It was morning. The sun rose from the east, its twilight was replaced by a bright soft amber light. The city was awakened with the sound of the cars honking and beeping from a distance.
Nobara was still asleep, snoring loudly. She turned to the other side of her bed as she saw a figure of a man blocking her blurry view. She opened her eyes slowly and glared, trying to see a clearer view of the obstacle in front of her.
"Good morning, Nobara-sama!" The figure of a man in front of her greeted her with a smile and energetic manners.
"Good morning, who are you and why are you clothless?" Nobara replied petulantly.
The man sat up straight beside her then smiled. Nobara lethargically ordered him to get a rope which he obeyed. He crawled to the kitchen like a dog which gave her a real headache. She sat up and jumped out of her bed with her bed head. The man crawled back to her with a tangled rope on his mouth. He stuck his tongue out after he put the rope on her feet and waited for Nobara to pat his head but instead, she swatted his face then unconscious.
As he gained consciousness, he blinked his eyes slowly. There, stood in front of him, was a young lady still in her white pajamas. She stared into his eyes with a furious expression drawn on her face.
The man struggled trying to loosen up the rope wrapped around him. He looked into her eyes with his puppy eyes and whined.
"I'm asking you once more, who are you?! I don't recall renting a man for a nightstand," Nobara tightened the rope.
"Ouch!! Nobara-sama it's me, Yuu, your adorable little puppy!"
"Evidence?" She looked down on him with her amber eyes of a murderer.
"Woof, woof! Hehe,"
Nobara kicked his head and stepped on it as he fell on the floor. She grabbed his hair harshly then threatened him with a dagger with a handle of a golden dragon head. She knew it right from the start about Yuu being a human due to his peculiar habits.
"Your cleverness is the same level as a normal human, not a dog but that won't change the fact that you're my dog. Now tell me why were you sold in the shop? Unpopular, eh?"
"Gahh, that's not it! Fine! I'll tell you but you must release me from this torturing rope, you won't torture this adorable inconsolable animal, right?"
Nobara glared at him in a dilemma as he showed his huge dark eyes as a symbol of ruth. She eventually loosened the rope, giving him mercy. He stretched his hand and moved his fingers as if he was practicing a piano.
"So, a long long, long time ago, a very long time ago, there was a handsome-"
"Make it short, I won't waste my time on a trivial chit chat, and put on some clothes, you're too skinny," Nobara interrupted.
"Alright and stop your sarcasm, I bet you would like to have some sit, eh?"
Nobara rolled her eyes but agreed to listen to his tales. Yuu grabbed her body and forced her to sit on a chair.
_______________
There, on top of a cold raging and icy mountain, situated a small kingdom particularly the territory that belonged to the wolves races, specifically the werewolf. There was a castle made out of stone of which the interior was built inside a huge rocky cave. It was heavily guarded by strong men, or the werewolves. The kingdom was ruled by a werewolf king named King Clifford. He had seven strong and handsome princes but the youngest Prince was the most agreeable in terms of beauty and strength and his name was Nicole.
Nicole was the naughtiest prince and mischief amongst all. Under all circumstances, he was spoiled by both the king and the queen. He was a mischief but his misdeeds were uncounted because of uncontrollable devotions from his parents. The fifth prince impregnated many young women after seducing them with his charms.
"The link between you and the fifth prince impregnating uncounted women?" Nobara interrupted while raising her right hand and the other hand supported her chin.
"Let me continue, you'll know soon! Beauty was essential to Nicole that he himself had forgotten his weakness-" Yuu continued.

One day, he decided to sneak out of the palace just like he always did, but this time he went solo to the surface or in other words, the low land. There were trees and rare plants and herbs. He loved herbs the most because he heard most about them from a werewolf specialized doctor. He strolled through the thick and mesmerising forest and eventually arrived at a small hut. Colourful flowers grew around the little hut whose roof was made of straw. He saw a white cattle eating grass behind the wooden fence. He went closer to the hut and peeked through.
To his surprise, there was an old woman in black ragged robe who astonished him from behind. Greatly surprised, he jumped back. The old woman slouched but was supported by a red varnished wooden crosier. Instead of evicting him, the old woman invited him to have some beer-like drinks which she called tea but none alcoholic. She offered him some sweets, crispy and adorable food with different shapes which she called biscuit. She told him they were baked; burnt on the fire.
