Dan wandered aimlessly through the town, feeling lost and helpless without his money or his map. With no way of finding the Imperial Immigration and Data Center, he found himself teetering on the brink of despair. Anger and frustration welled up within him, and for a fleeting moment, he entertained thoughts of seeing the city burn in retaliation for his misfortune.
But as quickly as the thought came, Dan forced himself to calm down. Dwelling on destructive impulses would only worsen his situation. Taking a deep breath, he steadied his nerves and focused on finding a solution.
"How do I get out of this situation?" Dan muttered to himself
Dan considered his options, weighing the pros and cons of each plan. The first plan involved resorting to theft, as the indifferent guards seemed unlikely to intervene if someone were to be robbed. However, Dan quickly dismissed this idea, knowing that it would only lead to further trouble.
Instead, he opted for his second plan: begging for money or items. While it wasn't the most dignified option, Dan knew that desperate times called for desperate measures.

Dan stumbled upon a spot that seemed ripe for begging. With a twinge of embarrassment, he dropped to his knees and began to wail dramatically, clutching at the hem of a passerby's trousers.
"Please, don't leave this poor man in despair!" Dan bawled, tears streaming down his face in exaggerated sorrow. "I just need a map or some money, please!" His performance was so over-the-top that nearby bystanders even stopped to watch.
But just as Dan was really getting into character, a group of guards approached, drawn by the commotion. Realizing he'd been caught in the act, Dan abruptly stopped his theatrics and bolted, leaving the baffled bystanders
Dan sprinted through the streets with the guards hot on his heels, his frustration boiling over. Between gasps for breath, he muttered curses under his breath, lamenting his ill-fated decision
"I thought they wouldn't give a damn," Dan cursed between pants, his voice tinged with frustration. "Fuck this city, fuck my life, fuck everything here!"
Dan sprinted desperately, his heart pounding in his chest as he spotted a crowd of people ahead. With a glimmer of hope, he dashed towards them, thinking he could lose the guards in the chaos. As he pushed through the throng of bodies, he suddenly found himself careening into the midst of a marching military procession.
Time seemed to slow as every person in the vicinity halted their movements, and a hush fell over the area. Dan's eyes widened in horror as he realized the gravity of his mistake. Surrounded by stern-faced soldiers, he knew he was in deep trouble.
