After putting his books away Ben went to look for Jake and the other as to what his group would do. It took him some time but he found them sitting around their leader with the others as he spoke.
When they finished Jake saw him leaning by a tree and went over to him.
“So you are leaving?” asked Jake.
“Nope, gonna stay for the rest of time we have here. I need to level my skills before I can even try.” Replied Ben.
“Yeah that's about what we would do. Our great leader decided it would be best to have everyone try to be at least basic with their weapons. So we’re likely staying full time as well.” Said Jake with a shrug.
“Understandable. Well I have more work to get done, so see ya.” Said Ben as he left back to the forest.
“There's still time if you wanna join later!” said Jake, turning back to his group as Ben left.
Ben looked for the zone where there were no monsters which thankfully was his previous building spot. Ben then spends the next 4 hour crafting tools, such as stone knives, stone spears, stone axes, and stone pickaxes.
To make a stone knife was similar to making the pickaxe. Using 2 rocks to tin out the knife and chip out at the edges was sort of easy. He tried this multiple times as well.
The spearhead was hard to die as he couldn’t find rock of the same shape so he had to carefully chip the rock to make a spear head before attacking it to a long wooden pole with some fider holding everything together.
The Pickaxe took it to the next level, getting something like that wasn’t easy, but somehow he made it and completed it. By this time Ben was really tired. He had spent hours crafting, but he kept on making things, gathering more resources and more work.
Soon night fell and it got really dark, to the point he couldn’t even see his own hands. So he quickly tried his best to make fire and perfected it after he was done. However after working for so long he was too tired to continue and the warmth of the fire was very soothing.
Before he went to sleep though, he checked his stats for anything new.

After getting up in the morning Ben went straight to work. Since there was no need for food here he decided to just continue with his work.
He made his best Axe Yet and chopped down a few trees. Today's goal was to get the woodwork skill along with the stonemason one. After chopping down the trees, he carried them back to his work place and made them into planks.
At first he did so by just doing it with his knife, but after a long time of nothing. He realized why he was making any progress. He had been thinking that by just carving the wood he would get the skill but that wasn’t the case.
If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
So he focused on how he carved out his next plank carefully and when he checked his stat, he saw 2 new things.
[Crude Wood Work] - You now understand how to carve out wood to an….interesting degree.
Proficiency - 0.00%
[Focus II] - With Great focus come bether rewards!

Proficiency - 0.01%
“Oh! Now this is what I call a cheat!” said Ben when he saw the focus skill.”This is too good! Gaining skills faster is a great ability.”
Now the next skill Ben wanted to get was stonemason so he got straight to work with the largest stone in the safe area. The one he worked on. It was sad to see it go so fast but it needed to be done. He made a small pickaxe and began carving out bricks from it as he focused. After a few more hours, he had finally gotten it without much problem.
[Crude Stonemason] - you can make things from stone with noobish accuracy.
Proficiency - 0.02%
For the rest of that day, Ben spent it making more planks and bricks until night, gaining more proficiency with his 2 new skills and [focus.]
Early in the morning of the second day, Ben was hard at work focusing on water and clay. That's right, he was trying to gain potery. This skill would be useful for potion making as glass was going to be too hard for the time being.
There was a small stream running through every area, and he found some clay laying around near it and made some bottles out of it. When 5 was done, I made a fire and set them in before covering them with sticks and grass.
As they cooked, he sat down next to it and practiced his [wood work] and [stonemason] skills.
Around the afternoon, he heard a lot of shouting and screams coming from the clearing. Ben took his best spear and ran there full speed. In the middle of the clearing there was a full on dispute with all the different clans around. Weapons were drawn and many were already down bleeding heavily.
Confused at what was going on, he asked a girl who was standing alone what had happened. She wore witch like clothes with a cool magic staff with a glowing orb attached to it. She had a very emotionless face, but she was really pretty with her blonde hair and shining blue eyes.
“Hey, excuse me, do you know what's going on?” He asked Nicely.
She looked at him for a second and she replied,”Some People have been stealing the prays or other groups. Since no one knows who it is they are fighting over how things should go.” she said calmly look at the fight happening right now.
“Wow...that troublesome.” said Ben looking on at the fight going on between people.
“It’s precisely why I wanted to go alone, less group drama.” said the girl before turning away back to the forest.
“Won’t it be dangerous though?” said Ben toward her.
“It would, but it would be worth it. You should know that as well as you’re going alone. Hope we meet again.” said the girl before she disappeared inside the forest.
Ben shrugged as he watched the battle unfold. Since no one could decide on who had done it. All the group decided to just leave to avoid more trouble. There were already a lot of people injured.
There were a few people who hadn’t gotten to basic with their combat skills yet. But the clans left either way. They all grabbed as much fruit from the trees as they could all carry and left through the portal. All within a 30 minutes.
There where only a few people left. All of them being solo people or groups of less than 4.
Ben had waved goodbye to his friends before going back to his camp where his clay bottles had finished cooking, gaining him the potery skill.
For the rest of that day Ben managed to Gain basic with the woodwork and stonemason skills.

