3 Children

3 children were sitting on a log by a bank, one of them looked up to the pale blue sky and said:"Will you commit murder with me?" His smile was innocent, but his eyes said otherwise. They were filled with much sorrow and pain. He stood up on the log, balanced himself, looked up the sky once again for a brief moment and looked down. He stretched out his hands and asked yet again:"commit murder with me?" He suggested and cutely tilted his head a bit.

The other 2 children, were aged as young as him. But they'd seen much more than a child they're age should have ever witnessed. They've witnessed sorrow, anger, joy, corruption, unfairness and pain as well. The two young boys that were sitting down on the brown rotting log got up. They'd kneeled on the fresh, moist earth and took his hand, a boy for each. Kissed the top of it and replied:"Anything, for you." They didn't bother of the future, all that mattered was the present. The dark haired boy that stretched out his hands was after all, their saviour.

In this pitch-black, never ending abyss. He was their light, their joy. Everything and anything belonged to him and him only.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

2 weeks later, 3 boys were reported to be dead. Each held each other hand in hand. The dark haired one was embraced by two other boys about his age. They were brothers, closer to each other than any siblings, they were reported. A puddle of red liquid surrounded them but it wasn't blood, the liquid formed around them and reflected their pure selves. The scene was beautiful, like water nymphs, they looked like nature, fast asleep. Very unfortunate incidents had happened to them throughout their lives. A man laid close by them, dead as well. Was it their father? He had a fat and unruly appearance, his head held a deep cut and he a broken wine bottle was found in hand. Poison was found in each their bloodstreams. They'd committed a murder to both themselves and the man.

A letter had been found close by and part of it read, '...forever and ever. The end.' The beginning of the letter could not be covered due to the red liquid that had stained it. Perhaps it was a story, one with an ending they'd always hoped for but it reached out far; unattainable.
