True to his Words, in the Study are various Books.
I don’t know if someone really wrote a book with the Titles “Lowest Level Basics of Berry Farming for Dummies.” or Arceus created it.
Both are bizarre, but for my own Sanity, I don’t consider that a god-like existence seriously studied on how to Pluck Berries.
With Hands. On the other Hand, the Book is well written, explaining things in an easy to understand manner and the Illustrations also aren’t that hard to understand. Some books depict pictures were one can’t really make heads or heels what is depicted wenn one isn’t already knowledgable in that area.
There is also lightly touched on why it is so, but only in keywords, which would make it easier to search for the topic without gaining half-baked Knowledge.
Overall, the Book is great. Something truly made for beginners.
I only skimmed over most the information for now.
Even the table of contents is very well made, making it easily distinguishable what gives information on what to watch out and were what is explained.
The Book is definitely worth a complete read.
Especially since there are exercises and tips on healthcare mentioned, which one should follow for a comfortable farming Life.
“Bulbasaur, would you help me out?”
”Ba?”
”Picking some Berries, some seem already ripe.”
”Bulba!”
Without further Delay, both of them made their Way.
The Study is in the second Floor, on the first is a Storage Room.
In the Storage Room they found some Baskets, big enough that they probably wouldn’t need more then two to get todays Haul.
Sabrina also noted Basket which can be carried in the Back, still woven and with the Hole on top.
And a bag, being able to be slung over one shoulder and be at hip height in the other.
The Design is like a cute drawing of Eevee, while the inside has many doodle-like Pokemon pictures.
Weird, she has the feeling to have seen more Pokémon’s on the side then the side of the Bag should be able to hold with its reasonable pacing.
Probably the pseudo Bag of Holding mentioned in the Booklet.
With two Hand-held Basket at one Hand, the the carried by Vines, they made their Way to the little Plantation for the berries.
The Trees have some space in between, most to high to reasonable reach them.
She could probably go for most low hanging Pecha Berries, with something to stand on most Nanab Berries.
Nanab Berry Tree looks like it couldn’t decide between being a fruit tree or a palm, as it doesn’t branch as often as the other trees, and the branches also have more rarely branches.
But on every end a wide shade forms, as palm like leaves circle around it, even when smaller then real palm trees.
Sabrina has the feeling it has more to do with the fact that the Tree is comparatively small to an actual palm.
Only now notices Sabrina that she is even a good bit tall.
While a good bit older then twelve or thirteen, she was still sixteen years old in her past world.
But the height difference isn’t big enough to confuse her.
At least not completely, but she is still smaller than before.
Anyway, Sitrus, Lum and Hondew Trees are too big for her to reach any Fruit.
Maybe when she has one of those tiny platforms to step on for children, she could reach lowest ones.
This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author's consent. Report any appearances on Amazon.
But when her sight isn’t deceiving her, or the book, then they still need a bit before being completely ripe.
So she turns her Attention to the most numerous and easiest to harvest, Oran Berry.
Even though she is pretty sure, they to, were growing on trees, here, they grow on bushes.
It could be she is mistaken, but Sabrina believes there was an Episode Pokemon were they plucked berries, Oran Berries for one, and somehow angered some Pokemon?
The details are blurry, but technical, in the Pokemon of her old world, ten year old could harvest them.
But she also played Legends:Arceus, and there were berry trees that had to be shaken by Pokemon.
On the other Hand, every tree looked the same.
Well, maybe she shouldn’t compare Anime, Game and Reality, just being thankful for the plentiful harvest of Berries.
Since Every Bush has more fruits then the biggest Tree, while being placed closer together, making it even more berries for the same Space.
Wait, do Berries grow on Trees?
No, stupid. Cherries are Berries. Or are they? Weren’t they drupes or something?
Which doesn’t actually mean anything, being a drupe and a berry shouldn’t be mutually exclusive.
Or are they? Ahhhh, that’s the Problem with School!
We learn what kind of unicellular is what and why and so on, how worms live and so on, but things one would actually need in live are something one needs to find out themself!
What do they expect? That I will one day be able to see the smallest kind of creature in existence and then having Problems identifying them?
*Deep Breathing*
”Bulb?”
”Sorry, just kinda got of track. I should just pick Berries.”
Carefully, she plucks the Oran Berries.
Not much needed to do so.
Just pull them off, no trying of imbalanced force pulling them or twisting it off.
They come of easily and are sturdy enough for a berry that even a bit more grip strength won’t crush them.
Probably related to what Professor Oak said about the Berries also having some of the Mystic Energy like Pokemon.
A single piece can lie comfortably in the Hand.
While not entirely boring, even a bit serene, Sabrina’s thought again began to wander around.
Magnemite. She would like to go to the Power Plant if possible.
Catching one there feels a bit special and much more guaranteed then going along the paths.
Even Pikachu, Grimer and Voltorb, Electabuzz, plus evolution would be there to find.
But there are multiple catches to it.
First is Zapdos. Not going to provoke a legendary bird.
Second is, it’s an abandoned place with still running Machinery.
If that doesn’t sound like it’s filled with electric hazards, then she doesn’t know what is.
Last is, Voltorb and Electrode. In the Anime, they showed an Behaviour of exploding when provoked.
Dangerous, Self-Destruction and Explosion was it? Explosion is better but needs an higher Level for acquisition or something.
And then there is the hidden Ability of them, which fits them to a T.
Aftermath only damages someone by physical contact, but I am not so optimistic to think it won’t explode when beaten.
It can just be that the radius is so small, which is why it has that mechanic.
Abilities. There is Damp, blocking Self-Destruction and Explosion, also Aftermath if someone has it.
Lightning Rod protects the Pokemon from Lightning Damage while redirecting it.
But if the Voltorb’s and Electrode don’t explode, then I don’t see myself having much of a chance.
I believe those two not only used lighting attacks, but various other attacks using its ball like bodies and sound-based ones.
Ah, it’s nice to chew out a Problem to distract oneself, but I won’t be going, no matter what I think I have as an Solution.
First, it’s still super risky, I already will need two Pokémon’s for there ability to not get overrun by Voltorb and Electrode, not considering the other living there.
And supposedly, I could have a short meeting with Zapdos, a Pokemon with a permanent pissed Visage.
Rimer and there Poison, Magnemite, Pikachu, Electabuzz. Yeah, sounds tough.
Well, a Pokemon with Lightning Rode would probably be Rhyhorn, a Ground/Stone type.
It actually wouldn’t be a bad fit for the Power Plant. But still, I should stop thinking about it.
”Bulbasaur!”
