Tracy looked at him and affirmed it, he got angry " what the fuck did they say? and do you know who said it?" Tracy replied " they said our marriage wouldn't last, that am not your type, and am a pig, fat, ugly girl and you'll divorce me because you like a certain Adrianne " she said bluntly, also a little hurt and upset, Marcus looked at her carefully before he answered "you might not be my type a few months ago but you are now, just you, perfect, not Adrianne or anyone else, and remember when I said if I were to fall in love with you I might not let you go , I meant it" he said it with all sincerity, Tracy didn't know what to say, is he insinuating that he's actually falling for her, but she doesn't want what happened between her and Jace to repeat itself again, she barely got out of that, as if he can read her mind he answered " when I love someone, there's no one else that can get in between not even your ex or mine, am quite possessive with my woman" that cut the last straw of denial for Tracy " did clay tell you about him" she asked and he nodded his head "if that bastard hadn't done what he did to you, them you wouldn't have been with me, his lost" Tracy blinked twice, who could have guessed that this man, Marcus Hillary could say things like this and get her wanting him badly, she looked over at him smiling " thank you" she got up from the couch and said " my door will be opened tonight husband".

Five months later

Tracy is as heavy as an elephant, she couldn't believe a month from now she'll be having their baby, and Marcus has been a supportive husband through and through, ever since he confessed his feelings towards her, she did the same letting go of her past, and forgetting all about Jace, what more could a lady wish for? Although the contract with Marcus still stands, but will she be able to let go of this wonderful man? She thought, but he did tell her once if he falls in love, he won't let go, and this past month he has shown her nothing but love, but is it all just an illusion? You don't look so happy" he said concerned " nothing, really" she took a bite from the cake " well I have something to say, when our baby comes and the one year contract is over" he said kneeling down at her feet while he stared at her, i want us to get married for real" Tracy didn't know what to say, how can he be this sweet, like he knew exactly what's in her head, tears started rolling down her face, maybe it was the pregnancy hormones but she doesn't care, Marcus wiped the tears from her face as she said to him " I've learned to love and appreciate you Marcus, thanks for everything and I promise to be a good wife, and show you kindness as you have shown me" he put his forehead on hers closed his eyes and said " I'll hold you accountable for what you just said, no going back Mrs Hillary, I love you" and he kissed her.
