24. Ark's Stats After The 2nd Scenario

Ark woke up to find out that he had been barraged with notifications of all kinds. Ark grinned. After what had felt like an eternity, Ark and Adam had finally managed to complete the second scenario without a single casualty. Ark could rest assured now. The third scenario was not that difficult. There was significantly less chance of the people getting hurt if they strayed far away from the danger zones. Ark sighed in relief.

It had been a weight on his shoulders. For a very long time, after he had returned back, he was dreading the second scenario. He knew what he wanted to do and surprisingly, all of his plans worked out. There were some hiccups along the way but he had managed all the same. The best thing that had come out of the second scenario though was not all the stats or level-ups he had been getting. It was his friendship with Adam.

Ark had a feeling that this friendship was going to last for a long time. Ark was confused though. In the last moments, when Adam was fighting the Magma Wyrm, it seemed like his Speed had increased all of a sudden. If Ark knew Adam well, he would probably come clean as soon as he got the chance. Ark did not worry about that. The Magma Wyrm had been the toughest fight Ark was in. It was only due to a little bit of ingenuity that he had been able to do it.

If it had been through normal means, Ark was sure that nine times out of ten he would have failed. But after defeating the Magma Wyrm, Ark felt relieved. The third scenario was probably going to last for an entire month. It would be a peaceful time for him. Ark would still have to travel throughout the entire island for the hidden pieces but he could relax. Unlike the first two scenarios, the third scenario’s time limit was constant.

It was also in the third scenario that All the people left Earth completely and moved to the Tower. The First two scenarios were conducted on his home planet itself with the Tower being partially connected to it but now, everyone was going to the Tower. The Tower was far better than Earth anyway. You got a hundred coins every day on the first floor of the Tower and the living expenses only took about ten to fifteen coins per person.

If a person wanted to live in absolute luxury, they would burn through forty coins per day. After the hell, the people would have been through in the second scenario, that much would have to be there. The Tower was always Ark’s second home. He was excited to go there. What he was more excited about was the notifications that were condensed to one of the corners of his eyes. Ark was sure that as soon as he opened them, he would be blown away.

Ark decided to open each notification category-wise. The first few notifications were about the defeat of the seventh horde of monsters and the completion of the second scenario. Ark now had to sift through the notifications about his level-ups. Thankfully, it was condensed and given to him. These level-ups included both his fights with the Corrupted Holy Knight of Arcadia as well as the Magma Wyrm.

[You have 10 unallocated stat points]

[You are now level 58]

As always, Ark put every single unallocated stat point into Arkana. He had grown really strong. Ark opened up his status screen to check his stats. It had been a long time since he had checked his stats.

[STRENGTH] [AGILITY] [CONSTITUTION] [PERCEPTION] [ARKANA] 47 37 51 24 90

His Perception was at an all-time low and his Arkana was at an all-time high. Ark felt that he really didn’t need the Perception stat. Almost every single entity inside the Tower had Arkana inside them, which made it very easy for Ark to detect them. Even so, Ark would probably have to balance out his stats at some point.

Ark was level 58 now. It had far surpassed his original prediction. Ark had thought earlier that he would only be able to get to level 50 after he had completed the third scenario but it seemed the Magma Wyrm had given him even more Exp than normal. Ark did not mind at all. Ark had become much stronger too. He was level 58 and yet he had the stats of a person who was a level 125. As Ark got stronger, his stats would grow alongside him.

What Ark wanted to see the most were his story cards and achievements. They did not disappoint at all. Ark’s first story card had increased its timer from 5 minutes to 15 minutes. This was going to come in handy.

[Calling the Adminsitrator]

Ark was blown away by the number of notifications he received. Since Ark had achieved a narrative feat, he was pretty sure that his story card was going to be a fabled one. This was the pattern that was recurring throughout the entirety of the Tower. Ark immediately put the points in Arkana. His Arkana was finally above hundred.

The fact that so many notifications were required told Ark that he had done something unprecedented. So much so, that the Tower itself couldn’t give him his reward at the current moment. It seemed that he had crossed the limits of what could possibly be achieved in the second scenario.

Ark did not complain though. The Tower was very serious about its rewards. The more he waited, the better it would be. The third scenario was going to be the very place, Ark’s real plan would start. He was surprised about the Administrator though. In his previous life, Ark had only managed to gain the attention of the administrator three times. But in this timeline, a mere participant in the second scenario had called on him. Ark became excited at the very prospect of it.

He had certain ideas about what he wanted as the reward. He was going to wring out every inch of causality he could from that administrator. Suddenly Ark felt a tugging sensation in his stomach and he was transported to a place that seemed like an open sky. Ark was standing on top of a white fluffy cloud and the Administrator was in front of him
