There was a small faint humming noise as Fulbrik's Bracer enlightened the entire room with a soft green glow. But this time, there were no Alien symbols; rather, there was a mid-air projection coming straight out of the top of the contraption.
"That's so fucking cool," Rae thought, as he blinked with eyes of wonderment. "Is that a Denarii graph?" (Denarius / Denarii is the basic unit of currency for modern Romas society.)
"Though I am not very good with Mathematics," Fulbrik said, and gave a small wincing expression as he remembered the Trigonometry class, "luckily my Aesensiris is!" Fulbrik smiled widely, and tapped at his bracer proudly like he was a genius.
"I was able to find a useful protocol last night, with which I artificially lowered the price of some of your rarer commodities. Then after having borrowed some of Rae's currency, I was able to invest heavily in said commodities before returning them to their original prices! I was able to acquire us an acceptable level of funds to continue our operations, Young Master!"
"Oh my fucking! Dude, you were the one that did that? It was all over the fucking news this morning. They're calling the market blip of the century! You could have been exposed, what if they trace it back to you?" Rae swore, profusely, at his clumsy giant Alien friend.
"Shit I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you, Fuly, don't give me that look..." Rae apologized, as he looked at the emotionally hurt Fulbrik. "It's just this was really careless and you could have asked—" Rae stopped as he realized, what to him, was a more important detail of Fulbrik's deed. "How much of my money did you use, exactly? Rae's eyes narrowed, his ears twitched, and his tail flicked in great annoyance.
"All of it," Fulbrik replied, as he tapped his bracer again, "however, I have more than enough to return to you with interest, of course! We have several million Denarii, would you like a million or two?"
Rae's jaw dropped as he looked at the new holographic depiction of a bank account before him. "That's 7 million Denarii!!! Holy Shit!"
"You see I was very careful not to be greedy, had I generated several billion I thought perhaps it would draw too much attention."
"Ok, you are a bit of a Genius... sometimes, I'll admit. But no, I can't accept a million Denarii, that'd be way too suspicious man. How about you just give me back what you took plus say..." Ray suddenly thought back to the mugging he'd received earlier that week. "...a couple hundred bucks?"

"Certainly, but more to the point, I believe this will be adequate for our needs. But I was waiting to tell you, because I am not yet sure which of these hotels we should stay at. Surely we should pick one nearby so as to have better access to reach the school? I was hoping you could help us determine a suitable location, Sir Rae."
Rae sat down and looked at his phone as his tail began to swish in excitement. "I think this one will work, it's pretty fancy, so I'm sure Prince-face will like it." Rae teased, and held up his phone to show the Guardian.
Dasnir had not been paying much attention, but upon hearing Rae's playful remark, he glanced over at Rae as if he were considering whether to take offense or not.
"We do not have to find one close to the school. We do not need to return to it now, obviously." Dasnir said, rather smugly and looked away from Rae.
"I think we should still stay, Young Master." Fulbrik interjected swiftly. "Though it may not be physically necessary, I think we will be at a tactical disadvantage if we begin our search for the weapon before learning a bit more of this world's culture and customs..." His voice trailed off slowly and he looked at the ground while mumbling. "I also quite like literature class."
At this moment, Rae thought that if Fulbrik were capable of blushing from embarrassment, this would have surely been an apt catalyst. He gave a small grin at the flustered Guardian.
"I uhh... I like having you guys around." Rae said quietly. "It would mean alot to me if you were to stay nearby..." He ran his hand along the back of his hair nervously, and looked away for a moment. "You know, so we could uhh hang out and stuff."
"Whatever 'hang out' means, I am sure Warriors do not do so. Hmmph." Dasnir rebuffed, attempting to shut down Rae's needy plea.
The Prince briefly looked over at Rae out of the corner of his eye. "But I believe Fulbrik has a valid point, unfortunately. I refuse to stay any longer than what is needed, to learn of your primitive species. We must find the weapon as soon as possible." He said, in a rather exasperated tone.
The Prince unfolded his arm and got up. "Well let's go, don't just sit there. We must travel to this new home."
Soon after, Rae called a taxi service. A thirty minute long, mostly awkward, car ride with Fulbrik squished between the two younger boys in the back middle seat, followed. And as the Trio were heading up the elevator to the presidential suite of the Roan Maxis Hotel, a little shadow stealthily followed behind them.
"What the hell is Rae doing with those transfer students?" Abigail thought as she entered the elevator, in hot pursuit of her deceiving friend. "Why did he bring them to a Maxis Hotel? Rae what did you get yourself into? If you're using Tranqs again, I'm gonna be pissed. What if that psychopath Ronnie catches you here at one of his Dad's properties? Why didn't you say something to me? Whatever happened while I was gone, I'm going to help you... I'm sorry, I Should have known better than to leave you alone in this city by yourself for 2 months..."
