Chapter 1: History in the Chronological Order (Introduction to the 7 Eras.)

It should be noted that the contents of this book are from the perspective and accumulated knowledge of past Historians and Scholars.

This is an abridged version and may contain similarities and differences relative to other History Books of the same subject matter.

The Era of Beginning: Thanks to recently-excavated fossils, monoliths, and bones((295 Years ago)(Year 389 of the 6th Era), it is hypothesized that mankind, as in-specifically- humans, did not exist in the Era of Beginning. The bones found buried deep beneath an erupted volcano in the Western Continent do not resemble that of humans but that of long extinct beasts and half-forgotten Races such as the Silver Elves.

Presumably, the Era of Beginning was when Gods and Devils first appeared. However, little is known about the reason behind the end of such a glorious era, though some Scholars from the fallen Tha’keh City did come up with several plausible causes. Notably, and the most common of them was the possibility of a war betwixt the Twelve Creations Gods.

It is precisely in this Era that the Twelve Creations Gods made use of their Creation Magic to give form to concepts, which would later become reality. Stars, worlds, and even entire galaxies were made manifest after meticulous work and well-deserved sacrifice of power.

The countless known forms of energies, be it Mana, Qi, Nether Energy, or pure Elemental Laws... All of them were confirmed to be the doing of the aforementioned Gods. They were undoubtedly the origin of everything in existence. However, some few resolutely affirm that there was, and still may be, a higher power and that, beyond the visible universe, there is another separate dimension. Then again, such baseless speculations were ultimately never proved true or wrong.

Although the number is not precise, the Era of Beginning is believed to have lasted for approximately 666,800 Years.

The First Era: Many of my colleagues and friends confuse this Era with the Era of Beginning, thinking that they are one and the same. However, that could not be farther from the truth as the two ages were confirmed to be entirely separate, but the similarities between the two, and the fact that one precedes the other could potentially warrant such confusion.

The First Era heralded the coming of myriad Races, including Humans, as well as the proper formation and stabilization of the four known universes: The Omega Universe, the Cloud Sea Universe, the Heaven and Hell Universe, and the X-TR500 Universe.

Be not mistaken, however, for in spite of their odd names, these four ‘regions’ are not literally universes, but vast, almost boundless, expanses that could very well be named Universes despite the fact that they are not.

(In essence, Existence itself, or- to be precise- the Universe, encompasses all four and is one massive cosmos, for want of a better word)

It is in this Era, when almost everything has been evenly divided and named stars and worlds became known and populated.

The Six Creation Gods born from Primordial Light, and the Six Creation Gods born from Darkness had separated themselves, each holing in one place or another. Some preferred to spread their influence and others were content with creating their own ‘perfect’ Race and bringing prosperity to it.

The First Era lasted for approximately 224,000 Years.

The Second Era: The Races divided themselves due to their differences, either in terms of appearance, prowess, cultures, or beliefs and values.

Mighty Gods reigned supreme and established worlds of their own, subsequently gaining believers. Humans, especially, migrated to the Cloud Sea Universe and the X-TR500 Universe. Demons, Devils, as well as their counterpart Angels and Spirits, occupied the Heaven and Hell Universe, deeming it as the necessary and appropriate place for their home and existence.

Elves, pixies, dwarves, fairies, mermaids, orcs, goblins… the majority of the sentient races were scattered throughout the cosmos. Still, the Gods and Titans were the rulers and had innumerable worshippers.

Excluding their creators, the Gods and Titans were the peak of existence; Unfathomably powerful celestial entities, capable of weaving space itself and unleashing powers beyond measure.

If the first Era is ‘The Foundation’, then the Second Era is ‘The Prosperity’.

This Era lasted for approximately 481,500 Years

The Third Era: Another well-heeled Era that, unfortunately, ended tragically: By then, over half of the celestial beings were killed by warring against each other for territories or opposing beliefs or contrasting powers. Their battles brought only ruin, death, and devastation to their worlds and those beyond, even.

The most notable thing, however, was the complete and utter annihilation of the Omega Universe. It remains unknown what or who caused a catastrophe on such a cosmological scale, and though many assume that its destruction was the consequence of the warring Gods and Titans, I, personally, think that their incessant bloodshed was not enough to cause such ruination.

The end of the Omega Universe, which, unlike the other three, was one enormous world, the biggest that ever existed since the dawning of Time, had caused irreparable damage and disastrous consequences. It is said that the fabric of existence was split apart, thus resulting in the advent of oblivion; The Void.

The Third Era approximately lasted for 97,000 Years.

