Luckily, Katara reappeared in an alleyway where she was alone. The voice must have done this intentionally. She walked out into the city and asked around for toph. Finally, she found a man a large man with a beard of fire (Katara hoped that was a normal occurrence in this world), accompanied by a teen boy, and asked him about Toph.

He gave her the most hateful glare she had ever laid eyes upon.

He tried to drag the boy away with him. The boy didn't leave. Finally, the man walked away.

"You should have better taste in women"

"Not on your life"

The boy had hair half white and half red (katara hoped this wasn't a normal occurrence in this world), and a burn similar to Zuko's but not nearly as ugly. You could almost mistake it for a birthmark.

Boy: I'm Todoroki. Sorry about my dad. I haven't seen Toph.

Meanwhile...

Sokka wasn't so lucky. He appeared on the ceiling of a restricted area in a high school. When he fell, someone heard him. He had to run away as he was chased out by guards. He lost them in a bedroom closet. Inside was a red scythe, two swords, and yellow gauntlets.

He had to hide in there while they discussed the weird dreams of a certain Yang Xiaolong and Ruby Rose.

Ruby: I swear, I saw a person I met in a dream. Well, not met. He still doesn't know me.

Yang: And I actually had a dream you said that.

Ruby: Woah, future dream inception.

Blake: Is this the dream guy?

She had found Sokka hiding.

Meanwhile...

Aang was not particularly lucky or unlucky. He was in a fairly public area and people were caught by surprise around him. He had forgotten to bring his glider, so he had to ride away in a bubble of air.

As he was riding, he passed by a billboard with a picture of a perfume bottle, the word Adrien, and an attractive blonde boy, only a few years older than Aang, smiling way too wide to be real.

His guitar fell and broke in half.

Aang: I'm so sorry!

"It's okay. Don't pick it up, I'll get it.

But he didn't look okay. He bent down and picked up the pieces.

Aang made another air bubble, quickly rode away, and almost bumped into a girl with blue pigtails and a pink purse, and she dropped a letter she was holding.

Aang: Sorry. I have got to stop doing that.

He picked up the letter and gave it to her. It was addressed to an Adrien Agreste.

Aang: I'm guessing this is important.

Marinette: Not really.

Adrien Agreste: Hi Marinette.

Marinette: Adrien!

Adrien had just come out of a limousine. A massive man with grey sideburns followed him out, and a calm, stoic woman was at the wheel.

Marinette smiled nervously and put her hand behind her head. As he walked past Marinette and through the gates to his massive house.

Marinette waved good-bye far too many times while grinning like an idiot.

Aang: You forgot to give him the letter.

Marinette: What!?

She ran through the gates right before they closed.

Adrien turned around.

Marinette: Take this.

Adrien: Okay. I'll read it when I get inside.

Marinette: Great! Can weight hardly, I mean weightly hard, I mean hardly wait.

Adrien: Should I read it now then?

Marinette: No! I... Just don't read it here.

She pushed him into his own house and through his door.

Marinette turned around to leave and found she was locked in. Then Aang air-lifted her over the fence, and she nearly fell over.

"I'm Aang by the way"

"Marinette"

Then there was a loud crash and people panicking.

Katara: So what happened to your face? If it's not too rude to ask.

Todoroki: I've never heard that question before. Most people just assume this is normal.

He was jumping around, taking voices from strangers by touching their lips.

Aang: Who are you?

He lunged and Aang dodged.

He lifted his hand and moved it in mimic of his words. The voice that came out did not match his body

Meanwhile...

Blake: That was quite the story.

Ruby: So Toph... what does she look like.

Sokka: Black hair up in a bun, wearing green, grayed out eyes, about yea high, ego and snark like 3 times that size... your eyes are also grey. They don't look blind though. Why is that?

Ruby: It's silver eyes. I'm told they're important, but I don't know why.

Weiss: I take it you won't be able to show your face after that stunt. You're not even a student.

