”HOLLY SHIT THIS HURTS!!” A man screamed into the void as his mind emerged from the hazy abyss. His efforts to scream aloud met failure, tubes filled his mouth. He tried to pull them out, but he couldn’t feel his arms or anything else but waves of agony coursing through him. He started to choke and gag on the tubing running down his throat, he tried to open his eyes but saw nothing. He couldn’t see nor hear anything but his racing heart.
Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.
He started to hear in his panic more than the thundering of his heartbeat, the rapid patter of many feet racing towards him along with distorted yelling before he once again faded back to nothingness .

A women in black sleeps atop a dark throne, alone in a vast cavern surrounded by mirror like waters lit by blue-green glowing crystals.
She stirs, before jolting awake.
"Fuck'n Hell, I hate that dream..." Yawning and clutching her head she looks across the chamber and noticed something troubling. The faint hud that has been at the edge of her vision for the last five years is gone and is she still in the game...
“This is strange, I should have been booted out to my home space when the the server shutdown Last night...”

"Home Menu, Log Off!"
She yelled into the empty cavern, her voice echoing off the manastone studded cavern walls.
"Shit! This is pretty serrious, my voice commands seem to be disabled and I have no way of contacting the administrators unless I find someone else that can. I need to get moving, the capital of this world should still have some people that can help me.”
She takes to her feet and walks forward from her throne, stepping from stone to water. Her feet do not sink, but countinue to walk across the water's surface. A simple ability common to high leveled vampires should they will it. She makes her exit towards a smaller cave at the water’s edge. She follows the passage leading upwards, after a few minutes of jogging in the low blue-green light she reaches the surface world.

"What!?” Squawked the woman in black.
The world she just entered is alien to her. What was a massive forest of redwood like trees is now a temperate forest of pine trees at what seemed to be mid-morning from the suns position. She walked forward with overwhelming curiosity.
"Where am I? and... and... the wind... I can feel it... and it...smells so... SO GOOD!"
Her bright blue eyes turned a murdurous red as she felt a ravenous hunger like the which she has never felt before. She takes off at a sprint in the direction of the delicious smell, her long dark hair trailing behind her. Throwing caution to the wind she runs and keeps on running, the smell and her overwhelming hunger edging her on. She breaks through the trees into a clearing, finding a lone man huddled there.
He is injurred and leaning his back against the trunk of a tree. His head jurks up and swivels around to look at her, fear in his eyes. She stops to study him and to search for the origin of this most delicious smell. The woman in black realizing how painfully hungry she was could not break her gaze from the man. He was a tall man in ragged furs, rusted chainmale, a poorly cared for sword cluched in his right hand, and his left hand pressed against his stomach with blood seeping between his fingers.
The rough looking man’s expression changed, he now wears a cocky smirk as he lurched onto his feet, now staggering towords his sudden visitor he spoke in a language unknown to her, but she hardly noticed. The woman in black’s full attention was locked on the man’s wound. The delicious smell growing stronger with every step, she began to move forward to close the gap and just as she reached him, she blacked out.
