The Great Magic War
Vulnerabilities of the Kingdom
- Written by [DATA CLASSIFIED] -
I was... one of the squads in the frontlines. I remember the vivid screams of my fellow comrades as they were brutally tortured by one of the generals... Wasn't her name Tanda? I'm not sure myself, I can't remember well. She killed 7 of my friends. She beheaded them all and fed their flesh to their lions. What did they do to deserve this?! They died too young, way too young!
As I was saying my farewell to my head as they place it in the guillotine, luck came back on my side. The other squads arrived and rescued the remaining of us. We came there with 10 people, but when we came back, there was... only 3 of us. They were only able to injure Tanda by her leg. She has a gaping scar on her thigh now, a large cut from the rapiers used by the crusaders.
A few days later, the war ended. I came home, all alone. All of my squadmates died. Every single one of them. Thankfully, the Kingdom revered all of the people that were killed, specifically, all 17 of them. For others, 17 seemed like a small number. But for us, 17 was a lot. 17 families lost one of their beloved. 17 dreams, crushed by war. 17 futures, all destroyed.
I've been assigned by the King himself, to find out what went wrong during the war. "What were the vulnerabilities? How and where did you guys get captured?" he asked. I gladly accepted his request. I'm writing this for my friends, comrades, and everyone. This is for the Kingdom to never suffer the same fate as those 17.

VULNERABILITY #001
CLOSE COMBAT
From what I've been told by the King as I was having a tea party with him, our enemies were from another dimension. To be more specific, a dimension that is similar to ours, except without any magic or supernatural items. They use guns that fire out... plasma? According to Sir Jonathan Amber's diary, he said that Plasma was the specialty of what they call their "continent". I'm not too sure what that meant.
Now, back to our topic. Close combat is something dangerous to do, especially with the weapons of the enemies. With their guns, we can't fight them with swords, spears, or whatever weapon that requires a close distance. If I recall, this was the cause of the death of 2 soldiers. They got too cocky and attacked with spears, but ended up melting from the hot plasma shot by their battalions.
Aside from plasma, they used something called "bullets"? I'm not too sure, but from what Wither has told me, they are conical in shape and are made of alloy, whatever that is. But, from what I saw with my eyeballs, 2 soldiers died because of this. They were shot in the head, landing into their cranium. Their brain was also somehow hit, which is what resulted in their death.
So, if the Royal Council reads this, I suggest we don't engage in close combat. After all, they'll most likely attack in Crowlia again, and I hope you remember we have MAGIC for a reason. Why don't we just send in a barrage of explosions, thunder, winds, or even fire? The move made by General Mike was pretty stupid if I do say so myself. Who in their right mind would ever send scouts with rapiers, to attack the enemies who are equipped with guns!?
Thankfully, he got demoted.

VULNERABILITY #002
SENDING TOO LITTLE
Now, let me complain more about General Mike. Why in Jonathan's name did he only send TWO SCOUTS?! I repeat, he only sent TWO SCOUTS, out of the fifty scouts ready anytime. Wanna know what's worse? He sent them to the most dangerous place ever, the literal fucking base of the enemy! We don't know what happened to the two of them, but what we only know is their last message.
> GM, this is Commander Oscurita of Scout Squadron #34. We are currently north of their base, enemies have spotted me. They're trying to capture me. Timothy, unfortunately, went AWOL days before. He told me where he was going next. He said he'll be hiding in The Siren's Wake, and that he's already built a fishing hut there.

I've already told the Royal Council that next time, send in more than fucking twenty troops instead of General Mike's specialty two. General Mike's a dumbass, really, he is. How the hell is he even General in the first place? Jeez, I'm going off-topic. Sorry.

VULNERABILITY #003
Jason Amber the II / "Z"
The leader of the enemy forces, the King of Ryaconia, Jason Amber the II, or as we commonly call him nowadays, Z. He is... extremely strong. I've seen him injure 1,000 people in just a matter of seconds. SECONDS. Compare him and his troops, his troops are like small ants that barely do any damage at all. His power to be able to control "Electro-Plasma" through his veins is what makes him the most dangerous threat to the Kingdom.
He killed the three Raycanian Mythics, with his bare fists, right in front of Wither. I saw it as I was standing right beside him. I watched him turn their skins into goo, their bones into mush, their organs into ashes. We couldn't do anything, we just stood there as they shouted at us to stay back. God, that was a terrifying experience.
Fortunately, he avenged them. He almost killed Z when all of a sudden, he teleported back into Ryaconia.
I've already told him that if there was a small chance that Z will ever return, he has to think straight, focus on his attacks, or else he'll end up like his pals. Rest in peace, Myth—