Ruby: In that case... I promise I'll find her and bring her here since you can't.

Sokka: That's a big thing to promise.

Ruby: I know. So I guess I should get to it.

Meanwhile...

Katara had rounded the whole city. She was certain toph wasn't here. She suddenly regretted this. What if she wasn't in the next town? What if she wasn't in this whole nation? What if she traveled the whole world and she wasn't in it? What if she went to another dimension too fast and missed her in the next village over? What if-

The silencer swung and the hand kissed his lips. Aang swung at him and missed.

Then a ladybug print yoyo came into view and wrapped around the silencer, locking him in. There was a ladybug print superheroine on the other end of it. Next to her was a black cat-themed superhero.

Hero: What's your plan m'lady"

Heroine: First I'll do this.

She pulled the yoyo, and the silencer spun in circles as he was pulled until the yoyo had completely unraveled from him, leaving him almost dizzy enough to fall over.

Heroine: And don't call me m'lady. I think the Akuma is in the guitar.

Hero: Get the guitar. Got it.

The black cat hero ran towards him, spinning his staff and striking the silencer's shoulder. He fell over the hero lowered his hand and swiped at his helmet.

"Cataclysm"

The silencer lifted his helmet. He tried to pull away but ended up striking his eyes out. The cataclysm turned them into black ash and they fell out. He put the helmet back on.

Hero: Oh my god, I'm so sorry.

Silencer: Don't be. I can hear where you are just fine.

And with that, he struck again. He pulled up the heros' hand and tried to pull his ring off, the finger being forcibly bent in one clean move. Ladybug came in from behind and pulled his hand away, giving cat noir enough time to get away.

"I guess I'll have to do everything myself. Lucky charm!"

She swung her yoyo up, a punch of red petals moved in a circle up and around her string and then made something. It was a ladybug printed voice recorder.

"It feels like this should be the easiest lucky charm to use, but I still have no idea how to use it right now"

Silencer: You shouldn't. Instead, you should turn over your miraculous. Then I'll leave you alone of course.

Heroine: Never!

She turned around and ran. Aang followed her to see what would happen. The silencer gave chase. Ladybug was so fast Aang had to use another Air bubble to catch up. He was getting better at going around pedestrians.

Heroine: I take it he took your voice, too?

Aang nodded.

Heroine: You don't seem to be from here. The air thing. I can't really tell you my name, but you can call me Ladybug. Call him cat noir.

She pointed, and sure enough, there was the black cat hero following them. Then she got a text. Her yo-yo was also a phone sometimes, just like cat noirs staff. She opened it:

Ladybug: Everyone split up.

There were a bunch of people all lined up in front of the school, each one meeting most of the requirements to be Toph.

Ruby walked across the line of them and asked them all the same thing.

And you know how his son got that scar? was rather frightened of him after some of the horrible things he did. She wanted nothing to do with him. She was even afraid of the right side of his son's face since it was the part that inherited his hair. And one day she was boiling water... and it got so hot... and she was crying... and that right eye of his was just so ugly... she almost instantly regretted it. She's put away in a looney bin now. He visits often"

Katara: Why should I believe anything you say.

Voice: You shouldn't, but you should trust him.

Then she found todoroki.

Todoroki: I didn't really find anything. I'm sorry.

Katara: You don't have to keep searching. I don't think she's here. I've heard some things about you... and your dad... are they true?

Meanwhile...

Aang went left, bumping into ladybug a bit and wishing he could apologize, ladybug went forward, breathing far too heavy, and cat noir went right, feeling his finger. The silencer went after cat noir, following him around several buildings. Then for just a moment, he lost track of him. He felt around hoping to hear something. He finally found someone, but it turned out to be Adrien agreste instead.

He went the other way and found two of Ladybug's voice. The first was saying this:

"Could I record your voice on this?"