The 4th Era(commonly named the Void Era): There exists an uncountable number of theories and speculations regarding the cause of the influx of Void, that which devoured and consumed everything in its wake, be it Gods, Titans, or even stars and worlds. By far, the most plausible theory is that the untimely annihilation of the Omega Universe had rent existence itself asunder, thus welcoming the undiscriminating doom upon all lives.

The Void erased, or better say, consumed, many civilizations and led to the extinctions of multitudinous races, such as the once-prosperous Gods and Titans.

* Void Energy has the unique ability to devour all forms of creations, whether it is energies, corporeal or incorporeal entities, or matter itself. It can also negate anything thrown at it, therefore rendering it the most powerful of all creation. Undeniably, Void is absolute.

The Void Era was the longest of Eras and practically halted the ever-spreading opulence of the greedy celestial entities. Most, if not all civilizations fled to the farthest reaches of the cosmos, seeking refuge in regions rumored to be relatively safe. With fear and trepidation, they waited for oblivion to pass: The weak and unprepared, the ignorant and helpless, the malformed creations and Races… everything and everyone chose to flee rather than face the Void for there was nothing that could stop it. In fact, not even the Creation Gods themselves were capable of such a feat.

However, there were always exceptions to the rule, there were several entities capable of traversing the vast expanse without fearing the Void, and though they didn’t know how to stop it, they had the means to resist, to a degree at least.

Amongst those relevant entities, the Titans were the most stubborn. Thanks to their large bodies and unrivaled resistance to Magic(in general), they attempted to fight back. Alas, their folly subsequently led to the birth of the Void Spawn. What was first presumed to be a crashing wave of unstoppable Void, was later discovered that the Void itself was somewhat sentient, enough to imitate the Titans’ magic and slowly learn.

The Void learnt how to create beings fundamentally made using Void Energy but with the addition of Creation Magic or other forms of energies.

That, was how the Titans knew deepest despair and were ultimately erased from existence. By the time the Void Era had passed, barely a handful of Titans survived.

The Void Era lasted approximately 891,750 Years.*

The 5th Era: It was the Era of Recovery and survival, an age dominated by normality and unshakable stillness. Celestial Beings became scarce and no longer as active as before, preferring to remain in their domain. The Humans and a number of other races established a foothold after the unseen devastation wrought by the Void. Excluding minor skirmishes and inconsequential wars betwixt opposing Races, this era was relatively 'peaceful', but that was only due to an overwhelmingly rising power, one that surprisingly first appeared in the Void Era.

The Arman Empire, an unprecedented nation that reached its peak after the Void had passed. A nation that relied on Magic and technology to produce miraculous results, be it unbreakable and explosive artillery meant for conquest, or self-sufficient machines that empowered entire cities and provided protection and stability.

This empire, which spanned across the three remaining universes, was ruled by Humans… a specific kind of humans, on which there is little to no information. Only when they had seen the humans’ limitless potential for evolution did Gods and Devil grow wary and fearful. No longer did they act arrogant or force themselves… instead, they contented with their normality and forsake glory and honor for peace and stasis.

The 5th Era lasted for approximately 197,700 Years.

The 6th Era: This is our current Era and it has yet to be done, fortunately. By the time I’m writing this, we are at year 684.

Nothing lasts forever, such was the case with the Gods and such was the case with the Arman Empire. It fell from glory and its fall was slow and saddening to see. Its capital was razed to the ground by one individual and, consequently, its other cities were either sieged or suffered from societal collapse.

In the wake of the 6th Era, several factions and powers resurfaced and, at last, there was a semblance of balance and peace. The three Universes were ‘divided’, and each was ruled by a large collection of entities. For instance, the X-TR500 Universes is mainly managed and ruled by what many call ‘The System’, a wide-spread Artificial Intelligence, the very same one that greatly assisted in the collapse of the Arman Empire and later eradicated any ruins of the fallen nation, preferring to let its technology be buried beneath the rivers of time.

Notes

* When the Omega Universe was destroyed, there was but one survivor. A crazy human with an unknown name, a notorious individual known by many, many titles. It is said that his power rivals that of the Creation Gods, someone that, apparently, uses a simple Deck of cards to demonstrate what, from his infamous proclamation, magic truly is: The Godslayer, the Joker, the Trickster, the Magician, those were some of his titles...

* It remains unknown and unverified why or how the Void had passed or disappeared.

* Amongst the Twelve Creations Gods, it is rumored that three of them are dead, two are missing, and the rest’s whereabouts are unknown.
