"Sister Shang, will you go with us to the new restaurant, Dragon Burger?" the Elder Disciple asked with a kind smile.
She looked over the group of fellow Disciples, noting the poorly hidden fake smiles. Insincere and plotting something again.
Especially that elder disciple who had already attained his Golden Realm and thus true immortality.
"I'm paying, don't worry." the elder disciple added while rubbing his Copper Realm Artifact ring.
Well then. That was something else. Just make sure not to get drunk or drugged. But a free Dragon meat burger would be worth the pain. Especially the chance of instant Ascension.
"When are we leaving, Brother Luan?" she asked to make sure.
"After the lecture on Water transformation. We all have full marks in Fire Dao anyways." her fellow sister disciple explained with a wry voice.
Shang Wei nodded politely then flew away, leaving her fellow disciples to plot in secret again.
Finish her Water Dao, then Ascend, nothing lese mattered. She wouldn't stay in this den of vipers they called a Temple School for a minute longer.
Soon after the lecture, the group gathered at the Transport Formation where Brother Luan was already bribing the Temple Guards to look away while they left. It was a bit endearing, in a sad way. The Heavens were going to hell, and pretty fast too. Especially the Middle Heavens.
"If we get separated, we'll meet at the Transport Junction in Tang Clouds City. The restaurant is just outside the walls anyways." The Elder Disciple explained in a confident tone, then stepped into the teleportation array with a smug grin.
Shang Wei frowned for a second at the news. Outside the walls? Sure, one paid no taxes there, but bandits or Voracious Beasts were not a joke at all.
Especially in the Cloud Province. For a second, she wondered how did that restaurant even survive this long, as she stepped into the array.

"Oh? You have a reservation?" Sunny addressed the large group of clients entering the main hall, lead by an arrogant young master type.
"Ah, Miss Sunny! I've been here before, with my father Lord Luan, the Silver Immortal. We both gained a Star from that wonderful experience..." the white dressed young master said in a polite voice. "These are my classmates, from the Temple School. They're all in Elder God realm!"
The Blade Fairy nodded politely and offered them a large table in a separate room. That Luan guy was rich, she remembered him tipping five high-grade spirit crystals after he gained a new Star.
"First time customers get the triple price, as you probably know. By the third time, you get the regular price, which is only 10 high-grade crystals per one menu. One for each?" Sunny asked with a gentle smile.
"And a bottle of Divine Wine as well, Miss Sunny. My foundation is still fragile..." the young master said, drawing attention to his new Tier 7 realm.
Sunny nodded politely. A hundred Legion Captains and more people from the allied forces like herself were all waiters here, and also in Tier 7. As for the management or more importantly, the cook...
She held a hand out. "470 crystals, young master" she demanded with a blinding smile. Get the money first, that was the rule.
The young master waved his hand and took out 475 crystals from his Artifact ring. "Is there any singer tonight?" the man asked a bit more cautiously.
Sunny sighed inward. Another Xie fan, since the crippled girl didn't qualify for a waiter spot yet. She did have an Angel voice though.
"Lady Xie will sing in one hour. I'll go bring your Dragon Burgers now. And the Wine." the Blade Fairy announced as she skipped towards the kitchen desk.
Of course, Pef already heard everything and had the burgers ready at the counter, along with the bottle of Divine Wine. One of the burgers even had a faint cloud over it, a sign that Pef's cooking Dao had achieved another miracle again. It was rare though, maybe one in a thousand, but nobody had ever complained.

Instant Tier 7 Ascension, no matter what realm of cultivation, even a mortal would receive the same. Not that many mortals afforded to come here.
It fell to the waiter to distribute the lucky draw, and thus the generous tips from the more versed customers.
Sunny glanced at the table, noting a worried girl still covered in protective spells and anti-enchanting arrays. The black sheep of the group no doubt, warry about her safety, even with those two monsters right here.
Sunny grinned with a sunny smile. Might even bring problems for Pef...
"Here is your order, young master. And a special surprise from our beloved cook. Now, who shall be the lucky one?" Sunny asked in a wry tone, as she laid down the meals in front of each customer, saving the cloud-burger for the black sheep.
"Eat it in one bite, that's best." she advised the scared girl, still flashing a sunny smile.
To her surprise, the girl actually listened and gulped the burger whole, then sat down patiently to wait for her Ascension, before any of the classmates had time to comment or interfere.
While the group chatted with obvious envy at her luck, Xie began to sing with her Angel self voice, slowly muting the entire restaurant.
It was actually a bit hard to breathe when the Angel sang, even for Sunny herself. Luckily, Pef had stopped the Angel before it reached Tier 8 by itself, or the entire restaurant might suffer a heart attack from a single song.
Sunny flashed back to the entrance, waiting for the next customers. A few decades in this job, and she might buy a Silver Pill from the Cloud City auction. That pill sure made Rejin green with envy. Her boyfriend wasn't the top Alchemist in the universe here, not even in top 1000.
She even heard of Copper Realm pills.
But the Dragon Burger restaurant was still the cheapest way to Ascend, even if it took buying a thousand meals. Not cheap as in affordable, but cheap in the sense of not selling a few clans properties plus a dozen crystal veins just to compete for a Golden Pill. As for Silver ones...you needed to be a Noble to afford one. Or a well paid waiter at least.
Later in the night when the group rose to leave, it finally happened.
"I'm staying for a while. No need for me to return to the Temple School." the black sheep said in a low, but warning tone.
"Sister Shang, think clearly. You're a new Golden Immortal, and the Temple will not see this in a friendly way. There will be consequences..." the young master began to warn the black sheep, when the Godmother appeared.
"This will be all, Immortal Luan. You're banned in this restaurant for a million years. Now leave, before I erase your soul." Kalima said in a less polite voice.
The young master paled and just nodded, then flew away at speed, followed by a panicked group of Temple disciples.
Sunny grinned inward. Now Pef will have problems. Very soon.
Kalima threw Sunny a disappointed glance, then sat beside the black sheep. "Lady Shang, right?"
"Yes, your Highness." the girl replied in a tiny voice.
"You have a problem, young lady. The Temple can find you anywhere in the Low or Middle Heavens. Do you have a trajectory for the Upper Heavens, a House or a Sect maybe?" Kalima asked in a patient tone.
The girl looked around, as if realizing too late her predicament. "I was planning to go in the Low Heavens...hide myself."
"And have some Copper Immortal from the Temple erase that entire multiverse?" Kalima asked with a sad voice.
"They would, wouldn't they? Damn Temple bastards. Errr...." the black sheep asked silently.
"Serving meals isn't that hard. Sunny will teach you." Kalima offered with a kind smile.
"..." the black sheep blinked with confused eyes.
"..." Sunny looked at her new apprentice. Maybe her ploy didn't exactly work out.
