“Damn it, what can I do.” says Rin

“Put all your power in your hand and concentrate the energy, then shoot it.”

BOOM!! Smokes cover up the field. As the smoke clears, it reveals that nothing happened to Rin.

“What happened?” Genki asked

“Rin cancelled Luca’s fireball with his own.” says Ms. Naomi

Luca jumps back. “How did you not die?” He puts his left hand on the ground.

“Run left”

“What?”

"Quickly to the left now!"

Spikes suddenly came out of the ground where Rin was.

“Damn it.” Luca says

"Run towards him, while putting your left hand before your back and create a fireball.”

(Who are you? Rin asks in his mind)

“Just do as I say.”

“Duck.” As a fireball was fired at him. Rin runs towards Luca, while dodging the fireballs. Luca looks angry and frustrated. Luca charges a fireball in his left hand.

“Right now!” Rin gets under him and shoots a fireball from his left hand against his stomach.

Luca passes out.

“Mr. Luca are you ok, Sir?” brown hair runs up and asks

“LETS GO LIN!!”

Genki runs up and hugs Rin, while jumping up and down.

"Okay, quiet down, the winner is Rin, congratulations." Says Ms. Naomi

“You three will be enrolling into the academy, but we have to be at the academy tomorrow morning, so pack your stuff and go to the entrance of the village in one hour, we’ll leave once everyone is there.”

Rin and Genki walk back to their house. (Rin wonders who that voice was)

Genki says, "See you in a bit." and runs away

Rin opens the door, and sees his dad sitting at the table with Rin's stuff.

"Dad! I'm a magician!" Says Rin

"Yea.. I saw that you became a magician."

"Here's all your stuff, you'll grow to be an amazing person, be safe son.."

"But Dad I-" interrupted by his dad

"It's okay, don't worry, I'm fine here."

"Dad... thank you."

Rin runs and hugs him.

"I promise I'll come back with a lot of money and make this entire village better!" Says Rin while crying.

"Bye, Dad." Says Rin.

"Bye." As Rin closes the door, leaving him alone in the room.

“Sighs” he stands up, grabs a flower on the table, and walks out the house.

“Bye Mr. Neji” says Genki as he runs towards the entrance of the village. “Bye Genki.” He waves at Genki, and walks towards a grass field. He gets to the center of the grass field and sits down in front of a grave under a tree.

He sat there silently as the wind blew on the leaves.

"Hey Emma..”

“Your son became a magician just like you."

"I wish you were here, he's all grown up now..."

He puts the flower in front of the grave as the wind gently swishes through the tree.

“Remember when we first met, you always liked these flower.” he giggled....it became silent again

Tears suddenly dropped from his face, wetting the dirt.

The sun sets, as the clouds get warmer and warmer, giving a warm orange tinge to the sky.

“Hey Rin, let’s get in the car now.” Says Genki.

They get inside the car and start to drive off.

Rin asks Genki “What’s the 5 level dungeon?”

“You don’t know about it already?”

“No.” Says Rin.

“So there are 5 levels within the dungeon, we are at level 1, where normal people are. Every level has a limiter that controls who can enter based on their power level, as you go up a level the stronger and smarter the monsters there are.” Genki says to Rin.

“Why do you ask?”

“I think I saw something about it in a book.” Says Rin.

Rin gets tired and begins to sleep.

He wakes up in a white room and in front of him is a black cat with a red X on its forehead, the cat stares at Rin.

“Who are you, where am I?” Rin asks.

“I’m the voice that guided you in the battle, remember?”

“Just do as I say.” Rin remembers.

“But how were you in my head, and where is this?”

“Well, this is in your brain/mind, and it’s a place for you to train, I’m going to be teaching you magic and help you to get stronger.'' The cat walks around Rin while speaking. "What you learn in this place, you will be able to do when you wake up, anything you do here won't affect your physical body, but your body in the real world can be affected by an outside force, also time moves twice as slow in here than the real world."

"But why would you help me get stronger, you know about the orb thing, don't you?" Rin asks.

“the only thing I can say is I will help you get the orb."

"Do you know about the guy that-" (interrupted) "Enough questions, I will tell you more about this later, for now you have to learn about the basics of magic."

"Magic can be in different forms and elements. There is fire, water, lighting, earth, wind, poison, shadow, and light magic spells. Another form of magic is space magic, which can change an area and the things in that area can be manipulated and changed, as well as people. And there is curse magic, but we won't get to that yet."

"We will start by learning the different element spells, since we don't have a lot of time. I will teach you this low-level fire spell, if used properly, you can go against people that are stronger than you."

"The way magic works is the user has to use their Flo and their element. So close your eyes, feel the energy in your body, and you will see a flame, look at the color of the flame."

Rin squeezes his eyes, trying to see what color the flame is. “I see...dark red”

“Interesting..”

“What?”

"Nothing, your main element is fire."

"Ok, try to control your flo from your body to your fingertips."

WHOOSH, a fireball is created on Rin’s fingertip. “I did it.”

"NO." the cat flicks his paws and the fireball blew away.

"That fireball was too weak, try again." Rin tries again.

WHOOSH, the new flame of the fireball changed, it's more red and dark.

"Good, now practice how much flo you release and how you release it. Normal fireballs are weak because the amount of flo is spread into a large area, which causes it to do less damage in one area.”

“Now watch.” The cat lifts its paw and a short and small red beam shoots out really fast.

“You can control your Flo and make it whatever shape you want. In this case, I am compressing a huge amount of Flo in a small area to make it powerful and destructive. But only use this when you are in dangerous situations. Aim at the enemy's head, and it will go right through.”

“Here.” The cat spawns a giant rock, about 5 meters in height and 7 meters in length.

“Phuuush.'' The cat’s beam went through the rock with little to no effort.

“Try to do what I did, tell me when you are done.” proceed to spawn a small, but comfortable bed, and lays down, crosses his leg and puts his two paws before his head. Rin smiles awkwardly.

Rin starts creating a fireball that is smaller, but compressed, and shoots at the rock. It didn’t make a dent on the rock's surface. Rin kept trying for an hour, and finally he made a slight dent, about 0.5 centimeters on the surface. Rin drops to the ground, “I give up.” says while breathing heavily.

“Oh, I forgot to mention, every time you use magic, it uses your flo, when you run out of flo, you become powerless until you get more flo.”

“Well, I guess we can stop here.” saying it while jumping down from the bed.

“Remember, I don’t have much power as of now, so be careful and don’t get yourself in trouble. It’s about time to wake up.”

“Wait, what is your name?”
