Meet the Queen of Happiness

Meet the Queen of Happiness

Avyre loved morning's. Waking up fresh every day, the wait for a day over; absolutely wonderful. Avyre couldn't just begin to wonder what today's new day would bring, what joy's it would bring her; she was too excited.

Avyre got out of bed and made it just like her grandmother had taught her. 'Oh Grandma, how do I miss you...' Avyre couldn’t help but remember how her grandmother had passed away last year, she especially couldn't forget her last words: "My granddaughter, never change. You bring joy to this world, I know it."

On that day, Avyre lived as joyfully as humanely possible. Every one of her friends knew her for how happy she was, and how happy she made those around her. That may also have been the reason that Avyre was the most popular kid in her high school. Her body was by no means the best, and neither was her face godly enough to seduce any man, it was all in her personality.

Just so you know, Avyre never kept any secrets from her friends. She once told them how she was born in Iran, how she was taught Persian there, and how people didn't agree with the way she lived her life, forcing her parents to seek a better life in Canada. She told her friends all about her journey here, especially how nice the airport security was. Her friends believed most of her stories...

But some stories her friends always found absurd. Especially the one story of her hiking in the woods and getting attacked by a stray wolf. They never believed how she managed to tame the hungry wolf with hypnosis and put it to sleep. They always laughed, but Avyre never took offense, she enjoyed laughing with her friends.

Avyre realized that she was stuck in her mind after she was called down by Mother to eat breakfast. Avyre finished making her bed and ran down to the kitchen to greet her mother and her father with a kiss. After the family exchanged greetings, they sat down to eat. This passed rather quickly, as both the mother and the father had to hurry off to work, and Avyre to school.

After breakfast was done, Avyre joyfully prepared her lunch, putting in the usual; one milkshake, a turkey sandwich, and several fruits. Once the lunch bag was done and dusted with, Avyre ran up to her room on the second floor of her house. She had to get ready for school, so Avyre brushed her hair, and applied a little bit of makeup. She then changed out of her pajamas, and took a quick look at her body, to check if nothing was wrong.

She still had her A cup breasts, which haven't grown since she turned twelve. It was a little disappointing since Avyre was sixteen now, but she couldn't let herself be brought down by such small things. She still had her dark caramel colored skin and deep green eyes, which had been there since her birth. She still had her shoulder length raven black hair, which grew swiftly and would need cut soon.

After seeing everything was as it always was, Avyre looked at what she would wear for today. For today, she would probably wear overall's and a stripped blue and white navy sailor shirt. That would do just dandy! Avyre quickly got dressed and prepared her backpack by gathering all her finished homework off her work table. An ace student like her had to be prepared, after all.

After she had prepared completely for the day, she went to feed her pets. First, she got her little gecko some worms to eat. She watched it happily catch the small worms with its tiny tongue; it gave her peace knowing her animals were happy. After Avyre finished with her gecko, she went to her hamster, feeding it very small bits of a carrot. After finishing with her hamster, Avyre made sure to leave both her pets some more food for the day, and then she left for school.

--One peacefully joyous bus ride later--

Avyre got off the bus and thanked the driver with a happy smile. She walked several meters before one of her friends, Sammy, came up greeting her behind her. He was a Canadian born boy, who she met in her previous junior high school. Back then, Avyre tried to talk to him, but found him to very shy. She warmed him up over the course of two years, and now he was lively as ever when talking to her.

"Avyre! How was your morning?"

"It was wonderful Sammy! How was yours?"

"It was fine, I'm still waking up being overheated by my blanket, but everything is fine."

"That's good!"

Avyre enjoyed talking to Sammy, it was always great hearing how her friends were doing.

"By the way, how do you think you did on yesterday's test?"

"I think I did pretty well!"

This is how most of the conversations went with Avyre's friends. This also represented how her day would usually go. She would talk to her friends as equals, treat them as equals, and most of all, bring joy to everyone around her. Most of the days went by like this, but a few occasional days were a bit different.

Today was one of those days. Avyre was going through today's news on her phone, when she reloaded it, as to see if anything new came up. It was then that she saw it; Ms. Juniper's botany store had burned down! This meant that her mother's supply of flowers would be greatly reduced! Avyre was said, but she would not let herself be brought down by this, she had to keep pursuing the happiness!

So, the day went on, Avyre going through it as happily as humanely possible. When school had finally ended, Avyre noticed how nice it was outside; 'I think I can walk home today.' On her peaceful walk home, Avyre saw something strange. She saw a small squirrel, nothing out of the regular except one thing: This squirrel was eating something white. Avyre stared at it for a moment, before she kept heading on forward, paying no mind as to why the squirrel was eating snow.

At home, Avyre had mostly nothing to do. She would check and feed her two pets, go and eat her supper, and finally go back to her room and do her school work. Once all was done, it was time for Avyre to rest, which she celebrated by going to sleep.

Unknown to Avyre, the world was changing. Irreversible things were set in motion that would change her life forever...

Not for the better.
