city part 2

After a restful nap, Dan awoke feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Stretching his limbs, he rose from the comfortable bed and made his way to the small desk in the corner of the room.

With a sense of purpose, he retrieved the map he had acquired earlier and spread it out before him. Studying the map with a keen eye, Dan meticulously examined each detail, plotting his next course of action.

In addition, Dan knew he had practical matters to attend to. He needed to devise a plan to earn more money, perhaps by seeking out employment or perhaps even starting his own business.

He also reminded himself of his goal to reach level 10, unlocking access to his admin console

now Dan's top priority was he needed to find a way to earn money, and the logical place to start was at an adventurer guild.

However, upon scrutinizing the map, he discovered a surprising absence—there was no adventurer guild marked on it. Instead, he found listings for arcane guilds, merchant guilds, and gold and silver guilds.

Frowning in disbelief, Dan muttered to himself, "In what world does this city not have an adventurer guild?" Determined to find answers, he resolved to seek guidance from the inn's staff.

Leaving his room behind, Dan made his way to the front desk, where the same lady from the previous night greeted him with a warm smile. "Ma'am," Dan began, his voice filled with determination, "do you happen to know where the adventurer guild is located?"

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

"Sorry, sir, what do you mean?" the lady behind the desk asked, her expression one of confusion.

Dan cleared his throat, determined to clarify his inquiry. "I mean, do you know where people go to request rewards for tasks like killing monsters, guarding something, or doing errand work?"

Understanding dawned on the lady's face as she nodded in comprehension. "Ah, you're referring to mercenaries. Well, mercenaries often take on tasks such as guarding merchant caravans or hunting monsters along the roads. They're usually stationed near the merchant guild and are paid by the city for their services."

Dan shake his head "No, not mercenaries," Dan clarified, shaking his head. "What I mean is a place where adventurers gather to take on quests, explore dungeons, and seek out treasures" The lady behind the desk listened intently as Dan tried to explain his inquiry further. However, it became evident that she was unfamiliar with the concept of an adventurer guild.

Dan left the lady with a sense of defeat, realizing that this world did not have an adventurer guild. "Well," he thought to himself, "I guess I'll have to settle for joining the mercenaries. With my strength, it should be an easy way to make some money." With a determined stride, he set off to seek out the mercenaries and offer his services.

As Dan walked around, he eventually reached the guild. Upon entering, he was surprised to find that the place was clean and orderly, unlike what he had expected. The mercenaries there were not engaging in rowdy behavior; instead, they were quietly reading books or enjoying meals.

as dan Approaching the front desk, Dan prepared himself for the typical gruffness of the burly man behind it. However, to his surprise, the man greeted him warmly. "Welcome, sir," he said kindly. "How may I assist you? Feel free to ask any questions you have; we're here to help."
