“You can’t win Zemaku,” Joe said coldly. “It doesn't matter how desperate you are. What you said about your desperation being the thing to push you—it won’t do a damn thing against an S tier Thumb. It may have helped you with Ren and Goki, but it won’t do shit here,” Joe continued.

"Damn, I guess he has a point," Zemaku said. But then he decided to continue the fight anyways. Zemaku’s desperation was on full display. He was less strategic; he had given in to his desperation and the urge to do everything. He spammed his laser gun, hitting Joe, but it was no use.

"Zemaku!" a familiar voice called from the distance. "Let me handle this. You go meet up with Lea and Toji and help her with saving the survivors."

"Ren?" Zemaku said in confusion.

Ren smiled as he stared at Joe. "Yes," he said. "It’s me."

"Wait, I thought you were still in the Lucid Room?" Zemaku asked.

"No, not anymore," Ren said. "I’ve finished my training. I’m nowhere near Joe’s level yet, but it’s enough to buy you some time. Just remember that Lea’s village takes priority, and your issues with Joe can come later."

"Damn it," Zemaku said before eventually giving in. "Yeah, you’re right," he said, defeated, before running off to help Lea.

Later on, Zemaku discovered Lea and Toji. They were helping out, and from the looks of it, a bunny girl demi-human with violet hair and violet bunny ears was there too. She appeared to be wearing a traditional anime style purple bunny outfit, her ears a nice shade of violet.

"So, were there any other survivors?" Zemaku asked.

"No," Lea said, "just me and my sister."

"She’s your sister?" Zemaku responded in confusion.
