I. How To Learn Magic

I.a. Who gets to learn Magic?

During the beginning years of the Kingdom, there have been only a specific group of people who were able to learn the art of Raycanian Magic. This group of people resided in the Crowlia Region, and we call them Crowlians. They were last to leave the Trema Region, staying for a while with Jonathan James Amber to be taught on how to use magic. They were taught all kinds of magic, from Healing to Offence, you name it.

Ever since then, only Crowlians have the privilege of using the ancient arts of Raycania's Magic. Their descendants were taught magic at a young age, making sure that by the time they graduate, they'll have the ability to master which type of magic they wish to learn.

Now, what about the Magirnons, the Raycanians, and the Polarians?

I.b. What about the others?

This all changed during Wither Vermond Amber's reign. Due to the beginning of the Great Magic War, he passed a law which allowed anyone to learn magic, despite not being a Crowlian citizen. Even after the war ended in just a week, the law continues today. As of current, there have been over 20,000 non-Crowlian citizens that have mastered magic.

However, for non-Crowlians, the process of learning magic can be tiresome. Learning the arts of magic requires you to have great stamina, sharp thinking, a great memory for chants, etc. In 1119 alone, out of all 5000 non-Crowlians that tried to learn magic, only 156 passed the exams. Out of those 156, only 112 finished.

Due to the small number of Mages and Wizards available, they are sought out for a lot in Hunting Parties.

I.c. Where to learn Magic?

There are only twenty schools wherein you can learn magic, 18 of which are in Crowlia, and 2 hidden deep within the caves in The Polaris. The Polaris Institution of Magic is one of the elite schools in the entire Kingdom. They were well-known for training Mayor Richard Barnett for Mayor's Magic, and many of those who wish to become the next mayor usually go there in groups of 10. The University of Clairvoyance houses some of the most elite fortune-tellers of the Kingdom, well-known for teaching the likes of the late Miss Marina, who was able to predict the death of Jason Amber.

Here is a list of the top schools in Crowlia.

1. The Amber University

Founded by Jonathan James Amber

2. University of Crowlia

Founded by former Mayor, Troy Rune

3. University of Enchantments

Founded by former Raycanian Mythic, Flare Rune

I.c.a. Levels

There are three levels of education you need to go through to be deemed a "Master of Magic", from 1st Level Education to 3rd Level Education.

1st Level Education

- Lasts for 2 years -

During those 2 years, you will learn the basics of Magic. You'll be learning the history, chants, types, etc. During this period, you'll be only taught the basics of using magic. From the correct tune of the chants to the number of times you should recite a chant.

Out of all the levels, this is the easiest to finish, with there being a 100% passing rate.

2nd Level Education

- Lasts for 2 years -

During those 2 years, you will now begin learning the actual spells themselves. No matter what type of magic you wish to learn, you are forced to learn all types. You will be taught how to heal, how to create a barrier, etc.

You will learn a lot of spells that can only be taught by professional Mages and Wizards. However, the spells that you will be taught are still mid-tier.

This level has a 75% passing rate, with most students failing during the last half of this level.

3rd Level Education

- Lasts for 3 years -

During those 3 years, you will be placed under a lot of pressure. Masters of Magic will be brought to your school to drill the most advanced spells into your head. The strongest of the spells will be taught to you, and failing to learn it properly will result in immediate failure.

Depending on which type of magic you want to learn, you will also engage in 1-on-1 magic combat during the last year. All the remaining days of the last year will be spent on it. You'll never have free time, as you'll be too busy creating plans on how to succeed in the battles.

However, if you wish to become a healer or fortune-teller, you have no need to engage in 1-on-1 magic. Instead, you will be put through different tasks that will last for weeks or even months.

The teachers during this level are very strict, and their standards are way up in the sky. They will give severe punishments to those that fall behind in classes, or those who misbehave.

This level has a 20% passing rate, with most students failing during the last stages of the 1-on-1 combat.

II. The Hierarchy of Magic

In the Magic world, there exists a hierarchy. A hierarchy that dictates which types of special magic are stronger and more efficient. Special Magic is different from Regular Magic, with only a small amount of Mages learning how to use Special Magic, mainly because it can only be learned the second you are born. Only 700 mages have the gift of Special Magic.

1. The Kings' Magic

This magic is the hardest to achieve, mainly because only those of Amber descent can use it. So far, there have been only four people who have been able to achieve The Kings' Magic. Those being The Phoenix God (creator of Raycania's universe), Jonathan James Amber (the first human to learn magic), Mr. Pink, and the last user, Wither Vermond Amber (Temporarily)

2. The Mayors' Magic

As the name states, only the Mayors can learn this magic, to be more specific, only Crowlia's mayor can learn this. Whenever a new Mayor gets picked, the predecessor must become the mentor of the new Mayor, teaching him/her how to use this magic. As of now, there are only two remaining users of this, those being Troy Rune, and Richard Barnett.

If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

3. Ultima Magic

Aside from the two mentioned above, Ultima Magic is the rarest to get. There is only a 0.1% chance of a newborn being able to manifest this Magic. Users of this magic have the ability to switch their types of magic however they please. They can switch from healing to offense, and vice-versa. There are currently 21 users, one of them being Ezith Sora.

4. Crimson Magic

An uncommon type of special magic. Those who are lucky enough to be able to manifest Crimson Magic, have a wide array of magic spells at their disposal, one of which is called "Ultimate Explosion". Crimson Magic mainly focuses on Fire-Type spells.

There are thousands of spells that can only be used by Crimson Magic users, however, the users commonly only use five spells. CM-Users are well-known for being flamboyant, and bombastic.

The entire Crimson Magic clan was almost wiped out during The Great Magic War, but they were fortunate enough to survive.

5. The Fool's Magic

The Fool's Magic is the most common type of Special Magic. Users of this magic can use teleportation without using up mana and could enter through mirrors. They have a wide array of spells at their disposal, with most of them being Light-Type and Shadow-Type. FM-Users can use cards, poles, or even a hat as their wand whenever needed.

6. The Forbidden Magic

Not much is known about this special type of magic. What is only known about this magic is that it can manipulate things from the Realm of The Forgotten. Those with the Forbidden Magic can create portals leading into the Realm of the Forgotten, and control the darkness hiding within.

----------------------------------------

III. Strength System

Spells can be classified in different classes of strength, ranging from D-Class to SS-Class.

----------------------------------------

V. The Laws of Magic

There are no laws.

Just do whatever you want with Magic. Ignore what your 700-page textbook says. It's not like The Phoenix God gives a single damn about what you do with magic. Just do whatever you wish to do. So, if any of you sends me a mail into my Crowlia Messenger box asking about what the laws of magic are, I'll send 100 woodpeckers your way to eat up your home.

----------------------------------------

And there you have it! 7 years of education, summed into one simple book! Anyways, if Professor Troy reads this, please don't get mad at me, please don't. I just want to make other mages as lazy as me. I want EVERYONE to be lazy. Thank you!
