Then it hit me, a tingling sensation on my left shoulder.

What is this tingling? I asked Iruka Sensei.

"Congratulations, you passed Hashirama Sonju. Oh ?! Your Name is similiar to the first Hokage. I hope you will become a great Ninja."

With a smile Iruka Sensei gave me a Paper.

"Give this to your Parents, it will inform them what you need for the academy as well as your future circumstances."

Grinning i grasped the paper while running outside.

Feels weird but when you are a child everything seems so brand new and exciting.

"Mom, Dad i passed. I will become a Ninja!" i shouted while throwing myself into the embrace of my parents.

With a forced smile they replied in Unison: "Yeah you will become a proper Shinobi."

Oh boy, kinda got the feeling that they don't want me to become a Ninja. But thinking about it, it's only normal for a parent to hope that their children don't end up as cannon fodder in some mission.

Besides it's not like our family got some kickass special ability that literally cries out power power power! *Cough* *cough* *Sharingan* *cough* cough* *Byakugan* *cough*

Pondering for a bit i realized that if i hadn't the qualifications for being a ninja, aka sensing chakra. I would have a really peaceful life. My parents own a growing business which i would probably inherit with my sister. Then getting a lovely and caring wife i would have everything a man wants to have. Money, a family and maybe some hobbys.

However there would also been the risk of getting drawn into the fourth ninja war. Wouldn't been that peaceful anymore.

"Dear should we move over to a bigger estate? We could have a bigger garden in which Hashirama can train. Besides we are starting to interact with high society so it would been convenient to have a bigger space for partys."

While i spaced out my parents looked at Iruka Sensei`s Paper which contained usual information stuff like which material to bring into school as well as future information.

Naturally the stuff wasn't normal. Kunai`s and Shuriken`s were needed for training, as well as bandages and weights. The List continued, though there was a core list which only included one Kunai and one Shuriken, the rest were optinal.

Surprisingly my Parents bought everything as we moved towards a bigger house. Though it couldn't be called a house anymore. A huge garden with a seperate training field, an artificial river with a bridge and an indoor hall. All in all three big villas connected with a roofed crossway.

Weeks passed as nothing special happened. We moved our entire stuff towards the new estate and i learned a little bit for the ninja academy. Appearently the test was complety bullshit. You could still enter the academy without passing.

It also seemed to be an honor that children entered the academy, at least for normal people. However since my parents weren't born in Konohagakure they had a different perspective on it.

They even apogolized to me when i had my first day at the academy. Combining one with one it seemed that the pressure when they send their daughter and my big sister away was a little bit too big.

Though it didn't mattered for me that much. I am going to become a Ninja! YEAAAAH!

Opening the door to my classroom i felt a little bit shocked. Holy Cow! They were there! Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, Kiba, Shikamaru, Ino, Chouji ....

While i drooled inwardly Iruka Sensei pushed me a little bit.

"All of you hurry up towards the seats, lessons will start soon."

I tried to sit next to one of the naruto characters and i actually succeeded!

Naturally it wasn't Sasuke since he was surrounded by a horde of fangirls. Neither could it be Ino or Sakura since both tried to sit next to Sasuke.

It was Shikamaru! That lazy intelligent guy!

"Ok, since you are all eight years old you are all admitted to the academy trying to be Shinobis. I hope that you will become proper Shinobis who will protect the village. Since you are probably going to be together for 4 years introduce yourself."

It was .... normal, except when Sasuke introduced himself. The Girls looked at him mesmerized. Come on! He didn't looked that good!

After everyone introduced himself, including me (actually everyone just stood up and said their names) i quickly turned around towards Shikamaru.

"Shikamaru i hope we can become good friends."

Stretching my Hand forward Shikamaru grabbed mine.

"Hashirama, right? Nice to meet ya."

Yeah, he was lazy. Even in the academy.

But hey, i finally met someone from the original story. Besides i don't want to change the story dramatically. After all the only advantage i had was that i know the generic shape of the future.

Iruka Sensei continued to explain the schedule of the academy. In the beginning they would explain every training method to the students, which only needed an afternoon. After that there would be lessons every morning which ended in the early afternoon. Subjects were math, taijutsu, ninjutsu, tactical training, history, genjutsu and a lot of other stuff.

Since most subjects needed chakra, Iruka sensei presented the Leaf concentration training. A leaf on the forehead and you needed to focus on that leaf.

I had no idear how that should help me control Chakra, but since most students learn it that way i guess there is no way out.

Afterwards Iruka also moved the entire class towards the training field where he explained on how to throw shurikens and kunais. He also held a little history lesson on how to use the Kunai for melee Combat.

Since there was a little bit of time left Iruka also explained the most basic handseal which is used to gather chakra or to feel chakra.

Bidding Shikamaru goodbye after the lesson, i walked home. I didn't talked to other people that much as the information from Iruka was really important. It told me how i can train to sense chakra, the most important thing in the ninja world which enables superhhuman powers!

Though the other children already found friends, it wasn't that imporant to me, after all i needed the information on how to form hand seals as well as how to train. Since sadly i wasn't one of those guys memorizing every hand seal in naruto. I was more the casual watcher.

Enough said, let's hurry home and train to sense chakra. Maybe i can speed up things by learning walking on trees and walking on water.