Silencer swung at one voice and didn't find ladybug. It must have been a recording. The other voice moved away so fast it seemed to teleport. He pursued it. He could hear the heavy breathing. He was closing in on it. Finally, it had stopped. He then got there and struck. Whatever he was hitting, it had snapped clean in half, and its voice floated out in an incorporeal form. That's when he realized that there was no blood on his hand. He hadn't hit a person. He'd hit the tape and a rover.

Then there were feet on his back and pulling at his guitar strap. Someone was pulling it off. He ran backward and smashed the persons back into the nearest wall. There was more pulling. His chest was so tight. Then the strap snapped off. There was a loud crash. His guitar had been ruined again.

From Ladybug's perspective, the events were quite different. Aang gave him back the yoyo phone she had slipped him, and Ladybug gave Cat noir his staff phone. She went outside and threw the broken tape into the air, screaming, "miraculous ladybug!"

Then there were glowing rose petals everywhere. They spun around holes in walls, craters in floors, and on the metal guitar, healing them all. Finally, it went around the silencer, removing his motorcycle suit and leaving behind the boy from before.

Boy: What happened?

Ladybug: You were akumatized again.

Boy: I hope this doesn't become a pattern.

Aang: I guess I can go now. I have someone to meet.

Aang walked away and started searching for Toph again. Then he heard something interesting.

"Hey hero, there's a break-in"

Aang: Where?

"This way"

Aang: Where are you?

"Everywhere and nowhere"

Aang: Ugh. It's you again. Why are you doing this?

"I just want to show you something. Head to the Agreste manor. But take this first"

He dropped Aangs glider from nothing and into the ground.

Aang: Hmmm...

He took it and flew it to the Agreste house. He went around it and went to the back. There he saw Ladybug, going through the window into his bedroom. She was taking Marinette's letter.

Meanwhile...

Ruby got back to her bunk and Sokka was gone. Instead, there was a note:

Dear team RWBY, the beacon academy would like to remind you that non-students were not allowed in dorms even with student permission. Also, due to his attempted break-in, he will not be welcome to visit this school until further notice.

P.S. He was asking about a rather important rock with symbols on it. Do you know anything about that?

Ruby: But he didn't break-in, he teleported and got there by accident.

Weiss: And that will go over perfectly with Professor Ozpin.

Ruby: You have a point. I bet he's waiting outside.

And out they went to find him.

Meanwhile...

"Endeavor!"

It was raining heavily, but then it wasn't.

The raindrops were frozen in the air. They froze in the street and the droplets shifted towards him. He steamed them away with a circle of fire, and the steam returned with persistence. The circle was closing. Katara walked towards the circle as it got smaller and smaller.

Then she was knocked over from the side. The circle broke.

Someone was on top of her. He seemed to be made partly of wood.

Endeavor shot at her and she made a wall of water. She moved the wall forward and it went around him. The woodman broke through the ice by growing wood out from parts of her body. They went towards her and she pulled the water from them. He writhed in agony as the branches shriveled and fell off. She wasn't going to do that again.

She launched the water at Endeavor and it went around his face and body. Then she was kicked in the face and flung across the street. She was now looking at a giant woman.

Woman: She's almost beat the symbol of peace. What kind of power is this?"

Treeman: She killed my branches. She could have killed me then but she chose not to"

Woman: I'm guessing she could kill all of us if she wanted. Why would she want to take down the number one hero nonviolently?

Number one hero?

Then there was ice, plunged straight for katara. She was laying on the dulled tip of a big moving icicle. A mystery hooded figure was running up its shaft. When he got to the top he burned away at the whole thing starting with the tip so it would melt and katara would slide off. She slid through an open door into an ice tent. The figure slid down the melting ice into the tent and the last remaining piece plugged the entrance.

Katara: Who are you?

The figure lowered the hood he was wearing. It was todoroki.

Meanwhile...

Aang flew in through the open window.

Aang: What are you doing here?

Ladybug: What are you doing here?

