"How are the Transfers going? Are there any problems so far."
Inside a room that looked to be completely bare except for a Capsule, the same as the one Shun was in at the underground station, but unlike the silver grey color that he was in, this one seemed to be made up of a dark blue metal and seemed to be more hightch.
Looking at the capsule infront of him, a man, wearing a white yukata, looked into the capsule with a look that seemed more than a little less interested at who was inside and seemed almost imaprtial at who was inside.
This man can be instantly identified as Director Weng as he looked inside at who was inside.
With long black hair floating alongside her that would usually fall down her back, a body that men want to drool over, a face that looked cold but beautiful, the female inside the capsule looked to be around the same age as Shun but seemed more confident as her calm face showed none of the anxiety Shun had with her dark blue leotard snug on her body as she floated in the green liquid.
"Sir, the transfers are going exactly as planned. There have been no incidents and it seems that in the next 24 hours 70-80% of the population excluding the ones who denied transfer will have entered Eden. And in the next 36 all of the population, again excluding the ones not transferring, will have transferred and your plan and your dream of so many years will have been fully realized. But are you sure allowing your associate's daughter and her friends Diamond Capsules was a good idea, you know that only so few were made and you really angered some of the Higher powered who were denied them. If I may ask why you did such a thing?"
A man, tall and strong with his chinese descent clear on his face and his black hair tied into a not going down his neck, the man who seemed to be a bodyguard or an assistant spoke up from next to Director Weng as he looked at the the capsule with confusion as he said the question multiple people have asked Director Weng the moment they heard what he did.
"There was no reason, I just wanted to."
And every time he would respond the same way.
"I-I guess. . . are you sure you don't wish to enter Eden sir."
Looking at Director Weng who didn't seem affected whatsoever at the real reason he gave away his Diamond Capsule, Director Weng who was still looking at the girl in the capsule seemed to be more lost then focused as he seemed to be looking past her or maybe even closer at her, the assistant next to him couldn't tell.
". . .I f I were to go into Eden I would lose myself and potentially destroy my mind and body before I do anything good. I would rather give my opportunity to those of the younger generation and let them live the dream I had when I was their age. I will live my life viewing how my life's work went and watch the ones who reach the top until my lifes done with."
Looking at the Capsule one more time Director Weng slowly got up making the assistant who seemed more sad than anything as tears welled up in his eyes.
"But don't worry about me, your transfer is in the next few hours. Focus on that, you know how important strength is in that world, I hate that my life's work has been distorted and changed into what is now nothing more than about strength and absolute power taking the rules the world, but my hands are tied. Life in that world is going to be hard but you must do your hardest to provide for the younger generation, do you understand Li Jie?"
Nodding his head sadly, Li Jie went to the door and opened for the two as they both left the room closing the door behind them. . .
----------------------------------------
'W-Where am I.'
Shun, who after finally waking up and opening his eyes, was instantly greeted to multiple blue screens in his face.
He didn't understand most of them at first as they flashed in and out of his face but only after realizing that he wasn't in his capsule like before and wasn't floating in that green liquid did he realize that they must have something to do with Eden as he looked around the strange room he was in.
And a weird room it was.
With walls that seemed to not really be walls the color pitch black with a floor contrasting the walls as they were snow white. Shun who was sitting down on a plain wooden chair and infront of a similarly plain wooden table didn't see anything that made the room any worse.
'I must be in Eden?'
Looking around he couldn't really see what was so Earth like in this room but he quickly understood that this room was probably an introduction and a character creation room, that those novels so avidly described.
"You are correct Human being Shun Atlas."
And it seemed that Shun was correct, as a female voice, graceful and soft corrected him. It could be heard from all areas of the room in every direction.
Looking around, Shun couldn't find the source of the voice.
"You will not be able to see my physical form, human being Shun Atlas. . . Right now you are currently in what is known as the 'Life creation room'. You along with 900,682,283 other humans are in the process of creating your avatar that will dwell in Eden. You whose life has been lost in your last, will be reincarnated in this world, Eden, to create a life that is yours and yours alone."
"This prosperous world dominated by life you have never seen in your previous, creatures that will room and kill at any time, civilizations that are beyond your imagination, mysteries that have yet to be discovered, you who've been sent here by the Gods higher than even I are meant to protect the world of Eden and make this world that has become over run by evil and darkness yet to be seen. How you choose to do that is up to you. . . Live the life given to you how you wish. . ."
And it seemed that the voice was indeed an informant, probably a god of the world(A.I) that was giving an introduction to Eden.
Looking around not hearing anything more from the female voice, Shun was expecting some sort of transportation or portal to transport him into the world but what appeared infront of him was different than what he was expecting.

