Wrong scheme

me, why does everyone oppose me? What have I done? Why do they destroy all the memories I have of mom?

Why do they do this?

My beautiful jewelry box, crushed by the queen...

Sniff...

But delicate membranous wings surrounded the teenage princess. Like a father and mother figure at the same time.

"Mir... "Why are you so nice to me?

I licked her tears and she leaned her forehead against my chest to hear my heart.

"You are a brave little dragon, mir...thank you. you are my only family to me..."

Then she hid me under the covers, afraid I would be seen in her room.

We entered without knocking and the maid brought soup... cold.

"But, could I have a spoon?"

"Dogs don't need spoons! And why do I have to come to this kennel? People like you shouldn't even have basic rights."

She left, slamming the door, and the princess began to cry.

"Mir, I'm sorry you have to go through this show...you deserve better than me. You deserve a better place to live. But this is how I am treated.

In the other room, we had a place to sunbathe and I know you love to bask in the sun. All dragons and lizards love the sun...

Here, have my soup, I have no appetite."

And she handed me her plate and started to taste the soup. Even though it was a simple meal, in the wild, a silly soup was a rare and exquisite dish that required preparation and tools, just to mix and cut the vegetables properly without crushing them.

Seeing me drinking the soup almost like a human, she smiled at me: "Mir... I'm glad you like the soup. What would happen to me if you turned away from me too? Why does everyone hate me? What have I done to them? What did I do or say?

All these rumors started so fast. And, by the time I realized something, my dad had already hit me. What did I do wrong? What mistake did I make? Why did I do it? I don't understand and even now I still don't understand!"

Mir stroked my hair. His non-verbal communication was all I needed.

I saw him as more than a friend, more than a brother and even more than a parent.

I wanted to give myself to him, even if it meant throwing away my humanity. I wanted to have wings and leave with this little dragon, to live another life... but... we don't decide our destiny... we suffer it.

"Mir... I love you!"

The wyvern paused for a moment then continued while purring like a cat.

Continuing to cry Chlorophyll continued, "I was overwhelmed, everything happened like a tsunami... and the looks of the nobles, the students, the teachers and now... the maids. They all want to spit on me, to crush me like a bug.

When I got the worms on me, the maggots and finally the slap from the emperor. From THE EMPEROR himself! What a disgrace, what a shame...My vision became blurry and my hands were shaking. My fingers were like pieces of broken and gnarled wooden branches. I was ashamed, I wanted to kill myself, to die, to disappear!"

But the Wyvern listened, unperturbed, her head lying on her knees almost asleep, enjoying a good moment alone together.

"I'm sorry Mir is inflicting my suffering on you. I'm sorry to throw all my problems at you but... I'm so alone... I know you're trying to comfort me.. but.. I'm so afraid we'll be separated.. I'm so alone!

Eyes open and staring into space I understood the situation immediately.

Memories of my previous life rushed to me and the fact that she suffers so much loneliness, it hit me like cymbals.

I saw again the scene of my disintegration ... or teleportation but I believe more in the first option. For I was born from the womb of mommy wyvern. My consciousness slowly turned on and it was not like waking up in another body or a transformed body.

My soul had transmigrated but my body, well, its ashes had arrived here or not? I would never know... but it didn't matter. Now I was Mir and I wanted to live my life here to the fullest.

The princess, had now given me additional goals to my life and this was confirmed with my "system" that started to evolve.

"Ding: Objective: Find out why the princess is systematically harassed"

"Ding: Objectid: Protect the immediate environment of the princess"

Reward: Access to the third spell circle.

"System, can you explain the first and second circle?"

"First level spells are available to first circle and second circle magicians, that is, a level one magician can cast level one spells and a level two magician can only cast level one spells, but he can cast more than a level one magician and he can learn 1-2 more spells not counting those he learns from scrolls or buys from a guild through a magic spell book that will go into him.

Wizards of level 3 or 3rd circle can cast level 1 and level 2 spells. Only at level five or fifth circle can he cast level 3 spells.

It often takes a long life full of experience to reach the title of wizard or archmage."

Anyway, it wasn't a given but being a dragon, maybe everything was proportionally amplified?.

I wanted to cry just thinking about the difference in level between me and the Enchantress.

But to attack her on her own domain, magic, was suicide. I had to use science then... But here...

There was nothing...it was like an insurmountable mountain.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

And, like the princess, I too began to cry.

We were two children surrounded by evil adults trying to crush us.

I was as attached to the princess as she was to me.

She was like an angel to me and I vowed to help her.

Now that I had clear objectives thanks to the system, I was going to start exploring and spying in this cabin, in the academy but also in the main castle.

Something told me that an immense danger was about to strike, like a sixth sense. A sense of dragons.

