Chapter Eight: Confusion
The only thing that could be seen of the ravaging flames was a faint, sizzling glow in the distance. This view was registered by the boys hastily jogging. The flames no longer looked as brisk as they once were, achieved by the entire British fire service.
“Well, I don’t know what happened back there, but we definitely didn’t help.” Xavier said, with a proud expression all over his face.

“Not in any way, shape or form.” Viktor stated logically.
“Quit it!” Xavier laughed, elbowing Viktor in the ribs playfully.
“Anyways… where do we go now?” Xavier asked.
“Hmm… I’m pretty hungry, do you want to get some food?” Viktor replied, in the most matter-of-fact voice you could say that you were hungry, which Xavier noticed.
“Um… yeah, I’m absolutely starving after all this craziness lately. Yeah, come on, let’s go.”
