What Kakuto/Mina was doing

I rushed to the slums where I saw the giant flameball. This must be where Machi and Hana are.
However, I can see four souls. Two of them are Machi and Hana. The other two are foreign to me.
One of them is white, but with a red aura around it. Could this be the one Machi was looking for?
The other is white as well, however I can feel a disgusting aura from that soul.
It was enough to make me vomit blood.
Do I have blood? I still don't dare to find out though. I. Hate. Pain.
Reaching the house on flames, I entered the house.
Using [Water Manipulation], I extinguished the flames in the house as I treaded carefully.
I can absorb water from the air through forceful condensation of water vapour. Such a convinient skill.
I dampened the cloth covering the baby with a little water to protect her from the fire. She struggled a little bit, probably because the sudden sensation of water suddenly being poured onto her. But, she quickly settled down afterwards.
I head a sudden explosion from the second floor. I got to hurry.
Walking up the burning stairs at a quick pace while dodging the debris falling from the roof, I made it to the second floor. Entering the room where I located the souls in, what I saw was Hana crying and a large hole in the building.
I walked towards Hana while carrying the sleeping baby.

I placed my hand on Hana's shoulder.

But suddenly, a black shadow engulfed him entirely, swallowing him into the ground.

Aah, Machi suddenly turned to look at us.
"Please, save Mama!"
*Gulp* Oi oi Hana, aren't you giving me quite a little big responsibility here?
Okay, how ]am I going to calm Machi down without injuring her...

"Hana! Hold this baby and protect her!"

"No buts! Hurry, or you guys may get injured!"

I passed the baby to Hana and she put up her forcefield.
To be honest, I checked her status when I met them for the first time, and she had this skill.

Grants in invincible shield to the holder of this skill. This skill is the highest quality out of all other defence skills. The shield can be freely manipulated as the user desires, but the damage done on the shield reduces the energy of the user proportionately.
With this knowledge, I know that she will be able to protect the baby no matter what, although I'm worried about her stamina.
