“Alright, think Kenobi, how are you going to fix things this time,” Obi Wan asks himself, sitting in his cabin on the ship, in his meditative position. He slowly lets his eyes close, and takes a long deep breath in, and reaches out, calling into the force, searching for answers to his problems.
He jerks slightly, a cackle resonating through his head, the smell of static, and the sight of a hooded figure cloaked in shadow coming to his mind's eye. Unease rolls through him as he senses that monster, so far from him, but always there, the thing that had destroyed everything. He will have to find some way to stop him, and soon.
He has to be in the here and now though, how can he help Satine? He reaches deeper into the force, past the glaring darkness of the sith, who are the ones causing her people pain? Who does he need to stop?
A smell of dirt and sweat came to him, the sound of a metal clanging and gears turning, and he could feel a tug in his gut, trying to pull him to his feet. He stays sitting though, reaching further, and he lets out a gasp, his vision opening to see an old friend.
“Cody?” He whispers, brows furrowed as he looks at him, wearing rags, glaring at… pirates? Weequay? No, no human pirates, and they seem just as displeased with Cody as he is with them.
“That's not Cody,” He whispers, shaking his head with sadness, knowing that it’s not possible, no… this isn’t an old friend, this is an old enemy. The man standing there, strong even while seemingly enslaved is Jango Fett, one of the most skilled Mandalorians he’d ever come across.
“What do I need him for?” He thinks, trying to reach out to the force for more answers. The only response he’s given is light, pure blissfully dancing light, Satine. He gets that gut feeling to stand again, and this time, he follows it.
He opens his eyes, letting out another deep breath, as he straightens his back again. He stands, and reaches out into the ship with the force, finding Satine in the cockpit, sitting in her chair, looking out into the small market that they're staying at.
He walks out and into the hallway, heading towards his shining light. It only takes a second with his long strides and billowing cloak to get there, the door sliding out of his way as he walks in. She turns to him with a smile before looking back out the window, he takes a seat in the pilot's chair, crossing his leg over the other as he looks at her.
“Do you know who Jango Fett is?” He asks quietly, hating that he has to take her from her peace. She turns back to him, a look of bewilderment on her face, confusing him even more.
“How do you know that name?” She asks in return, a hint of disbelief in her voice. Obi Wan’s brow raises slightly, intrigued by her shock, and he turns to her, letting his leg fall and leaning forward, closer to her.
“The force is guiding me to him, for whatever reason, I need to find him, I just don’t know why” He says his hand on his chin now, almost stroking a nonexistent beard as he will in the future. She leans forward to match him, a slight smile on her face as she shakes her head.
“Jango Fett has been dead, him and his father, for over a year now. They died and left Mandalore in the state it’s in now,” She says, a hint of resentment lacing her tone. He reaches over, taking her hand, and smiles a little, realizing that holding her hand will become a habit if he’s not careful.
“What do you mean? Who is he?” He asks softly, sending her feelings of ease through the force, trying to take some of the new found stress he’s created. Satine just shakes her head though, giving another frustrated sigh.
“He was supposed to be the Mand’alore, he was the third in line for succession, after his older brother and their father,” She says sadly, her eyes downcast, thinking of how many things she has to take care of, without the help of those who should be in charge.
Obi Wan hums in acknowledgment, and closes his eyes, reaching out again for the force. He recalls his vision, trying to find more clarity, trying to see where Fett could be. He breathes in, and then out, slowly, letting his senses stretch out further than they ever could before in his last life.
He sees the dark caverns, the slavers, men and women being forced to work, he can hear more shouts, people calling for their loved ones. His head turns and he sees again Jango, sitting in the midsts of other slaves, glaring, breathing deeply as he takes what seems to be a break.
He moves his sight from him though, he needs to see where he actually is. The force moves him along at his prompting, and moves to a group of guards, a human, and 2 Gamorrean?

“Gamorreans generally work for the Hutt’s, but they could be mercenaries, working independently, either way, it narrows it down” He thinks to himself, moving on, trying to find symbols, those in charge, something significant.
It takes only moments, but he finds what he’s looking for. A ship, a cargo ship, one with a giant symbol painted on the side. Black Sun, a crime syndicate that had mostly died out before the clone wars began, and are apparently the ones holding Fett. It’s also possible that the Hutts are involved if their guards are being staged with Black Sun.