As the 3rd day rose up. Ben took his spear and went to the areas where creatures were spawning. It was best for him to learn at least one fighting skill before he leaves.
Ben carefully went through the forest making sure not to make any noise. He used [focus] as well to help him with this. Then his first monster appeared before him.
It was a slime. A small squishing thing. It didn’t attack right away, in fact it seems to be minding its own business as Ben's spear went stabbing at it.
When the stone spear hit the slime it seems to just have been pushed away with nothing on its surface. Seeing Ben it jumped and hit him in the stomach. It felt just like that one time when that pesky kid threw a rock at him a while back.
He was used to something like this, but it hurt either way. Ben fought the thing for a while before realizing that the core in the center was its weak point which it moved away when the spear tried to hit it. With a smart tactic he managed to break it, killing the thing easily.
He then continued to fight more slimes, going from fighting 1 to 5 at one time. He also dodge their informing strike poorly at first but soon it became very easy to do so.
Next he found a brown rabbit with a horn on its head. He dodge the horn strikes at all cost as it was sharp enough to hurt him. Although they weren’t as resistant as the slimes, their horn did make them a harder target. He got a small scratch after being careless with one.
As he continued hunting the creature in the training grounds, the boar was the hardest dus far. It was small but its charges could crack stone. Ben was nearly pummeled by it, but thankfully managed to evade it and kill it with the stone spear.
One time as he finished off a boar, he found that witch girl fighting against multiple smiles. She was avoiding them with some pretty good skill. As she did this she chanted fire magic at them with the force of a grenade to them. Ben had no idea how fire magic needed to be to have that effect, but she must still be at basic...right?
After leaving her to her fight, Ben continued his hunt as night fell to which he went back to the clearing. There was plenty of light when he arrived as the remaining people had lit camp fires for them and their group.
Ben had gained a few new skills thanks to his practice as well, they were as follows.
[Crude Hunting] - You can hunt small animals that can’t conceal their movements.
Proficiency - 5.01%
[Weak Dodge] - You can somewhat dodge a stone being thrown at you at normal speed.
Proficiency - 11.09%
[Crude Spearmanship] - You can wave a spear around a bit….
Proficiency - 2.89%
Ben built his own camp fire and sat there crafting some more tools to improve his proficiency. As he practiced he looked at the other solo people, he saw that witch girl again conjuring fire from her fingertips to light herself a fire.
At the far end of the clearing. He saw the old lady sleeping by her fire. Another teen like him practiced his crafting abilities, a man around 20 lay at the side of a tree asleep, there was a small kid, looking to be around 14 looking at everyone here, and a few more people looking about at the others.
There was silence in the clearing. No one spoke, and everyone was minding their own business. At some point while everyone was asleep, I also went in, and by the time i woke up,
I was already in the new world…..