Looking at the multiple screens infront of him, Shun, who wasn’t really expecting them to appear, looked at them with interest and slight confusion as a feeling that something was missing kept bugging him as he reread the panels over and over again.
'Oh. . . this is new.’
It wasn't immediate, but after looking at all the screens and reading them thoroughly for the 4th time in a row, did he finally understand what was wrong with this 'Status Screen'.
The lack of any kind of a health bar.
'I've never played a game that didn't have a health bar in the status'
There was things like vitality and levels that you would usually see but there was no health counter.
But things like Devotion and Curse were completely foregin to him.
Do you wish to start the Eden World system?
"Yes?"
Almost confused by the question, Shun answered the weird box infront of him as all the boxes that showed what were apparently going to be his stats and another took its place.
Welcome to the World System user Shun Atlas. I am the user A.I that will be available at all times, I won't be communicating once you enter Eden but as long as you're in the 'Life Creation Room' I will be able to assist you.
Now to begin your life in Eden, you must first create a name for your Avatar and distribute the 7 free stat points that were given to you by having a Silver life crystal.
"Oh. So that's one of the advantages Gold and Diamond capsules get."
Shun was both bothered and unbothered by the information he was given. Although he was a bit jealous by the fact that Gold and Diamond Capsule users could have more than 7 free stat points that would essentially improve their character more than anybody else already giving them an advantage even before going into the game, but he wasn't that stressed about it. Sure they can have a boost but if there initial stats were bad than having some extra points wouldn’t affect his position as of right now. So he didn't bother to comment on it.
But what did peak his interest was the second part of the A.I’s statement. What was going to be his name and how were he going to distribute the 7 stat points for his character, that was apparently called an avatar in this world.
Actually the lore and how he and over 8 billion people going into a virtual world that is basically there new world was weird.
They’re apparently just being sent here to live and have an adventure? Shun wasn't going to complain but it seemed a little strange. . .
'Whatever, I'm not too worried about it.'
Shaking off his curiosity, Shun went on to deliberate the name of his character.
'What would be a good name. . . I don't want to go with my regular name, I only have this one chance to change it. . . maybe I should go with something similar but different. . .'
Thinking about it, Shun was already in a stump.
He didn't want anything too uncharacteristic, but not anything too normal that would make his name forgettable.
'Atlas. . .'
Thinking about his name in general, Shun took inspiration in his last.
He has always been interested in his last name.
Whenever he asked, he would always get the answer that it was inspired by his greek heritage, and was supposed to be something he was proud of.
'If I go by my last name I should pick something about the Earth. . what about Terra Altas?'
"Is the name Terra Atlas chosen?"
It didn't sound crazy cool like "Dragon Slayer" or some crazy name, but he wanted something practical and usable in the world so Terra Atlas was going to be his new name!
Checking Data Base. . . . . No names found using the Name 'Terra Atlas'. Do you wish to name your Avatar this?
"Yes."
Confirmed! Congratulations Terra Atlas, you have completed the first step to starting your journey. Now allocate your 7 free stat points into the 7 stat categories.
Remembering that he still had to do that, Shun went ahead and imagined what his stat sheet was going to look like. Although some of the stats were a bit different then what he was expecting, his idea of what he wanted was all the same.
In every game he's ever played, he always liked playing the swordsman focusing on attack and defense and being a mage, focusing on attack and intelligence.
And following his wants in this world, he was planning on being a swordsman. . . or a mage. He wasn't so sure, but he wanted to focus on something to build his character on.
But he had only one question.
"How did my stats come out like this?"
Looking at the stat panel one more time he couldn't help but wonder how his stats became like this. Looking at it, he didn't understand, he wasn't a particularly strong person nor was he very smart. So how did Empire of Eden give him what seemed to be a high strength and intelligence.
Stats are determined by a base percentage of your previous body. Every human that is being transferred to Eden has initial stats that are between 1-25, 1 being the weakest presumably a newborn while 25 being the epitome of human capabilities. The average human your age on earth should be. . . between 10-13 points in every stat. But it seemed that the Gods wanted to bless you humans, giving out 10 random stat points to boost all 7 of your stats at random. The only stat that wasn't affected was luck which is random at creation and can not be affected by stat points and luck has a range between 1-25.
Reading the text box, Shun seemed that his thoughts were correct.
'So the physical and the brain scan probably had an effect on my stats. . . I really should've worked out more.’
Sighing at his own fimble frame, Shun went ahead and allocated his stats.
Shun now named Terra after rereading the definition that was provided for each stat made once more making sure that his understanding of each one was correct before placing them.
After a minute and confirming what he wanted Shun made up his mind and placed his free stat points accordingly.
