Arc 2 [Chapter 1]

Arc 2 [Chapter 1]

The sound of birds chirping.

The smells of salty air and pleasant vanilla enter my nose as I breathe it in.

Twigs brush against the leaves as the strong yet gentle breeze blow. A sense of prickly grass grazes my skin as I move my hand to rub my eyes. I blink my eyes, adjusting to the light, and finally able to see the clear blue sky. The sun gently rests its warm rays upon my skin from head to toe while behind me I feel the damp earth and prickly grass.

I raise my upper torso and take a seat on the ground. Before my very eyes, the sight of abundance greenery from trees to bushes and a variety of flowers. The sound of water rippling caught my attention, I turn my head and see the large blue lake beside me. The calm lake reflects the sky above, making it one of the most beautiful sights I ever see.

On that very reflection, I see something odd. A small floating island, I look at it in disbelief, but there it is, right before my eyes.

Where am I?... Who am I? I try to search for an answer of any kind inside of my mind, and I found none, no memories whatsoever. I brush my fingers against my face, feeling a smooth sensation, sculpted chin, and soft lips.

"Wait, that's not right—I think." My eyes widen.

I crawl closer to the body of water to see my reflection. A sense of awe hit me as I stare at a reflection of a beautiful woman with modest breasts, almond skin, muscular yet feminine body shape, and long brunette hair. Why am I surprised by it?

The weirdness doesn't end here, my clothes also have changed, I'm wearing a white linen shirt with short sleeves and long pants, but no shoes. My golden eyes blink a couple of times while I run my fingers through my long brunette hair. I lean back and rest my soft butt on the ground.

I lift my left arm to show off my bicep, and my eyes widen again when the muscle bulge. I try touching it with a finger and feel the hard muscle inside of it then I bring my hand down.

Sighing, I place my hand against my belly, "No way!"

I lift the bottom of my shirt and see the rock-hard abs underneath it. I let out another sigh and fall back to the soft grass. My tongue keeps tasting salty air.

"Salty air... floating island... I'm on a floating island myself, aren't I?" Even my voice sounds feminine.

"I may have to confirm that later."

The word "Floating island" keeps drifting inside my mind, and I try to focus on it. Maybe I can find information about it, but a throbbing headache spread throughout my brain as thousand or millions of information burst out at the same time. However, there is a single name that keeps on appearing inside my mind.

"Adrestia."

I clear my head and try to catch my breath while my eyes widen in shock at how painful it was. The information is weird, every single one of them is just that 'information, it has no context on how I know them or where they originated. It's like I'm accessing all of the computer files at the same time.

"Adrestia." The same painful headache strikes me again.

"Calm down, relax... try not to think about it. It's just a name, nothing more, nothing less."

The same throbbing headache slowly dissipates until my mind becomes clearer than water, "Woo..."

I wipe the sweat away from my forehead, then misplace my hand on my breast, I move my hand away startle then I glance right and left, making sure that there is no one in sight.

Then I squeeze it gently at first with a hand, "So firm yet so soft, shouldn't I know what it feels like since I'm a woman?"

Afterward, I place another hand on my other breast and start squeezing harder and harder. Something begins to harden on the tip of my busts, and I feel something tingly happening below under my pants.

I unconsciously let out a moan when my finger slide underneath my pant, "Aaah aah..."

"Stop right there, me! This not some kind of weird kinky dream that I'm currently having." I move my hands away from my body and stand up from the ground.

"I need to find answers because I have no idea who I am or where I am, and I'm probably sure everything that is happening here is 100% real."

I stare at the floating island again in disbelief, "Or 80 % percent real."

Twirling my body around like a ballerina, I stop when I see a Greek Parthenon with white columns on top of the hill just near here. How did I know that is a Parthenon? And why didn't I see the damn thing earlier? I press my palm against my face as I feel disappointed at myself for not noticing the most important thing in this place.

Stolen story; please report.

I let out a sigh, "So many questions, none of the answers. Maybe there is someone there that can help me," and off I proceed to the Parthenon with my bare feet.

After a couple of minutes of walking, the Parthenon cast a large shadow over me as I climb its large steps. The couple levels of the stair are absurdly large that I have to scale it using my entire body, it feels like climbing a wall. I try to catch my breath as I arrive at the massive huge doorway, the height of a three-story building.

When I enter the Patheon, I'm in awe at the beautifully crafted columns, the painting of the vast sea on the ceiling, the white marble floor, and the soft red carpet that brush against my feet. I glance at the elegant sofa on the right side of the room beside it is the end table with an assortment of fruits on it, there is also an armor stand at the left side with beautifully made plate armor fit perfectly for a woman, and its design looks similar to a spartan armor.

Everything in this room is large, and the person who can use it is probably a giant, but even with all that, what caught my attention is a painting of a beautiful woman.

Fair white skin, beautiful wavy golden hair, striking golden eyes the same as mine, pink drape cover her body, and an assortment of beautiful flowers surrounding her. Her beauty is something else, my mouth agape when I see it, even though it just a painting.