The difference of lifestyle between the mountain and the surface was conspicuous. The place was warm whereas his castle was always cold. As soon as they had finished their conversation. The prince decided to return back to his castle. Before he left, the old woman gave him the remaining biscuits as part of the hospitality. He received them with gratitude. He promised to visit her again once in a new moon to have some sweets and biscuits.
The next new moon, the young prince came to visit the old lady in her hut for the second time. The old woman welcomed him with courtesy then served him some tea, biscuits and sweets. Before he left, the old lady lent him a dark purple elixir in a small blue decanter made of glass which was magical. As he returned back to his castle, he was able to make lightning bolt with his bare hands after he drank the elixir. He struck it to the cloudy sky many times, creating thunder and lightning like the God Zeus did but nobody knew about this little secret.
The third new moon after the meeting, Nicole visited the old woman again in the form of a wolf. The old lady was astonished by his presence as a big grey wolf. He transformed back into a human figure. He told the lady that he was originally a werewolf and they lived in harmony on top of the icy mountain. Without further questions, the lady welcomed him warmly like before. Nicole's arrival made her feel warm and she finally admitted how much she loved him and how much she wished for him to stay longer with her.
Nicole as a young and handsome prince was disgusted by her words but didn't know how to reject them. He couldn't imagine himself marrying an old hag. He made another promise to marry the old hag once the blue moon was raised.
"That is impossible, my love! Blue moon never exist except the red moon but the red moon is when the vampire fully gain their power,"
"Yes, the blue moon rises every century and this year, I presume, is the 10th decade. We will get married as soon as it shines on the dark starry sky,"
"But you must promise me that you will return and marry me. If you were to marry another young woman, you will face severe consequences for your deceitfulness," the old woman conveyed in sorrow.
Nicole smiled and guaranteed the deals but he crossed his middle and index fingers behind his back.
"Boo! I foresee what shall happen next, boo! Boring! You shouldn't have come to visit your grandma just for food, boo! And what's the link with the fifth prince?!" Nobara showed Yuu a thumb-down gesture while sticking her tongue out.
"Kkkkkkkee, Nobara-sama are you listening or not?! Her biscuits were delicious and you should also try it one day!!" Yuu berated her but agreed to proceed.
Two weeks had passed in a blink of eyes, the shimmering full moon shone brightly on the dark starry night sky. The werewolves fully gained their strength and power. They left their kingdom to seek and hunt for their prey. The manoeuvre was led by the eldest prince, the crown prince, then they moved down to the surface. Nicole decided to stay in the castle with the other young and weak werewolves.
Rather than being a guardian, he was a coward because of his promise with the old hag. He didn't expect that his lie had become real according to the legend of wolves.
Once in a century, the blue moon rose up high in the middle of the starry night sky. It was bright and its iridescent royal blue dim light lit up the sky. Everything was blue in colour, the old hag watered her wilted blue flower which then turned to ashes as the royal blue ray of the moonlight shone on it. She waited for Nicole but he didn't come. She waited and waited until she realised that she was fooled by him. Furious in anguish, she flew to the top of the mountain with her magic broom.
On top of the mountain, the old hag intruded the castle where the whole noble and royal blood werewolves gathered in the court for the royal blue moon ceremony. The old hag saw Nicole sitting on his wooden baroque chair, she immediately landed on her feet then ran into his direction but then she fell flat on her face. Nicole laughed then followed by the others. Bashful with ire on the floor, she stood up then floated on the air. The whole laughter was broken into silence. Bright red rays and green sparkles shone brightly around the old hag. By their surprise, she was Sheena the greatest and the most powerful ancient witch who gained immortality for her unforgivable sin.
Nicole, trying to escape his fate, kneeled then begged Sheena for mercy.
"It's too late, Your Highness. A heart which is once broken will be hard to be treated!"
Sheena created a blue flame on her palm then blew it to Nicole where he floated on the air, trapped in a sphere of dark blue, red and green smoke then landed back on the floor as a little black Siberian husky. Sheena then cursed the whole kingdom into unbreakable ice. Nicole was no more a werewolf but a pathetic little puppy where every woman who loved him would face lethal calamity and even death. Unable to find the way to break the curse, Nicole lived for many centuries as a little puppy, losing his love and hope.
"And that is the end of the werewolf clan, the end," Nicole closed a thick hardcover book as if he was telling Nobara a tale from the book itself.
He jumped in surprise as he saw her snoring loudly with a huge light blue bubble of snot kept increasing and decreasing from her nasal cavity.