Aang: Wondering what you're doing here.

Ladybug: Uh... Darn! You caught me. I'm Adrien's sister.

"He doesn't have a sister"

Ladybug: Who said that?

Aang: It doesn't matter. What I wanna know is what you're doing to Marinette's letter.

Ladybug: Who cares?

Aang: I care.

Ladybug: It's not your business.

Aang: It's not yours either.

Ladybug: It's not your business what's my business.

She ran out through the window and swung away.

Aang: That doesn't make sense.

Aang chased after her but she was long gone.

Katara: What? Why did you stop me? How is he the number one hero? What does that even mean?

Todoroki: It means what it sounds like. Anyway, don't remind me. It was bad enough when he was the second-best hero.

Katara: Let me out of this. I can't let him hurt you again.

Todoroki: He hasn't hurt me in years. Even if you win, this will only tear apart my family.

Katara: But I can't let him get away with this.

Todoroki: Where will I even go when he's not providing for me? I can't get a job, and I'm not going into the foster care system.

Katara: But I'm trying to help you!

Todoroki: I never asked for your help! You are a fugitive now and it's all your fault. Now let me help you. Take this.

He gave her his hoodie and a pair of baggy jeans.

Todoroki: Endeavor has probably gone home. Leave the city. Don't try to figure out where he is. You can't.

Katara put on the clothes over what she was wearing and went to the door.

They exchanged a tense look, and she left.

Meanwhile...

Aang meditated. Would he even make it to the spirit world around here? He decided on something easier. He summoned Avatar Roku, who came to him as a spirit. Avatar Roku was one of his past lives.

Roku: Why have you called me?

Aang: I don't have anyone else to contact. I don't know what to do next. I'm searching for toph, and it led me here.

Roku: I've said already, I know nothing of other worlds. But I will say this: when Firelord Ozai declared himself the phoenix king and was about to burn away the earth kingdom, you were conflicted about what to do. You knew he was a monster that deserved punishment, but he also a man who deserved life. You stayed on an island for days, searching for a nonviolent resolution to this conflict. All your past lives told you to kill him, and you finally chose to do it. But then the lion turtle came and gave you a way out. There are no lion turtles here. If you ever find yourself with a tough decision like that to make, you'll have to do it.

And with that, Roku was gone.

Meanwhile...

Team RWBY eventually found Sokka. He was waiting on the sidewalk.

Weiss: I threw out your rock by mistake.

Sokka: WHAT!

Ruby: Why would you do that!

Weiss: How was I to know it would be important?

Ruby: It had stuff carved into it, dummy! You a don't exactly find that lying around.

She turned to Sokka.

Ruby: So where are you going to stay?

Sokka: I don't really have anywhere to live. I mostly travel a lot.

Weiss: So you're a bum! So Ruby just convinced me to let a bum stay in my room just because you dreamed about him!

She looked at ruby accusingly.

Sokka: whatever, where's the rock?

Blake: Being taken to the dumpster apparently.

And sure enough there was a garbageman taking the garbage out of the school.

Sokka: Wait! There's something important in there! It was thrown out by mistake.

And then he ran after him.

Weiss: See, now he's looking through the trash.

Ruby: He wouldn't be looking through the trash if you didn't throw out his stuff!

Weiss: It's. A. Rock!

Ruby: So is a diamond!

Weiss: There's a difference!

Ruby: Is not!

Weiss: Is too!

And they kept squabbling like that as Sokka faded into the distance.

Meanwhile...

Toph didn't know how lucky or unlucky she was because she woke up locked in a closet and had no idea where. The closet was floating so it was all she could sense around her. It was also wooden, so she couldn't bend it.

It was clearly designed for her.

Voice didn't care about luck. He wanted to change things up. He decided to take 5 more people this time. Izuku Midoriya, yang xiao long, Chloe bourgeois, Ciel Phantomhive, and Velma Dinkley.
