Greetings everyone! In this episode of 'Geography! With Igre,' I will tell you about the dreaded plague surrounding our far western islands, The Pirate Council!

The Pirate Council was founded after the union of criminal pirate crews who, under their own agreement, decided to operate without disturbing each other. Of course, wars between aggressive pirates still happen, but that doesn’t change the fact that, in case of emergency, all the pirates might come together.

The Pirate Council is a criminal organization that operates in the seas at the borders of the empire, in areas that are less controlled. Needless to say, they pose a danger to the empire and certainly to the small islands that lie on the empire's borders.

Pirates are an incredible threat to the outer islands, as they plunder most of their possessions, ruining expeditions and commercial voyages. The most distant islands like, in this example, the far western islands, are harder for the empire to control, making it extremely difficult to eradicate them.

It was founded some time before the establishment of the Narwhal Empire and is led by the pirate crew that manages to demonstrate the most power over time, in this case, the feared Algalunga. That crew will be able to command all the other pirate crews.

Their operative base is hidden in the mysterious Black Island, also known as the Island With No Law or the Bandit’s Island, but their domain extends to the borders of the empire as their threat is to be recognized!

Will our heroes defeat the menacing pirates? Will they destroy the council? The road seems very far from achieving that… But now more than ever, they have a reason to do so!
