When you see a fairy in front of you, you would expect that she can fly right? Well I expected it.

I stood up. I thought that Nixie will fly from my chest, but she just widen her eyes and was about to fall. Naturally I catch her before she managed hit the ground.

“Can’t fairies fly?” (Fluffy)

“... Well, they can, but I ....” (Nixie)

She seems to force herself, so it can’t be good.

“You don’t have to say it if you don’t want to. Is something wrong with your wings? Is it some old injury or illness?” (Fluffy)

I wonder what’s wrong. I use I skill. It said that I can cure all injury.

“ ... Injury, not too old one.” (Nixie)

Well maybe it’s something different. For now I won’t press it further.

“So where do you want to ride?” (Fluffy)

“R..ride?” (Nixie)

“Well you can’t fly and by foot you wouldn’t able to catch up with me. So do you wanna ride on my shoulder, head or on my hand?” (Fluffy)

“S-shoulder would do.” (Nixie)

She said while looking down.

“Ok.” (Fluffy)

I said with smile and put her on my shoulder. She reddens and looked at ground, but when she does it she immediately grabbed my hair.

“Is it too high for you?” (Fluffy)

“N-no it’s just that I’m not used to be this high while not flying.” (Nixie)

“You don’t have to fear anything. I will catch you before you manage to hit the ground.” (Fluffy)

She was looking at me, but looked away while blushing. So cute.

After our small exchange I ask Nixie for more information about this world.

Basically it’s like this. This world is big and when I say big I mean 5 times of Earth at least. There is time system and it’s exactly like on Earth. There are 2 seasons. The dry season and the rain season at least in this forest.

Name of this forest is Great forest of life. It’s because this forest takes up half the land. The rest are deserts, tundra’s and normal area inhabited by humans.

The Great forest of life is divided to 2 parts the middle part, where Treants and Elves lives and the rest, where lives Beastmen. There are many kinds of Beastmen. Main are dog-people, cat-people, herbivores, centaurs, limias, arachnes. Two last ones are female tribe only.

I wonder why Nixie didn’t tell anything about her tribe. Well eventually she will talk.

And just like that we were able to travel thou forest. Nixie on my shoulder holding on my hair and I walked toward our destination.

“It’s starting to get dark.” (Fluffy)

“We should stop and try light a fire.” (Nixie)

“Yep, I will do it.” (Fluffy)

Even if I sound do confident I don’t have a lighter so I have to think about something. I put Nixie down. She somehow reluctantly part with my hand.

I tried rubbing two sticks, but it wasn’t enough. Nixie was looking at me with interest.

Fuck it. What is principle of fire? When you apply heat to a fuel, it produces a gas. This gas, combined with oxygen in the air, burns.

With this in mind I try out my second ability. The true magic.

“True magic” I said while imagining heat, enough heat to light a oxygen around wood.

It worked.

We talk a bit more about this world mainly I’m really looking forward to meeting Beastmen.

The second day morning I woke up earlier than Nixie, who somehow slept in my hand. I was really surprised to find her there. It should be too hot.

I was just lying and thinking. Why I wasn’t able to heal her wings? Was it because of something serious? I have one more chance, but I don’t want to do it.

Well I will just thing about it later.

Still I looked really ridiculous. As I didn’t have enough skill level I transform to 158 cm high fairy with ridiculously big butterfly wings on my back. Ouch my wings hurt. Maybe this is why she slept on her stomach.

I touch her wings and again activated sacrificing healing.

Hmm my hp didn’t decrease, but my mp is cut in half interesting. My lower wings disappear. So this was the reason. I didn’t have wings so I couldn’t cure hers.

She wakes up with my finger still on her wings. She nearly jumped from my hand I had to keep her still so she doesn’t hurt herself.

“W-what are you doing? Are you going to tear out my wings like the others?” (Nixie)

She said with panicked face and tears in her small eyes.

“And here I thought you were different. I even let my guard down!” (Nixie)

I was silent and wait for her to calm down after that I opened my hand and let her go.

She stood up and blankly stared at my angry face.

“I wouldn’t anything like that to anyone. I just cure you this time completely.” (Fluffy)

She tried to move a little and was surprised to find her second pair of wings has been repaired. Nixie again looked to my eyes and started swinging her wings. She flew from my hand closer to my face.

“.... S-sorry I just thought that... never mind, thank you.” (Nixie)

“I’m sorry for not treating you before, but my skill was on cool down. So are you willing to tell me what’s happened to you?” (Fluffy)

And she talked. She told me what hardship happened to her before I find her. The more she talked, the more I wanted to punish them. I guess I will have to change my destination for a while. There will flow blood.

Nixie POV

I don’t even know when I did become a prisoner. We fairies aren’t so welcomed. We are small and weak so we are only kept as pet sometimes in better cases. In worst case we are kept as living alchemist source.

Our wings contain all of our magic so when someone tears them out our magic is in them. I have my lower wings tear out, but I manage to run away. They were chasing me and because I couldn’t fly they have a real chance to catch me again. So I jumped to abyss of trees.

I survived, but I ironically fall on thorn so now there wasn’t anything what could save me.

When suddenly something incredibly big fell from sky, It was demi-human with silver hair. He looked at me. I’m scared. I can’t do anything if he decides to just tear out my remaining wings and end my misery.

He had more of curios look in his eyes. I asked him what his name is.

What? That’s ridiculous. He is named Fluffy. Why Fluffy? He indeed looks fluffy.

Ah that hurts. When he saw my blood he picked me up in his hand. Ah I don’t care anymore it’s not like I can do anything about it.

He lightly touches my injury and says something.

My injury is gone! The pain is gone too. I looked at Fluffy, he has satisfied smile on his face.

He looked at me a smile even more. The looks on his face is more than enough to fluster my heard. Suddenly Fluffy looks away as if he remembers something. I looked at his muscular chest, but something looks odd.

His chest opens with a lot of blood rushing out of his body and reveals his entrails. I’m shocked, but it seems he is even more than I am.

He fainted. What now? I can escape. But Fluffy will be alone and can die here. How I could repay him with that?

Well I will stay with him. He looks like a nice guy. He is even handsome and the ears of his are cute.

In the end I looked at him and do the most what can fairy for humanoids do. I lean forward and kiss him on his lips it tastes after his blood. My first kiss and it taste like blood.

You are registered as pet of Fluffy

I waited for him to wake up and tell him everything Master wanted to know about this world. Does he know nothing? Well for now it should be enough.

Why master said something like that? Where I want to ride him? Who even ask this?

In the evening he said that he can light a fire, but he only does some odd thing with two sticks.

Master stops and looks at me and started thinking. After that he looks back at the fireplace and says something with magic and the fire is ignited. Magic he can do magic is there something he can’t do?

I fall asleep in his hand as it is really comfortable.

I woke up. His hands are at my wings. There it is. Finally the end. I tried to struggle and started yelling at him.

He closes his hand so I couldn’t escape and close his blue eyes. After I stopped trashing he released me. I looked at him he looks differently his ears and tail are gone and on his back are wonderful butterfly wings. He opened his eyes. They were whole black. He tells me that he healed my wings and it was truth.

I doubted him after he saved my life. I apologised to my master, whom I will cherish for rest of my life.

He asks me for my past, which I tell him. I can see the black in his eyes proceeds to his hair. One after another strand of his hair keep turning black as I keep telling him about my life. His wings turn black too. He has a composed face, but aura around him is changing.

As I finish He stands up and ask me for direction of my captors. I just point at one direction and he vanishes only to reappear in sky as black moth with dark aura.