Then a name burst inside my mind, "Helen."

"A first time for me, a child waste my own time." A soft yet stern voice comes from behind me.

I turn around, and my eyes widen when I see a tall, beautiful woman that is the height of a giraffe about 20 feet tall. Her brown wavy hair is a bit similar to the woman in the painting, her eyes are hidden underneath a black blindfold, but I could feel the stern gaze that she gives off. Her face is like the embodiment of perfection itself, with no imperfection or blemishes.

A drape of white silk rest on her right shoulder and make its way across her body, covering her private part, but even with a layer of clothing covering her body, I could see the snippet of her bountiful breast, hourglass figure, and her thick thigh.

As I look up at her face again, I could see a circlet of golden leaves rest on her head.

However, all of that beauty is nothing when compared to the pair of beautiful white wings behind her. The feathers seem soft from where I stand, it as if I could sleep on them and feel the fluffy bedding.

"Are you done staring?"

The words full me back to reality, and I immediately drop to one knee with my sight downcast to show my respect. "Forgive me for my rudeness... aah."

'Adrestia' or 'Nemesis' two names pop out from my mind like a burst of information about her begin to resurface. The woman in front of me is not just any ordinary woman, she is the goddess who enacts retribution against those who succumb to hubris, and there are many titles that she has, all of them is coming out like a flood.

The inescapable, goddess of revenge, the avenger of crime, winged balancer of life, dark-faced goddess, and mother of justice. So many of them.

I look at her, "S-should I call you Nemesis, miss?"

"Nemesis..." The woman lifts her chin as if she is gazing into the past.

"It has been a long time since anyone calls me that, you may call me Adrestia." There a small smile on her face, it causes my heart to fill with a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see it.

However, her smile is only for a short moment as she looks at me again. "So are you done pleasuring yourself in my domain?"

I let out an awkward laugh. "Wait, you saw that?"

"Yes."

"I didn't know somebody is watching me." My finger restless in embarrassment while my cheek reddens and an idiotic grin appear on my face.

"It doesn't matter. It's what mortal does, investing themselves in pleasure." She walks past me to the center of the room.

"You may stand." She gestures her hand at me.

I stand up from the floor and turn my body to face her with a bright smile on my face. "May I ask, why am I here?"

"Who am I? And where I am?"

"Your name is Andre..."

"Andre... Huh, sound familiar..."

"Of course it does, it's your name. You are in my domain, this floating island, and everything here is created by me. To put it simply, it's my home."

"I am on a floating island... awesome," I say with an excited face.

"It nothing, compare to the twelve domain, but it is, what it is."

"The twelve?" A bunch of names starts appearing in my mind, but it also comes with tons of other information that I can't decipher.

I let out a grunt of pain, Adrestia notice this then she lower herself to my level and press her soft finger against my head. An abundance of warmth brush away the painful headache and making my mind clearer. Her silk dress shuffles around as she stands up again, I can smell the sweet fragrance coming from her.

"There you go, is it better now?" Her words are soothing like a mother taking care of her child.

"Yeah, thank you, Miss Adrestia." I bow my head quickly and repeatedly to show my gratitude.

"Your welcome," She nods her head slightly in response.

"We shall continue, you here because I choose you to become my candidate."

"Candidate?" My head perks up in curiosity.

"Yes, Hmm... It seems, we have to cut this introduction short, I have to go."

"Where are you going, Miss Adrestia?"

"Curious one arent you?" I can feel her gaze behind those blindfolds.

"I'm sorry for being a busybody."

"It's fine... I have a meeting with the other gods." Her face shows her tiredness.

Those names that appear before, it was the name of the gods and goddess. "Gods? You mean Zeus and the others?"

"Don't mention that name here," Adrestia says in a monotone voice, but I can sense the anger in her words.

"I-I'm s-sorry. I didn't mean... to offend you. I'm sorry, I'm an idiot." I apologize from the bottom of my heart.

She let out a sigh, "It's fine...You just an unknowledgeable child, it's okay."

It seems that her anger has dissipated, my shoulders relax while my heart rate slowdowns.

"I'm late... I should go now..." She let out another sigh.

"What should I do when you are gone?" I look at her with anticipation.

The woman thinks to herself for a minute then replies with, "Clean the stable and feed the Griffins for me."

"Okay, no problem. I will give it my all and make you proud. I'll make sure the stable is cleaner than a...aaa." I couldn't find the word to finish my sentence.

She let out a small laugh then a potent blast of wind blow against my face causing me to block my sight with my arm. When the breeze finally calms down, I lower my hand down, and she disappears with the wind.

"Woah!! Freaking rad. Man, I wish I can do that." I twirl my body around in excitement with a bright face.

"I'm truly in another world. Another world... I don't know what I just said, but who cares." I praise aloud as I continue to rotate my body. When I twirl, I can see the edge of the island that I'm on and the vast sea from the doorway.

Then I stop my twirling, "Wait!? Griffins?" My eyes widen in fear and worry.
