Byuksan Middle School

Byuksan Middle School

-----------

(1st Person POV)

Byuksan Middle School...

From the information in my head, this school is the number one school for admission in the science field for high school. It allows students to be able to study and prepare to enter the top high schools.

(13 Science High Schools and 18 International High Schools).

It is a co-ed school but the classes are divided by sex. Girls and boys can only meet each other in the halls, fields and cafeteria.

I stood in front of the main gate of the school. A pretty standard school, though it is extremely luxurious, as expected of one of the top middle schools.

As I didn't know the class I was in. I walked towards the reception to talk with the person in charge.

I stood in front of the wooden desk. The man who I presume is the receptionist, was talking on the phone.

I stood in front of him and I knocked on the table to gain his attention.

And it did work when he glanced at me, as he registered my presence and moved his head in an upward motion to ask why am I standing there.

I asked him urgently, "Can you inform me about my class? I think the first period is going to start soon. I am the student who is getting transferred today."

He spoke to the person on the other side of the telephone receiver, " Yeah, sorry Mr Wang. I will call you later."

He sets down the receiver of the phone.

The receptionist asked for my details inquiringly.

I replied to him about my grade, my name and my admission number which was on my ID Card.

He picked up the receiver, dialled a number and said, "Vice Principal Choi, the student you had told me about is here at the receptionist. Please send his student file to me on my email."

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

After the call ended, he checked his computer and said, "You will be in Mr Jerry Bang's classroom. It is the classroom 3-4. This is a note I am giving to you. Provide it to Mr Jerry Bang and he will know that you have been transferred today. Though your stay here will be short. Hope you enjoy your stay in this school and study hard. You just have to go to the left hallway from this reception and the third classroom from the start is the class you will be studying in."

I replied to him, "Thank You Very Much. Hope you have a nice day."

Before entering the doorway, I heard a gruff and unpleasant voice say, "Bryce Oh".

Someone replied, "Present Sir."

I stepped through the door of my new classroom and entered it.

The moment I entered, all the attention of the students and the teacher alike went on to me. I walked towards the teacher and handed him the note regarding my situation.

While he read the note, I inspected the classroom.

The classroom was dual-painted with white and blue colours, giving a cosy and pleasant feel to it. There were 4 rows and 5 desks in each row. There were currently 19 students in the classroom so the seat at the end of the row along with the window should be mine.

After he read the note, he wrinkled his nose in annoyance.

He gruffs again and announced in a loud voice, " Students, this is a student who is transferring to our school today."

There was a sudden chatter between the students a looks of curiosity went my way.

The Homeroom Teacher then said in an authoritative tone, "Quiet everyone. Attendance has not yet finished for the day. "

He pointed at me and said, "You need to introduce yourself as well. "

I cleared my voice and said with a confident tone, "Hello everyone. My name is Felix Shin. I am 15 years old. I like to play sports and listen to music. I hope I can have a good time with all of you. Thank you for having me!"

After that, Jerry Bang waved me away, " Yeah, Yeah. Pleasantries are over. Now go and sit at the end of the first row, behind Stephen Ahn."

I walked toward my seat and sat on it while admiring the environment of the classroom.

A handsome student with red hair in front of me was looking at me with friendliness teeming from his eyes.

I moved my hand towards him and said in a friendly tone, " Hi, My name is Felix Shin. Nice to meet you. Are you Stephen Ahn? "

He smiled and shook my hand pleasantly, " Yeah, nice to meet you, Felix. You can call me Stephen. If you have any problems settling up in this class, then you can talk to me whenever you want."

I replied with a hint of gratefulness in my voice, "Thanks for your offer, Stephen. I will surely come to you if I face some issues."

He turned forward and concentrated in the front. I swept my eyes around myself and observed the other students.

I could see some students at the back of other rows snickering between themselves as they were looking at me. I could see a grey-haired student whose eyes nearly bore a hole in the book. Even when I entered the class, I do not recall him looking at me.

'Wait, if I focus on the hair colour of these people. Why do so many students have different-coloured hair? Are they genetic or are they dyed? If they are dyed then why are 14-15-year-olds dying their hair at such a young age???'

Pushing this inconsequential thought to the back of my head, I took out my books and tried to study as I wanted to recall the things that I had studied in my previous life which I could remember surprisingly.

(Gray Yeon POV)

Bryce feels like he is drifting away from me and Stephen. Why is he now trying to bully other students? He is now even mingling with the wrong group to try to look cool. He seems influenced by his stupid pride and has damaging thoughts to his personality.

Doesn't it feel like he is getting an inferiority complex due to Stephen? Maybe this is why he tries to feed his ego by bullying others.

No, these may just be the result of my overthinking.

Yes, surely his talk about Stephen being dumb and a loser is just my delusions.

He is still one of my friends.

Our Friend.

However, today was a different day than normal.

A student transferred to our school. Why is a student transferring nearly at the end of the session? He seems like a normal person who is confident in himself and happy to join our school.

He sat behind Stephen and as Stephen is to everyone, he is also friendly to the new student. He also reciprocates Stephen's nice gesture.

The teacher started teaching and I focused on my book to study.
