At first it was sceptical. Very suspicious, as if the hero Ichinagi had persuade Lanushi to do her bidding, but seeing his strength first hand, about 89% of the Demon Generals have agreed. The numbers says so themselves
As the Demon Civilization was in need of help, about 50,000 soldiers and 30,000 "volunteers" (The civilians) will help them
As for the soldiers, they conducted search and destroy missions such as, "hunters" and "adventurers" trying their luck on entering the Demon Territory for richer recourse, and some demon subjugation groups
While some did defensive jobs such as being Guards
As for the "volunteers" Consisting mainly all of the saved "slaves" will help them with their infrastructure and their economy. Some "agricultural" Skilled volunteers had proposed idea of turning some "barren lands" into lush, alive, and green lands. Of course, it was immediately agreed upon because it was a good idea
And that landscape change was VERY QUICK. The soldiers complained the emptiness of this continent so some volunteered to help
From a barren, almost ashed covered lands, to sprouted some green grass and some beautifully growing trees. The ones who did this are now celebrating by drinking alcohol and having fun with some demonic "succubuses"
Somehow they are enjoying this and even Ichinagi is enjoying this
After a month, the land is now fertile and habitable
As for the infrastructure. The residential parts such as demon villages are in the process of "modernizing". But somehow they refused to help goblin settlements. Reason was they always get attacked to the point they have to kill them. Well they didn't get in trouble because it was an optional choice
Yeah, there was a massacre spree on Goblin Settlements and Goblin infested caves. Not that the demons care. They hated them also
But moving on, half of the demons are seeing the brighter light of Ichinagi's soldiers. Helping them, training with them, they are even being freindlier with the soldiers who are from the Russian and US Branch to the point they like to practice with each other
This is what Ichinagi and maybe Lanushi's plan taking effect
Both Ichinagi and Lanushi is establishing a friendlier relationship between their two civilizations. They even like to trade with them such as building materials and they are all high quality as well
But the only downside is that they don't like trading or selling their weapons. Lanushi learned that there is a law in his world that prohibits them from trading or selling advance military equipment but that doesn't change the fact that they can purchase "modern" made Swords and "modern" made bows such as the compound bow

And Demon Archers LOVED THEM
Though they are heavy than regular bows and longbows, but the kicking power is soo powerful and the range exceeds very high than a normal longbow. And with magic, the guys who made these are so shocked that this "Modern Bow" is compatible with their magic. Same goes for the modern made swords
Now the kicking power, lethality, and range is on the same level as a rifle. But the ammunition is gonna be their only problem so soldiers doesn't have to worry when they have 30 rounds in a magazine
The Demons, somehow quickly adapted to their new "modern" lifestyle. No wonder they survived for soo long. They adapt to literally fucking ANYTHING
But they still used swords and bows. Just a bit modernized ones per say
They even held "Compound Bow" Tournaments and Competitions. To the point that Ichinagi's soldiers wanted to challenge them. Only a few can challenge some pro demons

Lanushi has been wondering, but she couldn't get this out of her mind. What is he planning? Around. Him just spells suspicion

[Well, there is a book about that. But we don't have that here but outside of the Demon Continent.]

In fact, this Demon Lord manage to defeat "two" waves of summoned heroes until being defeated by a Japanese man by the name of Yamachi Naomi. Wait? Ichinagi somehow knows this guy's name before. He was a Manga author when he remembered
So that means his old Isekai Manga books that got an Anime Adaptation was his experience? Wait no, those are completely different after he went missing and never came back. But anyways, he defeated the Demon Lord 200 years ago. But somehow he was curious if he actually went back to Japan. If not then that sucks. He would've seen his Isekai stories brought back to life and clearly he was a big fan
But moving on, more and more history about the first Demon Lord is now engraved in Ichinagi's mind
But the only problem is, is this legit? There is another book and it focused on both the first Demon Lord and the First Hero. The the only way to obtain it is by going into some random library in the Empire of Phoenix and search books

Who knows if he would suddenly ran into his "old classmates" Well he has some friends, best friends to be exact. Maybe he can convince them to join his side? The chances is somehow slim but trying is everything
Ichinagi is inside of a Carriage that was built by his soldiers. It has suspension so the ride will be smooth, and some "bullet proof" Cover

The ranking system here is like a game
Rank F, the lowest of the Ranks and Rank SSS, the highest of wich rank
Rank SSS seems to only affect heroes. But for non-heroes it's likely Rank SS and what he read, there are currently five Rank SS. They are called the five holy swords. He then noticed all of them is a female. No males. History says no males before. Only females

Also, Ichinagi loves to scare people, so he appointed five, one each carriage, to be an S Rank adventurer

[Alright, guys, it's been five years since I commanded soldiers now so I might be a little rusted up over the years. But anyways moving on...]

If they get attacked by bandits however, they should be fine because they have guns after all. No sparing them
They also carried a very large amount of money, and Ichinagi is the only one being richer than any of them
