Scoot tries to call Ana, who at first ignores him, getting into Mr. Bianchi's car, along with Justin, they are on their way to the Hospital, he sighs visibly upset:

“Pfff, damn it, things have gotten out of hand, this is going to push me further away from Ana...I need to fix this!”

Scoot goes home to the family lawyer, his father Mr. Howard is at home waiting for him in his office, visibly very angry, as soon as Scoot enters the office, he tries to say something, but is interrupted by an object being thrown at him, it's a glass bottle, he ends up dodging the bottle that breaks in the door, flying glass shards everywhere, and ends up hurting his arm, the lawyer explains:

“I've done as agreed, but we probably won't escape the lawsuit that the Beckers will file against the Howards”

Mr. Howard, still furious, says:

“Damn them, that's all the reason they needed to screw me, Scoot you bastard, how can you do something without my consent?”

Scoot remains quiet, but his eyes show the anger he is feeling at the moment, his countenance is closed and serious, when the lawyer speaks again:

Mr. Howard seems to soften his countenance now, he smiles and says:

“Hmn, that doesn't sound so bad now, I can even congratulate you Scoot, finally your recklessness has done some good!”

The lawyer makes his final comment:

“He just can't die my Lord, because they could expel Scoot from the Awakening Test, he'd be breaking the law that you can't hurt your rival...”

Mr. Howard interrupted him:

“Quiet, I know that very well, but no one would dare expel you, because I finance the DSO, they wouldn't dare lose their benefactor, and by the way smile Scoot, I don't like that look on your face...”

Scoot takes a deep breath, and gives a slight smile, as he says goodbye leaving the office, he thinks to himself as he looks at his bleeding arm, he looks in the hallway mirror, he sees some bruises on his face, and some on his body, he ends up punching the mirror which breaks, hurting his hand now:

Hours pass, and Luke is now in surgery, with a large clot in his head, on his left side, the doctors are doing everything they can to make his condition stable, Ana and Justin arrive at the hospital accompanied by their father Mr. Bianchi, and are soon joined by Mr. Han Becker, who is still waiting. Han Becker, who is still waiting in the waiting room for the surgery to finish. As soon as Justin gets close to his father Mr. Han, he looks distraught and still feels very guilty, but Mr. Han hugs him and asks him to stay calm, still hoping that everything will go well and Luke will return to normal.
