Kenya Gordia, a human, 16 years old, lived most of her life in a country called England and later moved into another, bigger country called America. Her soul originates from a tier 0 planet called Earth and has a possibility of unlocking her magi powers.
She has shoulder lenght black hair and an extremely boyish face and looks, so much so that very few know of her true gender. Her parents died in a car accident when she was 12, and since then she lived with her somewhat abusive uncles.
All of the history of the young (wo)man in the entity's hand were revealed in less then a split second by barely looking at her. The entity smiled widely and brought the girl over to it's hidden plane, all the while sending messages to all the 'other'.
Although it had only ever descended onto the common world a couple of times, the entity was extremely experienced in dealing with the barrier that separated them from the common world, so it had no issue at all.
The reason it had reacted so hastily was only obvious to itself and the 'other'. It knew that it shouldn't have scared the girl so badly, but it was afraid that one of the many enemies 'they' had would kill her before she could grow properly.
As the gigantic hand disappeared into the skies, all the onlookers could only look with falling jaws as an even bigger crack appeared in space and the hand entered it, girl and all.
On the other side of the crack, a beautifully decorated room filled with beautiful artwork could be seen. On it, an elderly man with that exuded an overly mysterious aura retracted the hand into his body in a strange manner, and carefully placed the girl on one of the sofas present.
With a sweep of his soul force, he confirmed his earlier discovery. This girl was indeed a possible magus, but he still couldn't be sure if her level of talent was enough for her to become like 'them'.

Not that talent mattered. 'They' could still properly nurture her even with a shitty talent, although he somewhat doubted that such was the case, as he could feel something strange about her, and this was the good kind of strange.
Soon, terrifying presences began to make their way into the room, manifesting into human bodies. Only after a total of 7 people were in the room did the old man speak out, breaking the cold, tense silent.
"It's a success, she indeed is a magus like us."
Immediately, all hell broke loose and the other 6 people began to cheer and shout. "I thought we went extinct, how did one of us appear?" "Fresh blood is always welcome!" "600.000 years! Six hundred thousand fucking years we've been waiting for this!"
The old man himself could barely contain his joy. His face finally showed hope after hundreds of thousands of years of struggles and humiliations.
However, a voice resounded out from amongst the group, coming from a beautiful young girl that wasn't quite human, as a pair of angelic wings sprouted from her back. "Gentlemen, I would suggest you all calm down and retract your radiations, least it kills her."
The 6 other entities nodded and the air, which previously felt extremely heavy, relaxed.
The angelic girl nodded and walked up to the girl and put a hand on her head before closing her own eyes. A couple minutes later, she opened her eyes once again and backpedaled a bit.
Almost immediately after, Kenya opened her eyes and looked around. Although her face remained apathetic, her muscles tensed and she shuffled back further into the sofa.
Seeing her reaction, the angelic girl called out in a soft, almost motherly voice "Calm down, nobody will hurt you here. You're safe." Kenya visibly relaxed a bit, completely unconsciously.
The old man looked at the angel with a skeptical look. He had told them that using any magic, even helpful one on the girl would be best if it was done later one, after her body had already developed it's own foundation, but the angel had evidently ignored this, which left him a bad aftertaste.
"W-why am I here? Who are you people? Ah, whatever, I don't care anymore..." She said with a with a barely audible whisper at the end. The old man already knew that it would be hard for her, considering everything that had happened today on her, so he gently took her hand, ignoring the vicious looks the others sent him and said
"We're what will become your family."
