Adam's POV
"Huff...Puff...Gasp..."
A bear's claw whistled past my face as I leaned backward and kicked it in the chest to create some distance. I gave the huge bear a glare before dashing backward and weaving between the trees slowly getting rid of the aggro.
'Ugh... Dammit, I forgot about stamina...'
I leaned against a tree and continued panting while looking around at the tall trees with slightly yellowing leaves. I looked at the bear 100 m away, it looked like any other bear in the zoo, it was 2 m long and almost half a meter wide with sharp teeth and claws. Even its attack pattern was too simple consisting of charging, biting, and trying to claw you.
'But that doesn't matter if you couldn't break its defense for heavy hits or little it down due to low stamina.'
Almost every action in Multiverse consumes stamina and even though my class gives me a boosted stamina regeneration, I can't keep fighting with a level 7 monster whose speed and strength are greater than mine.
'Eye of Apollo'
I marked the bear, this time deciding to use my main weapon to try and do some damage. The starter bow looked like an ordinary wooden bow with cloth wrapped in the middle to provide a better grip.
'Hmm, this should be enough.'
Since I was outside the bear's aggro range to it I was almost invisible, this should give me the sneak attack bonus too...
[Swamp Bear Lv-7 (mob)]
[HP= 350/350]
[DEF= 30]
[Strengths: High attack damage, High endurance]
[Skills: Charge, Cleave, Bite, Breserk]
[Hidden drop: Kill at Level one to gain a random rare drop]
Because I marked it with Eye of Apollo all its information appeared before me instead of just the basic information.
'Damn that's a high DEF, I should have marked it before, there is no way I'm getting past that DEF with my dagger.'
In Multiverse, any attack below a monster's DEF would be shrugged off by it. Unless your attack power could break through that barrier it was pointless to attack it.
I aimed at the bear's eye, took a deep breath, and held it in, I pushed more mana into my eyes as the movement of the bear slowed down. I gripped the bow with my left hand and then pulled the string back, an arrow made of mana materialized on the bow.
"Twang..."
The string rippled as the mana arrow rippled forwards and struck the bear in its right eye, I started moving towards the bear while releasing the breath that I was holding and glanced at my remaining stamina.
[Stamina: 18/20]
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
[Mana: 45/60]
After taking another deep breath I once again drew the string back and aimed at the other eye.
"Twang..."
The bear lost its balance after being unable to see and with two arrows sticking out of its face, I calculated its trajectory before storing the bow away and dash towards it once again as it thrashed on the ground.
Before I even reached it the bear's movement started slowing down so I quickly slashed towards its eyes narrowly avoiding its hasty swipe. More blood blurted out as I leaped away to avoid its strike.
'Damn what else would be its weak point aside from the eyes? There is no way there is a weak point on its body... huh?'
[Swamp Bear Lv-7 Killed]
[Underleveled bonus applied(X1.6)]
[Gained 112 EXP]
[Gained 112 CP]
[Level Up!!]
'Wait I killed that how?'
I scrolled through the battle log that I had disabled because it was annoying me when fighting the bear before as the only thing it was telling me was [Attack DMG too low... Resisted], but this time the attack log had useful information.
[Marked Target hit *3 DMG...Sneak Attack *2 DMG... Critical Hit *3 DMG...DMG calculated= (8*3*2*3)=144]
[Swamp Bear's right eye destroyed... Accuracy -50%, -5HP/Sec for 5 sec...DEF reduced by 5]
[Marked Target hit *3 DMG... Critical Hit *3 DMG...DMG calculated= (8*3*3)=72]
[Swamp Bear's left eye destroyed... Accuracy -50%, -5HP/Sec for 5 sec...DEF reduced by 5]
[-24 HP]
'So that's how it was...'
I stood in the clearing for a moment as I analyzed the information given out by the battle log, then I changed the setting to once again activate the Battle notifications and reached out to touch the bear to gain loot. The huge bear broke down into pixels leaving behind a pair of shoes, the heart of the swamp bear, and 2 silver coins.
[Tyr's Leather shoes Lv 1-10][Rare]
[A pair of boots smuggled from the continent of Asgard.]
[Requirement: Warrior, Archer]
[Faction Bonus: SPD +5%](Norse)
[SPD +10][ATK +5][DUR =1000/1000]
'Shit, it's even a rare item... I could still use them and then trade them away I guess, anyway, I need more stamina, I got quite a lot of SPD now due to my class and I won't have to use any points in DEX so...'
I placed all the 5 points in END, and my stamina jumped by 50 points and Health by 500.

I marveled at my stat screen, as I would continue to level up the difference created because of my epic class would continue to increase. A common class doesn't give any bonus stats per level, an uncommon class gives 1-2 bonus stats per level, a rare class gives 4-6 bonus stats per level, an epic class gives 15-20 bonus stats per level, and a legendary class gives 40-50 bonus stats per level.
'Nobody ever revealed if they got an ancient or mythic class but the bonuses there would be insane, I guess I'll find out when I would try to evolve into E-grade because there is a chance to evolve your class if you fulfill certain hidden conditions... but I guess they won't be hidden much longer.'
I smiled at the idea of evolving to a legendary and beyond classes as I moved deeper into the forest when a notification popped up.

'Right the delivery should be here... maybe I should also finish that trade auction...'