BT: 13
TH: 9
IN: 10
CP: 14
VIT: 10
Ability: 14
Luck: 11
Charm: 8
Free Attribute points: 0
Shun looking at the final results of his was pleased, he wanted balance in his stats but not so much as to seem all around and not specializing in anything, that's why he placed a lot of his free stat points into Bodily Strength. He needed that stat to be high if he wanted to be a sword wielder and if he was being honest he didn't see the need for things like charm and vitality that was only useful when it reached 20 which he can level naturally so he added only one more.
He placed the last 4 in intelligence and comprehension, only because he saw that he had an already high comprehension that will be valuable to the already seemingly hard to learn sword ki that he learned of from the stream and for intelligence Shun added the points in it only because of the possibility that he could learn magic or something that could be of use.
What he was really surprised in was the high Ability stat that seemingly came out of nowhere. That was probably at random as well but the A.I hadn't said anything. . .
Congratulations Terra Atlas for completing the steps to creating your Avatar in Eden. Now that your silver soul is complete you must create your body. . . now to make things simpler for you, a body has already been made for you.
And just then, all those stat screens that he had just adjusted disappeared and in its place a single white tear shaped droplet floated in the air.
". . ."
It wasn't as if Shun was confused. . . he was just lost.
But while he was looking at the droplet in the air it started spreading and spreading shifting and molding in the shape of a human being.
"!?"
It was only after a couple of seconds when the human shaped silver encasing cracked and snapped, breaking apart did Shun realize what it was supposed to be.
With pale skin, not really ghastly white but a rather nice tan, at a rather short and slim body at 5ft 6in, slightly curled brown hair going down to his shoulder and somewhat over his seemingly above average youthful face, giving a nice contrast to his dark green eyes.
Shun recognized the figure infront of him almost instantly
"T-Thats me!"
He could understand that this was going to be essentially a character creation but he had only one problem with it. . .
"Why am I naked!"
Looking at the duplicate infront of him, Shun didn;t understand why he had to be naked! Right now he was still wearing the white leotard so why was the duplicate not?
The ability to change how you look is a powerful thing. . . the gods see that and are limiting you greatly on what you can do with it. And be warned, what you do may or may not affect your standing with them, so be considerate of what you do.
Being warned, Shun wasn't too worried. Although personally he hated how he looked and always wished he was more muscular and 'manlier', other than that he had no problems with his looks and so other than the slight correction with eyebrow length and giving himself a bit more muscle he didn't think he needed anything else.
Looking at. . . him, Shun was becoming more and more self-conscious of how he looked. It was as if all of his flaws were being pointed out and highlighted so that he could see them all. There were flaws that he's never even noticed before, but now that he's fixed the problems he's always noticed even more problems with him were popping up.
". . . I'm done."
Willing himself to not change anything else as he was kinda scared by the warning and he wanted to be on the good sides of the A.I or Gods of the world.
Confirmed. Avatar "Terra Atlas" has now been created! Now, select your desired place of transfer, you may choose between the 8 known continents in the world to transfer to.
Now do you wish to select. . .
Adventure mode: Where you will transfer to a landscape away from any major cities or kingdom, giving a +1 stat raise in BT. This mode will open up a path towards battle and combat raising your affinity with people of combat.
Civilian Mode: Where you will be transported to a Random city or village close to a major power, choosing this mode will allow you to raise any 1 stat of your choice by +1.
Scholar Mode: Where you will be sent to a new born City or village that has just been created where you will be given a +1 in CP and your affinity with those of scholarly classes and positions.
{Note}- If you choose the Civilian path and choose to become an adventurer or Scholar, there will be consiquences later on as you journey.
Now that was something that was interesting. There was no beginning village nor was there the choice to be an adventurer and start in a major city.
He already knew what he was going to choose but where he was going to transfer was the better question
'Hmmmmmmm'
Choosing the Adventurer Mode, Shun was given the option between hundreds of different kinds of settlements that seemed to come in different sizes, but they all had something in common. They all sucked! They seemed run down and seemed that they just created it.
He had no idea how they looked but after reading some of the description of what made the village, like; Has 100 civilians, 10 weak soldiers, mostly wheat and corn crops, low rain, etc. He wasn't sure if any of these were positive and he had no reason to read every single one so he had no choice.
"I choose random."
Random transfer selected. . . Location found! Now starting the Adventurers spirit Quest.
". . .Wait what?"
But before he could ask what that meant, Shun whose mind started wobbling found his mind split and seemingly out of place as his vision darkened. It was only a second later when he opened his eyes and saw his body getting lifted up did he see a body on the ground.
'I-Isn't that me?'
Shun was correct, but more accurately it was his old body that was in his white leotard and on the ground.
He was totally confused, but seeing as he was still being lifted a blinding light came over his eyes making him see nothing but white.