He can’t keep doing this, he needs to know where they are. He takes a deep breath, and letting go of his limits, he sucks himself out of the building, out of the land, out of the sky and his vision shows him the planet, floating through space. Three continents, all wrapping around the planet, green fauna, and blue seas.
“Got it,” He says, his eyes open to Satine still sitting in her seat, her legs tucked beneath her, and her eyes closed, sleeping peacefully. His hand still clutched in hers, the entire time he’d been searching.
His head turns to the window and he finds the sun gone, the first of Mandalore's two moons just barely peeking up through the horizon, it only just turned dark it seems. He stands up with a smile, gently picking Satine up in his arms before walking her to her cabin, and tucking her into bed.

Obi Wan scrolls through the lists of planets through his datapad, searching for the ones that meet his criteria. Three continent carrying planet, large mining operations, human population most likely, with large quantities of marble, or some other white mineral that resembles marble.
He can’t help but sigh, remembering his old cases, ones that he used to work on just like this and he cant help but feel that this is taking much longer than it should be, but he keeps scrolling, needing the name of the planet, and its coordinates. He quietly laughs to himself though, thinking that this would be torture for Anak.. for some of his old friends.
He can’t help but let his eyes go a little glassy, thinking about the past, but he swallows thickly, and shakes his head, continuing his search, he looks back down at his datapad, his finger hovering above the screen.
He stops though, just about to move onto the next planet, his finger held onto the image of the place head seen in his vision. A blue and green planet with three continents wrapping around it like a glove. Below is a little summary of the planet, listing all of the things he’s looking for.
Ralltiir, he sees, a mining planet extracting marble, as he’d guessed, though he’s sure that’s not the only thing there getting out of those mines. It’s located in the core, with lightspeed, the trip should only take about a day, plenty of time to prepare for whatever it is he needs to do with Fett.
Free him, gain some information from him, codes, people, names, help him in some way, whatever it is, he’ll have to be careful indeed. Whether he’ll act in a friendly manner than last time or not, it will take a bit of work to figure things out, especially if he needs Fett to be in a friendly manner.
He puts his datapad down and swivels his chair towards the controls of the ship. He starts flicking switches and hitting buttons, inputting the lightspeed coordinates into the ships navigation, afterwhich, he turns the ship to the correct position, facing away from Mandalore, and into the endless expanse of space.
With a little smile, he grasps the lever and pushes it forward, feeling the slight jerk as he rockets them into lightspeed, heading to his first official step into fixing the galaxy he had failed.
He sits back in his chair, watching the swirling stars fly by him, taking in the beautiful sight he hasn’t seen in over three years.
“Ben? Where are we going?” A confused Satine asks from behind him, looking at him from the doorway. Obi turns his chair back around with a sheepish smile, realizing that he may have jumped the gun a little bit.
“Well my dear, I’ve found Fett, he’s being held on a planet called Ralltiir,” He says, reaching around for the data pad before handing it to her, showing everything that he’s found. She takes it, eyeing him through her lashes for a moment before skimming the short summary of the planet.
“And why my dear Jedi, have we left Mandalore to find him?” She asks, a frown pulling on her lips as she sits in the copilot's chair.
“I think that he can help us put an end to Manalores crisis in some way,” He says, his hand holding his chin as he strokes it, contemplating still in what way the force will guide Fett into helping. Satines brow arches, skeptical as she turns to look out into the lightspeed tunnel, before returning her eyes to him.
“Obi, I can’t be gone from Mandalore, not for long at least, and we don’t know if Fett can or will even want to help,” She says with a shake of her head.
“You said he’s meant to be Manda’lore, if nothing else, he can help you rally the planet, help you with practically anything political, in a way that I can’t,” He says calmly, trying to figure out everything in the moment he’s telling her.
“You're being rash, you don’t know that he’ll even want to be Manda’lore, if he wants to fight or support us, we don’t know anything regarding him” She says firmly, her words laced with a bit of heat, leaning forward in her seat. Obi Wan winces knowing that she’s right, and looks down at his lap for a moment.
“Your right,” He says with a sigh, looking down at his lap, “Your right, I’m being rash, and I am sorry, but Satine, the force if calling me. While I don't know what it is that Fett can help us with, I do know that he can, in some way,” He says looking back up, meeting her eyes with his.
“I hope you're right Obi,” She says simply, her hands in her lap as she looks back out the window. He nods his head a bit, hoping that he is actually right about this whole thing as well. Gently he reaches over and takes her hand, forcing her lips to betray her, a little smile coming to rest on her face, replacing her frown as they fly onwards.
