Chapter 1

The silence was ringing in his ear, it is as if his ear has a string that sends data to his mind. when there is no data to receive it stays still it sends a single frequency sound. He calls it the ringing sound. It was just one more thing to add upon his current predicament.

Calming himself and breathing slowly and continuously, he looked to the center of the room, maybe he can find an exit there. Unlikely but better than nothing. Walking slowly and to feel the ground he took off his sandals and set them aside.

He reached the middle of the room and finds something interesting. It was as if one of the tiles extended upwards to form an elongated rectangular box. It reached the height of his hip. “Dammit” he voiced out.

He extended a hand trying to reach the end of the room. Then tried to find his sandals, after all his feet were getting cold.

First appeared a small blob of light, then another. And then spread to form something akin to an eye in shape of a twisted V with an orange tint all the way to the back of its head. From each creature one glowing white hand appeared, the glow fading to black around their skinny wrists, it was as if their hands were on white fire.

“Ke Ke Kee...”
