Moving, why is everything moving? Where am I? Everything is pitch black. What happened? Remember, I have to remember. I was swimming down to find a resting place, a safe place.

The giant squid! I was swallowed and I can still think, that must mean, that I'm still alive! I didn't die! Take that you giant squid! Can't even kill a little squid like me! You're the one that's pathetic.

Then the realization pops in, I'm stuck inside of it.

How am I gonna get out? I can't tear my way outside since I don't have any teeth and my beak is probably not strong enough.

Although I don't know for sure, bite my beak bite! That didn't work sadly enough.

I may have to go back the way up I came, well I'll try to because I don't want to go down, everything but that.

After looking around I find two holes, one above me and one under me. I've also found out what kind of substance I'm in.

Stomach acid, it worries me that I can swim in this kind of substance without it corroding me. It helps in this situation and it isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Anyways I'll try and get out now. Going up in three, two, one dash!

Wait, what are those pointy things? Is that a tooth? Why the hell would there be a tooth in a stomach?

There seems to be more than one, what's happening? Oh, great mother of god the stomach is getting torn apart isn't it? There's no time, I have to act fast.

I dash to the hole above me and enter it. A couple of seconds later I burst out of some unknown body part and immediately dash upwards.

No looking back I don't want to know whose teeth those were.

After dashing at full speed for what seemed years, the surrounding starts to become lighter. I've made it back to the light part again and what surprises me is that there is a big reef in front of me.

How far did I swim?

It also seems that the abyss, that's what I decided to call it, is everywhere. That's a good thing.

I swim towards the reef and start looking around. It's all so peaceful, everything seems to live together in harmony.

Maybe I can live here?

I still need a place I can call home and it's probably safe here. Better safe than sorry though.

I dash around making sure it's safe. It all seems safe no large monster eels, no big squids or big toothed creatures.

There are also places I can live, I found some while checking the safety.

There's this big large dome of coral, a crack in the stone that leads to a tiny cave and there's also a huge hole in the middle of the reef region.

I don't think that I'll need a big space so the huge hole is a no go, the reef dome is way too huge for me too.

The only place that's left is the tiny cave. I'll call that home then, for as long as I can.

The surrounding waters are becoming darker and darker, night has arrived. Time to rest. I'll take one more look around to check the safety.

Wait, colors, colors are appearing everywhere. Not the normal colors that the reef shows but even brighter, Purple, red, green, pink and more, all sorts of colors are coming out of the reef and rising up.

What is happening? Hide, is the first thing that comes to mind. I need to hide, this seems unnatural, why would a reef release colors?!

I dash to into the crack of the little cave and stay at the entrance watching the outside.

The colors keep moving and they don't seem to be disappearing. Watch, I need to keep watching, something inside of me is telling me to keep watching.

Suddenly a shock goes through my soul. I know what these colors are! They are natures laws! They are the purest, most basic forms of everything!

These laws can be learned and used to master the things they represent!

I need to act fast if I want to have a chance at mastering a law, I need to absorb some of these particles. What's the closest particle, this scene might end at any time.

White! I dash to the white particle at the fastest speed I can manage, headfirst I hit the white particle and am able to get it into my body, what I didn't imagine was that I'd hit the particle behind it too.

It's a black powerless feeling particle, I don't think it's going to be of much help.

I need to try and comprehend the particle now, before it disappears, into my cave it is. After entering the cave I start floating in the middle of it and enter a sleep-like state.

White, what could white be associated with? Neutrality? Could it be a neutral law? that seems too unlikely. Think! You stupid squid, think with the brains you got.

You're at least one and a half meters long, your brains aren't that tiny, right?

What is white associated with!!! What is it?!

Wait, white, reflecting? It reflects heat! What more does it reflect? Light, it reflects light. How does it do that though? Maybe, it's representing light? Wait! No! Why, why did it disappear already?

Why is it gone I was on the verge of comprehending it!

I open my eyes and fury can be seen within them. Stupid me. How fucking dumb can you be?

This is making me so damn mad! First I get born, chased away and attacked by a mother fucking eel, then I get eaten by my own kind, scared to death by something ripping the giant squid open and now,

when I'm on the verge of comprehending a law of nature the particle disappears! How fucking unlucky can I be?!

Once again I close my eyes trying to calm myself down but it doesn't seem to help at all, then something hits my mind.

Black, it's all black, shadows, the black particle! It represents shadows! The law of shadows! I comprehended a law! I did it! I can feel the particle integrating itself into me, becoming a part of me.

Wait... This law... Only works with the law of light... I can't use it.
