bites off more tentacles, it even rips one of my arms off. Once again, stupid me dashes towards it trying to hit its eyes. I missed again and it ripped off my other arm. Pain fills my body and I hate myself for being weak, I'm weak, I don't want to be weak! My last chance, this is my last chance. The creature dashes to me wanting to finish me off but with all the energy I have left I manage to hit its eye, I drill myself inside of its eye, not knowing if it's dead or not everything goes black.
Waking up I still feel the pain, at least that means that I'm alive. While stretching my tentacles and arms that have regrown again, I drill out of the creature's corpse. Observing the corpse I notice that it has a very long body covered in slime. I can't help but feel a little powerful looking at the corpse. Should I eat it? What if it's poisonous? Let's hope it's not. I open my beak and start eating the creature. After taking a couple of bites of its flesh my body starts to itch all over and my instinct tells me to float as still as possible. A large shark head blasts open the cave I am in, grabbing the large eel-like creature in the process. It looks around and doesn't see me for some reason.

Why didn't it see me? Because of my inborn trait of camouflaging. Just before the shark broke into the cave I managed to reflect the light pulses and make it seem as if I was the water. How do I know how to do this? I myself am not sure either.
After making sure that the shark is gone and that I'm safe for real this time. I swim to the cave exit and go outside. What I see outside is stunning. There is life everywhere small, big, huge and enormous creatures everywhere.
I stop looking at the scenery and think of my priority. food, I still need food I'm still hungry those couple of bites out of the eel-like creature weren't enough for me so I decided that I need to hunt. While camouflaging myself I dash through the water in search of tiny creatures that I can eat. The creatures seem to become tinier and tinier the lower I go. So down it is. It's getting darker and darker, the pressure is going up too, luckily for me, I can withstand the pressure because of my body. My body's made out of muscle and has no bones. As for how I know this? Once again I don't know. After some time I get deep enough and all the creatures around me are tinier than me.
While laughing I dash towards the closest creature I open my beak and swallow it. More, I need more food. I keep repeating this way of hunting for the next couple of hours until I'm full.
I need a place to rest. The creatures are getting tinier the further down I go. I think I'm going to go even deeper down and see if I can find a safe place to rest.
This was a bad choice! I think while rushing away from the giant beak that is trying to swallow me. I went down and down but I didn't think that I'd find a giant mutated squid that would try and eat everything me!? I can feel it again, coming very close. The embrace of death. Why!? Why!!! Why does this have to happen to me?!? Does this world want me dead? Why would it want me dead? Why, Why, Why, Why, What have I done wrong? Was it wrong to kill that eel-like creature? Is this why I'm going to die now? The giant squid is so freaking close to me! Swim, swim my little body!
One minute, two, three, four on and on it goes. It is playing with me. Letting me feel pathetic. It has succeeded I feel pathetic, weak, I don't want to die, but I can't beat it. My life will end here and I know that it will.
Why can't I have any luck!
at last, the beak opens and closes and I'm gone. Everything goes black.