I opened the door as best I could while the princess was in life skills class. Another torture session...in name only...

The first thing that struck me was the size of the rooms and it was gigantic.

There were maids everywhere. In the entrance hall, on the stairs, on the balustrade, a kind of mezzanine overlooking the hall after a marble stone staircase ... and ... I saw the princess going towards the stairs. There was a huge carpet on it and each step held the carpet by bars covered with gold leaves to show that we were in the Imperial zone.

But I also saw 2 maids, one of them was a nasty one right behind Chlorophylle.

They were laughing and giggling, certainly about their next bad move.

She waved her thumb at the other one who was almost eating her fingers so she wouldn't hear her laugh and she bent down to grab one end of the carpet. Normal, they cleaned them every day and beating a rug was perfectly normal.

The second princess Chlorophylle had no idea.

However, I was flying, invisible above the scene and I now understood the horrible maneuver. While the princess was descending the stone stairs, in fact, very dangerous, the maid was going to pull a sharp blow on the carpet and make her fall or crash down.

It was dangerous, cruel and criminal.

I couldn't let that happen! I would never let that happen! But it all happened too fast.

She fired a sharp blow before I could even react and the princess slipped. Luckily, or fortunately, she caught herself on the railing and her fall stopped after two steps. She wasn't hurt, which reassured me."

"Sorry, ma'am (she was imitating a dog, which made the other staff members laugh), I was cleaning the carpet and you happened to be unfortunate enough to be on it."

Princess: "I... I'm sorry..."

"It's because you never pay attention around you that accidents happen."

Me: But what is this madness?? why did they do that? It was like a bad joke in their eyes. They laugh as if it was normal. What would they do if the princess was hurt?

The maid then shouted to the others: "Everything must be shiny and waxed! I don't want any dirt to be visible.

One of the maids congratulated the wicked Diana. "That was a great joke."

Diane: "I didn't do anything, it's only because of that bitch's clumsiness that we can kill time... killing her... hahaha!"

Everyone laughed in chorus.

"But what are these sick people?" I thought.

Quickly, I asked the system to identify them. Maybe an information? A clue?

This ability to identify saved my life several times during my hunts. It allowed me to evaluate the strength of my prey and opponent and thus avoid a dangerous or lost fight.

The information was normal but it mentioned that they were disloyal and influenced by the queen and the bishop.

But one detail struck me: Loyalty: Rebels.

I smiled inwardly and said to myself that they should taste their own medicine.

They listened to the bishop and the queen's orders but were disloyal to the empire but loyal to the republicans, so probably the Enchantress' faction.

So it was a knotty mess with Chlorophyll as the first victim.

I didn't care about the rest.

I wanted to know for sure.

So I flew over all the household staff and saw: traitors to the empire, ingrates, thieves and loyal to the Republic.

No wonder they treated poor Chlorophyll like this. She was in an enemy faction!

Then one of the maids took out Chlorophylle's panties and intimate linen.

I was shocked and surprised to see the colors but the maid yelled: "Look what I have here!

"The bitch will smell like a bitch! The smell of urine!"

"hahaha"

Who do they think they are, those bastards. There wasn't a good one to catch up with.

And she walked over to a chamber pot of one of the maids and proceeded to drop her intimate linen into the bucket containing feces and urine.

"What a scent worthy of a second princess! HAHA!"

This was madness. Nothing as a word could come out so much I was shocked!

I then cast a slip spell on the maid and her companions and she stumbled, head first into the chamber bucket and as she backed up she pushed the other maid, Diana who in turn slipped and hit the back of her head a coat rack/shelf holding dishes on top.

The pile of plates slid and smashed into her head and knocked her down, her head crushed between the marble and the soiled carpet and plate debris.

All the maids were soiled in one way or another, and they cursed the princess in absentia.

I was satisfied with my work.

Diane screamed "It stings... it stinks... Aaargh!!! It's horrible!"

"Well done... now you get a taste of your own medicine. It's a taste of what you're about to go through, just like you put the princess through." I said to myself as I flew over the show and still invisible.

The spell had broken but in a microsecond it was back on and no one saw it.

The system gave me an extra level to my great surprise. Then all of a sudden, the butler mistress came in, attracted by the commotion and started yelling at the staff.

"If everything is not cleaned up in 10 minutes, you will all be fired... No nobleman or royal blood can come to a mess like this. And... and... Air it out... The smell is stenchy. Diana!! Go wash up immediately and do something about the smell... Otherwise, go home... Ugh... What a sewer smell."

"The first princess will arrive in a few minutes and everything must be spotless. She could be accompanied by new Heroes! Go!!! Execute!"

Everyone started running, as if their uniforms were on fire!
